Year In Reivew === [00:00:00] Daniel: Okay, so that's a whole platform of vehicles, last mile vehicles, right? [00:00:06] Vince: Talking about last mile vehicles, last mile distribution, last mile [00:00:09] Daniel: vehicles. Like that's, that's the, that's the whole idea of 'em, right? So like you Correct. You're in a short distance. W you obviously you've rode a one wheel, [00:00:19] Vince: right? I have attempted to ride a one wheel, yes. Okay. Is it before my 50th birthday? now. [00:00:27] Daniel: Do you think? So obviously I, the, the main ones I see are like electric skateboards. Mm-hmm. , electric scooters and bird and all that thing that seems like kind of fallen on, at least in India. I don't really see 'em that much anymore. Right. Bicycles? Yep. Either electric or none. What if you had to pick one for the rest, like to get from home to the office downtown, what would be your, would would still be a bike or would [00:00:49] Vince: you do something different? No prob Well, probably a bicycle or, I'm not a motorcycle guy. I'm, I think motorcycles are cool. . Yeah. Most likely. We'll never own one. [00:00:57] Daniel: I would kill myself on one. Yeah. Yeah. There's no, I can't. But [00:01:00] if there's [00:01:00] Vince: a, you know, the Tesla of either a motorcycle or dare I say a moped and be it myself, but you know, a scooter of some sort, like a Vespa, um, maybe that's quite like cooler electric. Cooler. Right. Um, just to go from point A to point, like to the office and back. [00:01:18] Daniel: Yeah. That little go-kart. The Lamborghini [00:01:20] Vince: go-kart. Ooh. . I'd probably kill myself doing that too. Probably. But that would be, you'd look good doing it. That would be badass, so, oh yeah. Yeah. Super. [00:01:29] Daniel: 73 this. These are one of the ones, if I lived, that's pretty cool. If I lived downtown, this is what I would have. [00:01:34] Vince: That's, those are cool. That's around the same, well, that's a little bit more expensive than the Lamborghini. Go-Kart has a lot more range. What is the range on that? Does it [00:01:42] Daniel: say it's like 30 miles or something? Or 20? Oh, it's perfect. Plus, that's great. Yeah. 40. . Oh [00:01:48] Vince: yeah. Perfect. What's top speed? 20 plus. 20 [00:01:51] Daniel: plus. Yeah. All right. And it has a full throttle, so like you can just, you don't have to, you can do pedal assist to go above 20, and then why would I do that? Right. I [00:02:00] don't know. . Yeah. If I lived in like Chicago, San Francisco, downtown Indy in a metro major metropolitan area, that's what [00:02:08] Vince: I would've for sure. Now the question, so if you know where our office is downtown? Yeah. If I'm riding from my house downtown, do I go on the streets or do I go on the um, the moan? What's that? [00:02:19] Daniel: I think it would be a illegal la moan. Technically can't ride it on the, on the moan cuz it would be whatever class, whatever vehicle, electric vehicle in it. So you'd be on the streets? [00:02:27] Vince: What if I'm pedaling? Well, they'd have to catch you. Yeah. That's pretty cool. Yeah. Well, if I didn't have two college tuition to deal with, I might, might consider. It's what I mean, [00:02:39] Daniel: saving money on gas . Yeah. . [00:02:42] Vince: Yeah. If our, uh, attorney or insurance folks are watching this, they're like, no, no, do not, don't, do not, don't do, do that, do that. Oh, well, [00:02:52] Daniel: think of the environment. [00:02:54] Vince: This is true. This is true. Do your part well. Um, [00:03:00] yeah, I'll, I'll think about that. Stay tuned folks. It may never happen if, if, if I, if we get one of those. So it's gonna, it's gonna be you, not me. And then we'll do an episode to highlight that and, Hey, I'm in, [00:03:14] Daniel: yeah. Black and yellow [00:03:17] Vince: Yeah, [00:03:18] Daniel: just, we'll, they'll take the Sonos, move, put it on the bottom. We'll just blast that while we drive [00:03:22] Vince: around. Yeah. This is, this is going downhill fast. I like it. Is this thing on. All right, kids. Hey, welcome back to another episode of the Summits podcast. We appreciate you guys tuning in from wherever you get your podcast. Uh, for those of you guys watching on the Heroes Foundation YouTube channel. One, thank you. Number two, if you haven't subscribed, please do so. It's absolutely free. It will not cost you nearly as much as the electric scooter. [00:04:00] Um, so we'd appreciate you if you did that. Uh, today we're gonna do a little recap. 2022, the year of the deuce Deuce, as we called it. Um, some called it, some called it some, some being me. Uh, we're gonna do a little recap of. All kinds of aspects of what heroes did, what the podcast did in 22, um, if you were with us the entire year. Awesome. Thank you. Thank you. Um, for those of you who are maybe new to the podcast, welcome and, uh, let's get rolling. [00:04:28] Daniel: Did you, did you get fed or pop up any of the other year in review type things? Like, I know Spotify does it like a podcast app that I do like, says how many hours you listen to, did you do? Uh, no. Anything like that? Okay. No. It's kind of [00:04:43] Vince: cool. I just killed that. . I can't say that I have No, no. [00:04:48] Daniel: I, that's, I think is, uh, it's, it's become more popular. So we're trying to take what we did here and bring that up and talk about everything. I did surmise it and talk to it so we, I know we did last [00:04:59] Vince: year, [00:05:00] producer Chris pulled up some. Interesting analytics for us quickly as we were talking about, uh, our episode prep and showing my true age. Half of the stuff I didn't quite understand, but it was, it's interesting. I mean, uh, you know, some episodes did phenomenally well and some of the shorts, like little Yeah. Promos that we put out there. Yep. , we we're, we're off the charts. There's one from Purdue, which, you know, much to my dismay is as our top viewing short. Yep. It's great. It's perfect. You know, boiler up for that. You're welcome. And then there were other episodes that that just didn't seem to take off for whatever reason, which is a little surprising. But hey, it is what it is and we're learning from it. I will say, any of you out there who, I'll, I'll say this now and I'll probably say it again at the end. Throw out in the comments. You guys have ideas for guests. Uh, if there's something that we should do to improve the podcast, let us know. We, we are not experts. We're [00:05:56] Daniel: experts. Yeah. Yeah. We're open to feedback. Tell us we, we know we're not perfect. We'll, [00:06:00] that's right. Take anything, any input we can get. So, one cool set, right, like lifetime views on the YouTube channel itself, we are almost to 15,000 lifetime views, which I think is pretty cool. It'll last 365 days. So basically the last. , um, 5,325. I don't have a great way to see all of 2021, but there's some, I mean, some cool stats there. I mean, we've, we've got quite a bit of views. I think the shorts is interesting. I think we're gonna play some more with that this year. Um, definitely from a YouTube algorithm standpoint, they're