This is Ashley with budgets made easy and the money mindset podcast. Today. I want to talk about getting Amazon gift cards for free. Yes, you can get Amazon gift cards for free.

So I'm going to give you just a couple of ideas and ones that I use. And then I'm going to a link to a blog post that has like 30 different ways that you can get Amazon gift cards for free. Now, keep in mind, you don't have to do all of these wages. Find a couple that work for you that you can remember to do and just stick with it.

So the number one way that I love to get Amazon gift cards is with fetch rewards. And I'm going to link to all of these in the show notes as well. That'll direct you to the link to download the app. It is so freaking easy to use, and you can use it in conjunction with other apps.

So all it is is an app that you scan your receipts. You can also use it with online purchases, which is why I love it because most of my points come from Amazon and Walmart, grocery shopping on line. So you just hit the receipt and it will load through your email. So all of your receipts to go to your email, it scans them and gives you points for them.

It's super easy to redeem them. Once you get to a certain level, it can be like $3 in points, $5 in points and up. You can save them, but you don't have to, like, you don't get like extra rewards. If you save them, it's actually the same. So you can scan your receipts, get your rewards. And then you just hit redeem rewards.

You pick which ones you want. You can get Amazon gift cards, there's tons and tons of other things that you can redeem your points for. It doesn't have to be Amazon gift cards, but since that's what I'm talking about today, that's a, and that's what I use it for it super easy. You get your gift card within a couple minutes of saying that you want to redeem it,

and then you just load it to your Amazon account. Super easy. It is my favorite way to get free money because it is free. So they also give you points all the time, like extra bonus points for like just uploading any receipts. So if you go through the drive through, or, you know, you just go to, I don't know,

some random store that, you know, typically you don't get rewards for it. They'll give you just like little bonus points for uploading your receipt. So I know some people use Ibotta. So it's similar to that. And you can use both apps if you want. I brought it to me is way more complicated and I don't have time to do all of that stuff that I boated makes you do in order to get the reward.

So I love fetch rewards against budgets made easy.com/fetch. Now, some other ways that you can get a Amazon gift cards, a big one is by doing online surveys. Now you're not going to get rich doing online surveys, but you can make a little bit of money here and there by just going online and filling out some simple survey. So my favorite one is survey junkie,

but there are other ones as well, like valued opinions and pine cone research and places like that. They are popular. Like you can look up reviews. I will link to some in the show notes as well, but you can do lots of different online surveys to get rewards. Another one is Rakuten. So Rakuten, you can get Amazon gift cards,

so you can go online. It's an extension with your web browser. So it kind of attracts you while you are shopping and you can get different rewards for that as well. Another one is inbox dollars, which is similar to swag bucks. So they offer a signup bonus for getting started and you could reward get reward, gift cards for completing surveys and other tasks.

So it's very similar to swag bucks. If you've ever tried that. Now there are other lots of apps that you can do surveys and look up different ways to make money that way as well. Another one is instant GC. So it's a site geared towards rewarding users for watching video shopping, searching the web and completing surveys. So there's lots of different websites that you can go on and do different things,

play different games. They're basically like testing the market and kind of their do. You're a research subject, basically with all these surveys and different things that are out there. And they re they pay you by giving you like rewards and Amazon gift cards or other gift cards. A lot of these places, you can choose your rewards. And then just Amazon,

because it's so popular is one of the places that you can reward and get reward gift cards for. So there's karma, there's valued opinions, pine cone research coin out app. Like there's so many different ones, sweat coin app. Misplay like, you can just do all these different things. So another one is personal capital, which I use as well.

It's a finance app. I like it. And now use it for tracking like my net worth. So you can connect your accounts. It will show you like your total net worth. Now there, that's just kind like their free thing that they do. Their main thing is working with you on your retirement and making sure that you've saved enough for retirement and that type of thing.

So they give you like a free console and they have other products based on retirement, but their free app where you can just kind of like track certain things with your finances and with your accounts is free, but they will give you a $20 at the time of this recording. Anyway, they will give you a free $20 Amazon gift card for signing up with their free app.

And I will link to that as well. Cause I really like personal capital and I use it all the time. Actually, another one is cap Tierra. It's a review site for software allows you to review software for a variety of different organizations for different types of software. Many of these range from like accounting software to 3d CAD to assessment software. So it just kind of depends,

but this allows you as a user to receive a reward for providing your opinion. So like I said, like you are a research subject and most of these things and you get points and rewards for giving them feedback on their app and different things like that. So earn, earn obli is also a site that's like Swagbucks so it's surveys, different tasks, watching videos,

things like that to get rewards receipt hog is kind of like fetch rewards. So it's another receipt app and I'm sure you could use both of them. Like they wouldn't know that you were using both of them. So you can definitely do more than one of these things. So you can get up to a hundred dollars per receipt in there are monthly sweepstakes that you can participate.

And so up to, I highly doubt that many people are going to get a hundred dollars for a receipt, but it's similar to fetch rewards where you can upload your receipt and get rewards back. Be frugal is a site helping you to get cash back from over 5,000 stores and they offer a payout via a different way. So, you know, it could be Amazon rewards.

It's, it's one of those you get to choose your rewards just like the other ones, but you can get Amazon gift cards there as well. So it's, you know, different things where you apply the browser extension. So it's kind of like honey and Rakuten where you shop and it gives you rewards by tracking your purchases. So there are many other ways to get gift cards.

Another way is the Amazon trade in. So you can actually trade your items, sell your things to Amazon, and they will redeem it for a gift cards to Amazon. There are also loyalty programs, kind of like credit card rewards program. So I know with like my credit card rewards programs, you can decide where you want to get a gift cards.

And Amazon is one of them. So that's what I typically do because we on Amazon so much that I just get Amazon gift cards for pretty much everything, because I know I will use it. So look at your, like your banks and your credit cards and see if you can get any rewards for that as well. And keep in mind that sometimes those expire like one of mine,

they only keep their rewards for six months. So you need to redeem them. You can also sell other gift cards that you have. So there are places online that you can sell your gift cards that you already have, and you could then go swap them or trade them for Amazon gift cards. Of course you want to be mindful of how you are doing that.

You can do it via Craigslist, Facebook marketplace, things like that. But you know, you want to be able to check and make sure that everything is legit and it's not a scam. And there are certain websites that you can do that as well. Coinstar so you can take all your coins and redeem them for an Amazon gift card as well. If you don't have a bank that lets you do that for free,

like my credit union, lets you re go and they have a coin machine and it's free, but I know a lot of banks don't have that. So if you are somewhere that has a coin star where you take like all your loose change and put it into the machine, I believe some of them are like Walmart that you can do that. You can get those in