really pushing those and I think we can have some fun with 'em, especially if we get a scooter. So, [00:06:41] Vince: well, it's something I just thought about was, so for those of you who will be attending, An evening with your girls gala that's coming up, uh, soon. Very soon. When is this going out? ? Next week. [00:06:51] Daniel: Next week. [00:06:52] Vince: Okay. So we're ahead of the gala. Yeah. Almost botched that one. Um, for those of you who have been attendance at the gala this year, uh, look for the [00:07:00] Summits podcast, uh, booth, I guess if you would call it. Yeah. Come share your story. That could be some great short material there. Oh, oh, yeah. Yeah. And, uh, and you're gonna make yourself, you can become YouTube [00:07:09] Daniel: famous. Yeah. Or infamous. Or infamous . We'll, we'll try and, uh, we'll try and make sure we, we, we keep those on the cutting room floor. Right. [00:07:18] Vince: Uh, one interesting stat, which I don't think you can see Daniel, is for the past 365 days, the impressions. Right. Okay. So eyeballs on any content within the hero's channel is 43,000. . [00:07:32] Daniel: Oh wow. That's pretty cool. So that ne, that doesn't necessarily, so that means that's not just people watching it, but that's it being served up on the side. Correct. Where, um, you know, suggestions, watching your videos on, on YouTube and something. Okay. That's pretty good. Yeah. So do we need to get that over a hundred thousand this year? Let's do it. Okay. We gotta make more shorts. So [00:07:51] Vince: last year was the, um, year of the Deuce Deuce. This year it's, um, might be me, my personal mantra. Cause I know you. [00:08:00] The Deuce. Deuce, but , we're going the deuce Trace. We're going, we're going l f, g and 23. [00:08:06] Daniel: Okay. All right. I'm I'm much, I'm, I'm on. What's that? Yeah, I'm on board with that one. I was, I thought I was gonna be the deuce trace and I'm gonna still be out, so, okay. That's, [00:08:14] Vince: yeah. No, no, that's not, it's only after Mexican. All right, [00:08:20] Daniel: Oh, you're [00:08:21] Vince: welcome. I'll be here all. I'll be here all day. I [00:08:25] Daniel: like the, uh, I like the L f G in 23. I'm, I'm on, I'm on board with that one. Yeah. All right. [00:08:30] Vince: Cool. All right. Hashtag that. [00:08:31] Daniel: Yep. Can add that to our shorts. There you go. Perfect. Is that already trending? I guess we should find out. I, that'll be some homework for, for us to find [00:08:41] Vince: out. Well, so speaking of the gala, let's, let's backtrack. So the, the, the 22 gala was the, um, , we were back live cause 21 we were remote due to the vid and so we're back live in 22. Hell of a hell [00:09:00] of an event. Mm-hmm. . Um, it was awesome. It was great to be back. Live auction. Did phenomenally well. We had some, you know, that that's one of those things where it could be hit or miss and all. A lot of it just depends on who's in the room. Yeah. Live auctioning industry even. I got surprised in that there were a couple of items, I guess we had, not backups, but had multiple of that I didn't even know about. , it's fine. Um, and there the one, one of the, well, there are a few things I remember from that night. The ones that I can mention were the, uh, bourbon Oh yeah. Package. Oh, yeah, yeah. I don't remember. I don't know if it was, I think it was Harry was running around the room. This is the auctioneer for anybody who's not, not been. And he points what I thought he was pointing at me saying, we have a second one. Right. And I was, Uh, . Don't think so. And he's like, yes, we have a second one. I'm like, not realizing Cindy was like in line directly behind me, and she, they, they had already conversed and knew about it, and then they sold a second one. I think they sold. . So two of those, two of those [00:10:00] anyway. And then three of the, the Italy trip like that. Yeah. Italy trip was the other one. That was awesome. Unbelievable. It was, it was awesome that that doesn't happen every year for sure. Yeah. Is there a live auction this year? Uh, so we'll have a live auction this year. Okay. I'm excited. Of course. Um, yeah, I'm excited for 23. Numbers look phenomenal. Um, partnerships for, for the year and, and, and as a whole, but also for the gala are, are ahead. Well, they've set new records, I should say, so before we've even shown [00:10:27] Daniel: up. Yeah, that's awesome. [00:10:28] Vince: We're we're excited about that. Yeah. Um, but last year's was great. It's a good time. Um, I don't know. I mean, it, I mean, it's been a year, so my, you know, my memory sucks . Um, but overall it was, it was a great, it was a great time. I mean, I had a good blast. We tried to have fun. Um, it's gotta have a lot of structure to it these days, but it, it's also trying to try to have, uh, a lot of fun. Yeah. It's a [00:10:51] Daniel: good event. Yeah. You get to dress up. That's one time a year I dress up. Right, right. And, [00:10:55] Vince: and this year we're dressing up, but we're also bringing some, bringing some heat with the kicks. Yep. [00:11:00] [00:11:00] Daniel: Yep. Um, I like it. Much more comfortable that way. Yeah. So [00:11:03] Vince: much better if you have time. And I don't, I don't know, I don't know. Stock X or wherever the goat, whatever, could turn these around. But, um, take a look at, take a look at Daniel's Kicks. Right? He'll be sporting these Galen if I'll throw 'em up. Yeah. If you're coming and you don't have some of these yet. Those, those bad boys, those are heroes colors. He might say they're boiler colors, but you know, you know, it's [00:11:23] Daniel: all good. It's, it's dual purpose. Right. So I'm okay with it. It's great. Yep. Heroes first. [00:11:26] Vince: Those are the Jordan Taxi. Yeah, the Jordan one, Lowe Taxi. Taxi is [00:11:33] Daniel: the, the model. Then they have Jordan whatever. If you're a high top person, I know there's a couple people that I know that, that's high tops only, uh, there is a high top version as well go. So sweet. If you're, uh, if you're a high topper , you, you can join in the fun as well. Right. [00:11:47] Vince: Um, I guess click clicking on the events of 22 real quick. We'll can Yep. Kind of fly through some of those. So we had the gala was great. Awesome. Set new records there. , then we went on [00:12:00] to fit for heroes. Yep. Um, a little bit later in the year than typical. And so we had a few challenges there, but overall performed probably, I would say pretty decent. Yep. Um, that event, uh, as we've talked about, you guys have probably all heard me talk about like it has massive potential, not just here in Indie, uh, but some of the vision stuff that we're working on for that is really taking that thing statewide. Mm-hmm. . Um, and so we, in 22, towards the end of 2022, we made a new hire, uh, Mr. Scott Mingle, who you guys have seen, probably seen the episode, um, of, uh, has come on board as a program and event manager to help, you know, take that. As well as our project militia program, um, and some other things, and really kind of get his arms around those, hone them in and, um, boost them towards the, uh, the vision that we have for him. So I'm [00:12:49] Daniel: excited about that. I'm excited to see what he does with it. He's got some, he's got a good background. He's got a good, good, uh, good head on his shoulders to figure that [00:12:56] Vince: out. Yep. I know he's already been working hard. Going into the [00:13:00] 23 event, we've got some things working. Um, in fact have a, I've gotta have a conversation later this morning, uh, with some folks on that. So excited about the, uh, the potential there. So stay tuned. Yeah. Um, and then we went into wine tasting, uh, wine tasting with peachy that was back live. Um, having done. , it's, uh, previously in a, a, uh, virtual environment or mm-hmm. , I think it was hybrid. I can't remember. It [00:13:22] Daniel: was virtual then. It was virtual only with very small group, and then it became hybrid and then back [00:13:28] Vince: to back to live last year. Yeah. Mm-hmm. . And we went to a new venue, larger venue. Um, by all accounts did, did really well. Yep. Uh, was there, um, a lot of artwork, um, to check out? Yeah, it was pretty well attended. Mm-hmm. , uh, I wanna say it was the largest attendance that, uh, they've, we've had to date. But, uh, don't quote me on that, but I think that that was accurate. So, I mean, it [00:13:50] Daniel: was in a good size venue and it, I mean, it was full. Yeah, it was, it. [00:13:54] Vince: Yeah, so a lot of, lot of funds raised there for the, uh, the Peachy Fund [00:14:00] for breast cancer. Um, and then we swung into Swing for Heroes. Let's see what I did there. I like it. Um, cool thing about Swing for Heroes was we sold out way in advance. Um, at what time? Way, way further than normal. Um, and the, and the, cool, well, there are two, two aspects of that was cool. One just selling out and then two, we actually had expanded the event. Yeah. And so, you know, selling out, selling out wasn't really even on the radar per se, but expanding it to two different, uh, shotgun tee times. Um, almost, I wouldn't say doubling the size of the event, but pretty close. Pretty close. Yeah. Um, and to sell it out that far in advance was awesome. And so coincidentally, and I'm not complaining, I'm, I'm shocked. I'm, I appreciate all of you who have gotten involved with it. Um, as of. January 13th of this taping will air next week. Um, we literally only have, it's either two or three foursomes. I think it's three foursomes left maybe. That's awesome. Yeah, so, um, really [00:15:00] excited about that. Yeah, thank you all for supporting that one. I like the split [00:15:03] Daniel: form cause I got to play twice. I played in the morning and I played in the afternoon with two different sets of teams. Competitive team and a fun team. . [00:15:13] Vince: not to go down that rabbit hole, but was, was it competitive in the morning because we were still completely sober and less competitive in the afternoon? Because maybe I can't share those details. [00:15:22] Daniel: You had partnered with Titos? Yeah. Well I can't at that point. I can't, I can't say really, honestly. I mean, our partnership with Titos is very strong. It's very strong. Yes. It's strong. Yeah. very [00:15:30] Vince: strong. Um, and then last but not least, we rolled into the Piff party, which was at the end of the year in 22. . Unfortunately, I, I couldn't make it this year. You weren't there that, yeah. Long story. I had a work thing that came up that I could not avoid and that it was not to go down, uh, that path, but I just, I had, you know, work, work called and I had to, had to be out of town for that. And so unfortunately couldn't make it. Um, entertainment was phenomenal. Yeah, it was great. Uh, Brett [00:16:00] and Clayton rocked it from an understand, they did a collab song, I guess. Yeah. And those of you guys were there. , I, we [00:16:06] Daniel: left early cause we had little, little ones at home. Right. And I'm a bummed that I missed what, how everyone's told me. It's like, it was really awesome. It's like, oh man. So now the rest of it was cool too, but that, that would've been sweet to see them [00:16:19] Vince: up there together. Yeah, for sure. Um, 2020 threes. iteration of Piff party. I believe we're moving back to May, um, at the Vogue again in Broader Bowl. So stay tuned for more details on that. I'm excited to, to hit that one. Um, and hopefully I'll be there this year. Yeah, . [00:16:36] Daniel: Uh, but do we need to put it on your calendar now so that way, [00:16:40] Vince: uh, well possibly. But like the thing that popped up in 22, like even if it's unavoidable, was on my calendar and it didn't matter. This, you know, duty called. So I'm looking forward to that. Keep put that on your calendar, like especially all you, you younger fans out there. Uh, not that it matters who's there, but this is definitely an [00:17:00] event that if you're in the, your 20 or 30 something have never been to a heroes event, uh, want to start off with one great, easy way of doing that, learn more about the foundation and kind of, you know, get, dip your tail in and yeah, let's [00:17:12] Daniel: roll. Yep. It's a lot of fun. [00:17:15] Vince: Uh, you have, you have a list. Questions or topics? Mm-hmm. , before we go into like programs, Let's, let's hit a couple other questions or stats here. Okay. [00:17:26] Daniel: Let's do, uh, let's hit a couple of questions. We have. You're focusing, kind of shifting over, um, to the back to the podcast, what we're doing right now. Right. Um, overarching throughout the year, bringing on guests and doing diff We did some traveling, we had some, um, different events that we had. We always, you know, filling these in between the, the different events at Heroes that has, and we're trying to get things to tie into each other, so, There's a lot that happens every year in this room and whenever we travel. So what was your most memorable either, um, podcast event, [00:18:00] podcast guest, whatever you want to, however you want to [00:18:03] Vince: decipher that. So two, two things Stick out to me right now. When we were, as we were kind of talking about this beforehand, uh, about. The Summits podcast in 22. First of all, it's a sophomore season, right? Yeah. So we didn't wanna do the sophomore slump, and I think we avoided that, which I'm, I'm proud of our team for, for that, and proud of the fact that we are, we're rolling into 23, you know, LFG and 23. Mm-hmm. . We're, we're, we're ready to go. Focus and ready to roll and, and take it up a notch. Mm-hmm. again. So if you guys have any ideas, thoughts, bring it. Yep. Um, the road trip I thought was cool. Yeah. Um, on, on a couple different things. One, it's just fun to do. . Uh, so for when we referenced road trip, guys we're talking about when, and you guys saw the episodes, or if you haven't you can go back and and check 'em out. We went to Purdue and did a couple of interviews there, and then we went on up to Notre Dame and did, uh, three interviews there. And the reason why we did those is because we have done some, um, gifting or if you call, wanna call it, [00:19:00] uh, investments and, and research that are happen. Purdue University in the University of Notre Dame. Yep. And I'll, I'll be free to admit, before all this went down, um, if someone said, well, where all is cancer research being done in the state of Indiana? Um, naturally I what I've said, well, the IU School of Medicine and the Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, but maybe what I didn't realize is Purdue University and University of Notre Dame are also doing cancer research. Mm-hmm. on campus. On campus at those, at those universities, and. As we learn more about what they're doing up there and made investments in some projects at each of those institutions, you know, it, it just, it just, I dunno, the light bulb came on and it's not a new thought as I've learned. I mean, many others have, have been working on this for years, but wow. We have three major universities in the state of Indiana and, and, and probably more, I'm not trying to, um, you know, bypass any other schools we have in the state, but who are doing great work [00:20:00] and. That's important to us because we are an Indiana organization focusing on the state of Indiana and the Indiana cancer community. And then how do, how can we collaborate? Yeah. Either us with them or getting all three together. And some of that is already being done. Mm-hmm. . So it's not, it's not a new question or new theory by any means. Um, so I'm just excited. And then what. is, I guess, been an end result of this is not only us establishing a better relationship with each of those schools, but also looking at, um, some strategic, if you will, with fit for heroes and stuff, and, and taking things and, you know, having a vision of making them a, a statewide program or statewide event that all these, um, research institutions, if you will, can, can benefit from. And so, . It's not, it's not a matter of establishing that relationship cause that that's been established now, but now it's growing it [00:20:57] Daniel: and Yeah. It's engaging country and growing it and [00:21:00] Yeah. And figuring how to continue to be involved. Right. [00:21:02] Vince: So I'm, I'm excited about it. It's, you know, Scott's got a lot of work ahead of him on the fit for Hero's side, but, um, overall I think everyone's genuinely excited about what we can all do together. Yeah. Yep. Um, that's what I, it just, it's just cool. So doing those interviews at each of those places, I don't have. Like affiliation with each, with either of them. You know, we can all joke about, cause I'm an IU guy and, and joke about the iu, Purdue rivalry, whatever. But you know, as we said, multiple times up there, whether, you know, on air or in private, like cancer doesn't give a crap. Yeah. Cancer doesn't care if you went to IU or Purdue or Notre Dame or Ball State or Butler, whatever. Yep. It doesn't matter. So we're rolling this together as, as Hoosiers and. . I'm, I'm excited about it. I thought the, I thought the interviews went, went well. Yep. Learned a lot. Oh, yeah. Um, met a couple Purdue basketball players who were in, on the, on the, the men's team. We just shooting around. We did three at Purdue also. Uh, yes, we did. We, yeah. Right. I keep, yeah. So I met, met a couple basketball players shooting around, so we were kind of jabbing a little [00:22:00] bit. Yep. And then, um, met Katie Geralds. Katie's awesome. Yeah. Um, we probably had some interesting, better, interesting comments. Off camera than we did on Yeah. Which would've been funny if we had recorded those, but, um, that's where [00:22:13] Daniel: we gotta start doing those shorts. Man. That's some good content there. I know [00:22:16] Vince: she's cool. Um, and wanna thank, thank my buddy Ethan Braden, for not only doing the episode, but helping us coordinate some stuff up there. I'll be hitting you up again here soon, Ethan. So stay tuned for that. And then, uh, Notre Dame was cool. Yeah. Um, we learned a lot more about the Harper Cancer Research Institute. Mm-hmm. , um, with the docs, uh, there, they had been good partners, um, already. And that trip, um, beyond just the podcast episodes we did, uh, the, the morning after development meeting that we talked about, um, kind. Mm-hmm. set the, not to set the stage, but help get, got the ball rolling in terms of that vision, that idea about, um, increasing [00:23:00] the scope of fit and whatnot. Yeah. Up there. So there's a lot of work to be done, but looking forward to what all gets accomplished in 23 and how to kind of really get that snowball rolling like we did Yeah. 23 years ago with the foundation in general. So, um, I don't know if that answered your question. The, the, the road trip was cool. Yeah. I wanna do more of those. Maybe we can do one a year. Yep. . [00:23:20] Daniel: One thing I liked about that was, especially in something that we're, we've been talking about, but it was, um, seeing where the dollars went. Mm-hmm. and seeing the equipment that we literally got to see the equipment that the heroes donation. purchased right. To allow them to do things. And so meeting some of the researchers that were in the lab at Notre Dame was really cool for me. Um, I just, I kind of, I like that stuff. Get a little nerd out on it. [00:23:44] Vince: And, uh, I made a, uh, flux capacitor joke and no one laughed. No one laughed. It was like crickets. Yeah. Killed, just killed it, . So it was, that's why I'm not an academic [00:23:56] Daniel: folks. Yeah. So that was, that was really cool. I, I enjoyed the road trip as well. That, [00:24:00] that for me, I think. That was my most memorable thing. We six podcasts in two days. Mm-hmm. , we, we got a lot accomplished. We met some really cool people. And I think, um, I know for you, it, it helped kind of drive home that idea of, okay, we're an Indiana organization, we're, we're working, and there's a lot going on here, and we can, we can tell, we can continue to tell those stories and share what we're doing and how we're doing it, so. Right. Yeah. I I really enjoyed that. Cool. [00:24:27] Vince: Um, but you had, , were there any episodes aside from that, from side? Any episodes that really stood out? Yep. Um, I mean, I don't wanna play favorites by any means, and it's, it's not really necessarily a favorite. I think there's several episodes that popped out. I mean, you know, this is about all about people coming on and telling or sharing their cancer story. And as we've talked about before, like everybody has a cancer story, whether it's them personally or someone that that's close to them. A lot of good stories told. from some people who are a little more well known in the public light [00:25:00] to people that, that you or I might know. Mm-hmm. , but not everyone else. Um, just a lot of good stories shared. I mean, I, yeah, some of the stuff we, a lot of the stuff we did in studio, we had a couple offsite ones, um, you know, aside from the road trip and, and that, those were always fun too. I don't know, I, I, I'm not sure one really sticks out more so than the. . Um, cuz my memory sucks. I I remember some of the more recent ones. Better, um, as you're scrolling through, like Yeah. Just kind of re re um, reestablishing some conversation with Kristen was fun. I hadn't talked to her in gosh, a long time. Yeah. Um, she's great. So her story is, you know, kind of reminisced about, um, when Stuart Scott was here in town and so that was great. Um, Kristen's awesome. More recently, Scott Pollard, who, I mean you, I had to miss that episode. Yeah. But, uh, he was fun. Had a lot of good off conversation and we've done some, some, uh, messaging, especially when they kicked IOU's ass in Kansas, . Um, [00:26:00] so we had some good stories there. Um, Gary Bracket was great. He know I've known each other for a few years. Uh, it was good catching up with him. Scott Dunston out of Charlotte Scott is. . I don't know. How do, how do I describe Scott? Just one of the most genuine dudes you'll ever meet. And it's not the whole like, southern charm, BS, , like, like legit. One of the most genuine dudes, uh, you'll ever meet, uh, at Jenny Larner, I new in high school, hadn't seen or talked to in, in years. Coming back and sharing her, her story was, Quite impactful. Like, like I don't wanna single a couple out versus everybody else. I mean, there's just a lot of good, a lot of good stuff. Yeah. [00:26:44] Daniel: I think overall the, the thing, um, for me was like you talked about is second year of doing this and let's just say Jenny Brown, sorry. [00:26:51] Vince: Yeah. Brown that are learners, your maiden [00:26:53] Daniel: name. Um, but we, we kept the momentum going. We didn't, we didn't really slow down. We, we, , [00:27:00] we found new ways to do different things for continuing to improve things. So I think just overall, just continuing to do what we've been doing and getting better at it and trying to get better at it. Right. And, and continue to find guests and, um, talk, um, you know, sharing stories. That's one thing that's always interesting after the thing. I think that's the piece for me that's always been big is afterwards, whether it's on camera or not, the. Conversation we have afterwards. Like I've sometimes they've never shared their story in whole like that before, or it's been a minute since I've talked about it. And just, um, then guests talking about how they watched other episodes and, and, um, and people talking to people that. , you know, this is a platform for people to share their stories, so. Right. I think that overarching continues to be a very memorable and impactful thing for me. It's just, you know, being here to [00:27:45] Vince: help people do that. Yeah. I think we also learned almost as much off camera as we did on, so yeah. Another one that pops out, Dr. Lao. Oh yeah. At Purdue. Yep. Uh, we were talking before we started recording. Never would've guessed that, you know, he, about his [00:28:00] whole college basketball background and high school basketball background. Yeah. Obviously in the state of, that's, that's pretty cool. Yeah. Um, just wouldn't have guessed that. Yeah. But yep, it is what it is. Let's [00:28:11] Daniel: see. I think I have another question or two here. I know this, we have a, we have a. , um, extensive list for this, but for know where you're going. L f g in 23, who is a dream [00:28:25] Vince: guest? So, I mean, I, it's hard to come up with one. I have, I have sent, and if, look folks, if there's a better way of doing this, I'm all ears. Let me know. Um, I realize like you have like your. It's gonna sound bad. Like you're, you're a list, you're dream list, whatever you wanna call it. Yeah, yeah. People that, I don't know, people who are, you know, celebrities and the odds of even getting in front of them are slimming. None. You go on their social, you know, their, either their Twitter account, Instagram, [00:29:00] whatever. Yeah. Is it sliding in the dms? Is that what they fuck they call it? Well, I mean, [00:29:03] Daniel: yes, but, okay, well, whatever, whatever might, that has some, some connotations to it. The way I [00:29:07] Vince: try try, I try to message. , assuming they even get it, they probably get a bazillion of 'em. So they've got it filtered now, or some of 'em got smart. Just not even allow that to give an option. Yeah. But I have tried to message several and just say, Hey, would you be open to be a guest on our podcast? Here's what it's all about. You know, if you wanna have one of your reps or whomever, contact me, happy to, you know, answer any questions, get more information. Most of the times it, I never get a response. Yeah. Um, but I've done it with, with, you know, with several, I mean, I, I can think. . So there's two people that stand out right now that not only are a-listers, but I know for a fact legit have a legit cancer story, um, and would be a great guess. Mm-hmm. so sorry, Andy, but Tom Brady would be great. Yeah. Um, Tom ha his family has been hit by cancer. Tom does podcasts himself. I think he would be certainly a great guest. Um, let's see. Oh, Erin [00:30:00] Andrews, I recently, um, sent a thing to her. She is a cancer survivor. a podcaster. Mm-hmm. . So I think she would be a great story to tell. Uh, and those are just two. I I can think I could list. I know it's 20 plus. I know. Easy. [00:30:14] Daniel: We, we got this, this question kind of thrown up right as we were before. My brain's still been going through. I now [00:30:19] Vince: who do I think if you would've come Yeah. Come, come off the, the A-list. It doesn't lift live here. Uh, and some of these I would still, you could argue they're still a-listers, but they're more local. Yeah. If we, you know, folks Indianapolis or Indiana in general is. two ways back to Kevin Bacon, or you know, they said in New York City it's seven, seven ways Back to Kevin Bacon, India. It's two. Yep. That's good and bad. Um, in this case it's positive. Uh, like Roger Pensky I think would be, yeah. Phenomenal. Yep. So if you don't know who Roger Penske is, Google him. I think most of you probably do. Yeah. Um, now owner of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, his, his companies are, um, he would be a great. Fellow [00:31:00] Fiji, uh, not at iu. I think it went to Michigan. Um, but he would be a great guest. Um, I got, I could think of, I could probably list 20, I know just around here that, that would be great guests. Um, so anybody has a good connection to Roger. Uh, Dave, if Dave first, if you're watching you wanna help us out there, it'd be great. Dave would be a great guest. Uh, Doug Bulls would be a great guest. I just kind of siloed the Indy 500 or IMS there. Jim Ey would be an interesting guest. It, he would. [00:31:34] Daniel: Hmm. I mean, he's just up the street from the studio. Right. And just go, Jim, [00:31:38] Vince: knock on his gate if you want us to come to your house and do it there. We we're happy. We're happy to there. Yeah. We'll make it happen. Could do that. Yeah. Uh, we do it in the, it's right around the corner. Uh, that would be interesting. Um, Pete, Pete Ward. Pete. Pete. I don't know if Pete would like to do this or not. He, I mean, he'd be a hell of a guest. That guy's got stories out there. You know what? Um, That'd be fun. Pat McAfee. I mean, I know Pat's [00:32:00] super hot right now and and there's a lot of people probably trying to get him to do a whole lot of things. Yep. But this is local Pat, if you wanna do swing on by bring in fact, you know what? Bring your, bring your bride because I know what she's doing in the animal, um, cancer space. Oh yeah. Yeah. And that would be a great story to tell. Yep. So anyway. Yeah. Thinks, list off a tangent. Yeah. I [00:32:21] Daniel: know The list list is never ending really. Right. And we literally have an Excel spreadsheet. , hundreds of guests on it, I think. Yeah. At this point. So, um, in that vein, who is a guest that's been on the podcast already that we'd like to bring back to, to talk to again. Wow. Does it, you know, a lot of these would. There's, there's, there's updates, there's changes, there's follow up. They're just good people to talk to in general. I'd love to talk to me. Right. [00:32:50] Vince: So, I mean, I can think of a couple. Uh, one would be, so Lindy Thaxton. Mm-hmm. who, when we first. Did an episode with, or our first episode with her, [00:33:00] um, it was much closer to her battle, and Lindy has been kind enough to partner with us on the 2023 on Evening with Heroes Gala. So, um, it'd be great to have her come back in and talk about, you know, where, where things are today. Yeah. Uh, so I, I think she, she stands out to me as, as, as a guest who I think would be, uh, interesting to a follow up with for sure. [00:33:25] Daniel: And she was one of the first five guests that we had. It's been a little over a year ago, so Oh, wow. Be a good, uh, good one to circle [00:33:31] Vince: back to. Okay. I think if Sean, here's what'd be cool with Sean Warner. If he does, uh, Everest, which I'd have to go back and check. Don't quote me on this. I think. That's in his plans, but I could be wrong. Yeah, if he, he could do that. And we did a remote broadcast, a remote episode. Us here and him there. Yeah. That could be pretty freaking [00:33:53] Daniel: cool. Yeah, he was, he was one on my list that I'd like to catch up cuz right before, uh, when we were [00:34:00] doing the podcast interview with him was right before he is gonna do his next kliman jar. Um, okay. Trip. So just getting updated. What happened? How'd it go? Um, that, that's still something that I think about, uh, pretty regularly. Yeah, for sure. I was just talking about that with someone the other day. I was like, oh yeah, there's, I met this person who does a Kilimanjaro thing every year. I was like, sounds like it'd be kind of cool to do . Um, you're not talking me to do it in that, come on, we can get the, the breathing training mat. I had a guy that I worked with a few years. That he, he, he got all the apparel trained and didn't, and he went and did Killman dryer, brought back a bunch of pictures and Cool. Said It'd be fun. Yeah, [00:34:40] Vince: it'd be fun. They said it'd [00:34:41] Daniel: be. , it'd be fine. Yeah. We could do the one we [00:34:43] Vince: drive up Mountain. I know, I know a buddy who he's also got a, a good cancer story we should have him on, but a buddy who went and did kill Manjaro mm-hmm. and, um, they did not have the best experience. Okay. Um, and I've not talked to him specifically about that. And there may, he made, you know, in hindsight I look back [00:35:00] and say, yeah, you know, here's, here's three things that we did that we should not have done. Mm-hmm. that per, that contributed to the, the issue. But they didn't have, they did not have a great experience. Okay. Huh? Is he in the minority? Maybe. I don't, who knows? [00:35:15] Daniel: Maybe he didn't have Sean, [00:35:16] Vince: his guide. Maybe I will. I will say this. If I were to do it, I'm doing it with Sean. Yeah. A guy who's done it more than a dozen times and like has a plan and a process and like Yeah, a hundred percent. [00:35:28] Daniel: Yeah. I think that's something that would be fun to do. [00:35:30] Vince: Yeah, for sure. And he's someone who is going to get in my face and call me a, you know what, if I'm like complaining or like I'm out or whatever, like, yeah. Yep. [00:35:42] Daniel: Uh, let's see. Um, let's talk. Should we move talking to, uh, programs? [00:35:49] Vince: Yeah. Where do you wanna start? Well mix up the bag, [00:35:53] Daniel: pull one out. Yeah. Um, so I know, I know obviously what's, uh, what the hiring of Scott, right. [00:36:00] Um, project Militia. Do have any ideas on what that's gonna look like in 23? What Yes. What's going on there? [00:36:06] Vince: Scott's working on a. , I'll call it a business plan, for lack of a better term, um, for really kind of, I, I said, you know, if you take, take that program and literally blow it up mm-hmm. start from scratch, what does that look like? Everything from starting with, okay, what do we want to accomplish? Can we blow up the truck? What do we want it to be? I said, I said everything. Hey, everything is okay. I'm just, everything is fair game. I'm gonna have to talk to Scott. Um, for those of you who about Hero one? It's a, an old retired army truck that we have, um, unfortunately has not been utilized as much as it should be. Um, and so the question is like, do we keep it or do we get rid of it? I don't know. I'm, I'm open to whatever makes the most sense. Yeah. Uh, if that means selling it, then let's, let's get her sold. So he's gonna start working on that. And I, I would like to see things, um, advance, uh, in 23 with, with that [00:37:00] program for sure. So really the, the whole impetus of that, of Project Militia is, uh, really what a militia is. So it's a band of people getting together and working towards common cause. And so it's, it's really kind of our, our, excuse me, our avenue for educating the public, educating the community about cancer prevention. how you do that. There's, you know, a multitude of ways mm-hmm. . And so that's gonna be one of Scott's challenges is figuring out, okay, what, what does that plan look like? How do we go, go out in the community and do that? Yeah. Uh, both at companies, at schools, in, in terms of in general, um, team Heroes has been a, a, a. good component of that. Uh, I know he has met with them and talking about other ways outside when they're at, uh, at races, aside from just racing mm-hmm. , what other things can, what other, you know, components of the heroes, flags, uh, if you will, that they can carry. Um, that's all kind of all packaged together. So some, uh, interesting and exciting things to come there. And then that, that stuff [00:38:00] will then also kind of tie into fit for heroes as well. Yep. So it just made sense for him to, to manage both. . [00:38:07] Daniel: Well on that vein, obviously, you know, fit for Heroes is an event, but yeah, it ties into a couple different programs from that standpoint. So anything we can do to tie more together and get more, especially with the, the format we're trying to, to create with fit and getting more of the community involved and a bigger group of people, I think those two work really well [00:38:25] Vince: together. Yeah, so I think one big piece of that is gonna be, uh, companies. Mm-hmm. companies have talked about how do we, how do we get our employees more involved in the organization? If we, if we, if we buy a table to gala, it's only 10 seats, but I have 200 employees. That's great. Um, fit for hero's a great way to do that. You know, as an employer, I know that our health as an, and same with you. Mm-hmm. , healthcare costs are crazy. Yeah. Crazy. And so, um, if we can get just as one step in this direction, we can get more of our employees to join our, you know, team. [00:39:00] and fit for heroes, and their campaign is centered around whatever physical activity they're into. Um, and we're all, we're doing that to better ourselves, but at the same time, to raise money for the, for the foundation, it's, it's just like, it's a triple win. Yeah. Uh, so we just have to really get out there and educate everyone on what this option is. Yep. And then, and then go there and then collectively raise a whole bunch of phones, which would be awesome. And then turn around and then we gift those back into the state of Indiana. Mm-hmm. at the institutions we're talking about. Yep. And whatnot. . So I, I'm excited about the possibilities, the opportunities that lie ahead. [00:39:34] Daniel: Um, I think, uh, team Joey should have some exciting news this year with, uh, getting a room at the, uh, ri. Is that Riley? [00:39:43] Vince: Uh, no, sorry. So we have a, uh, a themed room that will, um, Has now been fully funded and is in awesome in the design stage. Now we're, we're coming towards the, the narrow end of the funnel on that. I'm excited to get that done and, and we'll unveil that this year. [00:40:00] Um, team, Joey's been great in terms of getting, you know, Legos out and, and really supporting pediatric cancer research, which is sorely under underfunded. Um, a couple interesting twists in 22 that will continue in 23. With that. Uh, naturally in May as, as in nie, which, you know, we, we all love the Indy 500. We did a Lego give and, uh, some good fr I call it friends of the program. Uh, some boosters, if you will, uh, who have some fun cars. Uh, we, we use, utilize those to do. to a, uh, I guess accompany a Lego give. And so we had those parked out of outside paint and managed children's. And so any families and kids that, whether you were well enough to come outside or they were maybe coming in or out with, uh, outpatient mm-hmm. , um, treatment, could check out the cars. We got a couple pictures of these kids sitting in the Lamborghini and Claire or whatever. I mean, it was awesome. Massive smiles like shit. I know at the time I was 49 years [00:41:00] old, I had a massive smile too. Yeah. Uh, so it was a lot of fun. And then that, that instant or instance, um, gave way or made way for the, um, horsepower for heroes. Yeah. Kind of a, I guess I'll call it an event cause that's what it is. Yeah. But it's not one of our, our core events. But it, uh, it's a fun way for folks who have these, these toys, these cars to. Have an excuse to go out. Yep. They're looking for more excuses to take 'em out and mm-hmm. and drive around and, and it's a way to really kind of, you know, get, get the cancer community together, um, for a, a fun time, a good cause. And, and these, you know, kids that came out to the first horsepower heroes in the fall, um, you know, they were, they were super excited. We had one kid who was, had just finished, uh, his treatment for osteosarcoma and so, He, he just straight up out, he was like, I go, what's your, what's your dream car of all, of any of these cars Here? He is like, oh, the Lambo? I said, oh yeah. Um, I go, okay. I can't [00:42:00] remember how, how it came up, but some of the effect of like, do you wanna take a ride in it? And he looked at me like, are you, are you serious? Like, don't, don't tease me like that. Yeah. I'm like, no, I'm serious. He is like, he's like, of course. . So we went out Yeah. And the kid was just like, on cloud nine. Like that, that made me feel great. Yeah. Like I, that was so cool. Yeah. So it was a good time. Um, and we'll, we'll do, excuse me, at least one of those, if not two. Mm-hmm. , um, hopefully doing two, one in the spring and won the fall in terms of horsepower for heroes. Yep. Have a whole bunch more cars there. Kind make a little community event out of it. Totally. Family friendly. Yeah. Free to attend. Um, so I'm looking forward to that. And then at the same time, utilizing some of those cars for more Lego gives. Yep. In 2023. And you'll also from, as part of team Joey, looking at doing some expanded gifts this year. um, aside from just the, the core pediatric, uh, facilities here in Indie, it's also going up to, uh, Lutheran and in Fort Wayne, um, two of the hospitals in [00:43:00] Chicago. Um, and then I believe the one in Cincinnati as well. And then, and then maybe even Louisville, but not, not sure yet. Uh, but so expanding that reach of mm-hmm. pediatric centers where, um, are that are treating kids. who are, are, have been diagnosed with cancer and, and come from the Hoosier State. So while I mentioned Chicago, since the Louisville, you have Hoosiers go into those centers, um, if they're just better, um, better suited geographically or whatever. Mm-hmm. . Yeah. So looking forward to that. [00:43:31] Daniel: You, uh, you brought up team heroes. , and I think there's some, there's some, there's also some exciting stuff going on with that. I know there's a, a board member that's involved with that, that's gonna be doing pretty big race this [00:43:42] Vince: year. Yeah. So in the last probably year or two they've, or maybe even longer than that, but they've kind of formed a, a, a committee or a management committee, if you will, that that really manages the team and are great liaisons between the foundation and the. the team has grown. The team is, is, is quite [00:44:00] active in a variety of disciplines, which is great to see. Um, and uh, I think one of the folk that you're, or the guy you're probably referring to is New Board Heroes Foundation, board member, Bryce Seller. And, and we'll have him on the podcast here soon. Yeah. Bryce has been very active, um, in terms of not just with the team. Doing with Fit for Heroes, doing this campaign that, that he uses, um, to help or towards a, uh, a race that he does in Kansas. It's a, it's a long ass, uh, mountain bike race. And he's, he's been phenomenal in terms of the funds that he has generated, uh, towards his campaign for Fit for Heroes. That in turn, um, is, is kind of. Been catalyzed by that, by that race in Kansas. So yeah, I know he has some big plans for 23. I hope he hits him or hope he had knocks him outta the park, which I, I would not bet against. That's for sure. . [00:44:54] Daniel: Yeah. After meeting him, I would, yeah. Um, [00:44:58] Vince: sjp. [00:45:00] Yeah, the sjp. So we, uh, we picked, uh, I don't wanna pick is the right word, but, So the sjp sjp, heroes Cancer Research Fund is a fund that is, has been established at, um, at IU that, uh, we, we've, we put deposits put money into each year so that that fund grows over time. And then the interesting income that that fund spends off, we then reinvest into. Research projects, uh, at the IU School of Medicine, iu, uh, assigning comprehensive cancer center. And in towards the end of 2022, we chose some new, a, a new project, um, to fund over the next three years. And so we will have that researcher on, in a, in a podcast in 2023. We was, we were doing our planning the other day. We will have her on to talk about, um, what all she's doing with that project. You know, how are things going so far? Mm-hmm. , what are her goals and all that [00:46:00] fun stuff. So stay tuned for that episode. Should be a good one. . [00:46:03] Daniel: And then I think that leads us to the Katherine Peachy Fund. [00:46:08] Vince: Yeah. So Katherine Peachy Fund had a great year in 20. That's great. Uh, not just in terms of the event, but a lot of the, the, the research, research done, uh, gifts that were, have been given out mm-hmm. um, and I, I know Stephanie and her team have a lot of big plans for 23, not just, you know, continuing the trend of growing the wine tasting event, which is a good one. Also didn't look at additional ways of funding breast cancer research being done here in Indiana. So, um, I guess we will, we'll see what, what 23 brings us. Mm-hmm. , but there's, uh, a lot of big stuff working, uh, on that, on that program as well. Yeah. [00:46:46] Daniel: Oh, let's see. I'm just kinda checking her notes here. Um, . I know right now one of the things that will, that ties into this and all the events is, um, you know, just continuing to, I [00:47:00] think you said earlier, is build on the momentum that's been, that's been building from last year into this year. And, um, you know, new team members are helping with that. New board members. Um, we. , you know, we added an, technically added an event last year with horsepower for heroes kind of thing. Right. So, right. Yeah. A lot of big things happening. So [00:47:18] Vince: yeah. Momentum's a good word for 23. Yeah. I don't know if I used that for 22 or not. If you did, I think momentum [00:47:24] Daniel: continues, right? Right. [00:47:24] Vince: So, right. Well, momentum's big, big right now for us in that, so you, you, it's all the things you just said. Um, we have four new board members. . Um, so some folks have ruled off after several years and we, we really appreciate all the years of support, uh, that they've provided. Uh, brought in four new, uh, board members, um, hired Scott towards the end of 22 as a programing event manager position that never existed before. Right? Brand new position, uh, transitioning executive directors. So Kelly Smith has, um, uh, left the Heroes Foundation towards the end of 22. Um, doing interviews right now [00:48:00] for the next executive director. Um, completed round two of interviews last night, as a matter of fact. Uh, have some phenomenal candidates. I'm excited about them. Um, so looking forward to that decision, um, coming soon and we'll introduce, we'll do an episode with the new executive director and introduce you all to him or her. Um, high, high powered, high quality folks who. , I see. You know, continuing that momentum and actually mm-hmm. accelerating it. Yep. Cause what, what we need is, I need, I need someone to hand the baton to, to take this thing on and, and do it on a more, uh, active, uh, more consistent basis. Mm-hmm. . And so, uh, looking forward to that. Um, and, and, and I think, as I mentioned at the top of the podcast, like we, we've already set records with our 2023 summit partners, which is phenomenal. Uh, we wanna thank all those folks. Um, and yet I still think we're just, honestly, we're just scratching the surface. I really do. Um, some new people who just are, [00:49:00] are getting into the Heroes Foundation family and maybe aren't taking it immediate leap to, to the summit level. They're getting in on either, you know, a table for the gala or force 'em for the swing or the wine tasting or what have you. um, what I see as, as potential Summit Partners down the line. Yeah. Um, they're really gonna get themselves educated on what Heroes is doing, and then they also see all the potential taking place. Um, so I, as I said in these interviews for the executive director position, I talked, I talked about us being a 22 year startup. It sounds super weird. I know, but really I kind of think that's where we are. And I, I think in a. The, the positive aspect of that is, is, is it excites people because they realize that there's just, we're just getting going. Mm-hmm. . and there's, there's, we, we've proven ourselves over the last 22 years. Yeah. But we're really just getting going and there's so much more we can do. Uh, but it, it, it takes time and, and, and, and it was a little more difficult for us cuz, you know, I have a, I have a day job and we, you know, most of us didn't have, you know, 40, 50 hours a week to [00:50:00] put into this, so mm-hmm. , um, now that we're building that team and, and reinvesting in ourselves, which I think most people understand, like it takes money to make money. and operating in this just like a business, um, it, it needs reinvestment to really be able to leapfrog, um, and get where we want to go. So I'm excited about that. 2023 is gonna be a big year. Mm-hmm. with some of the new hires, some new faces, some fresh blood, some fresh ideas, and just more manpower is going to be, you know, yeah. Knock on wood. A a huge thing for us. Yeah. [00:50:32] Daniel: I think that covers most of the notes. I think one thing. Um, just say thanks to everyone that's watched, donated, come to events, helped out, volunteered, and there's a lot of people that put in time. in the heroes that, um, to make this all happen. Yeah. It's, it's, uh, it's cool to see, it's cool to be at the events and I know there's a lot of people working right now to make the, the start the gala in a couple weeks. Yeah. Plugging that again. [00:51:00] Um, there's a lot of people working today to make that happen and it's, uh, no small feat to make each of these things happen every year, so. Right. Just a thank you to everyone. It helps. [00:51:08] Vince: Yeah. As I say, it takes a village and you, you guys have been phenomenal. Thank you. Our village. Podcast listeners and viewers. Yep. Um, and, and for many of you who also happen to be, uh, corporate partners of ours or individual partners, um, attending the events or just donating in general, we really appreciate what you guys are doing to help us out. Uh, we, we're not here if without you guys, so, um, thank you for doing that. Please continue and, uh, and then spread the word. Yep. Yeah. And it's the word, word of mouth. Yep. Typically trumps referrals, just a lot of other marketing efforts, so, yep. Um, yeah. The more the merrier. and we look forward to seeing you guys at, at the events in 23. Um, and again, if, if you have any ideas for us to improve the podcast for connections to other guests, whatever, whatever, hit us up in the comments or you can find, you know, send an email to contact us@herofoundation.org.[00:52:00] Either way, let us know.
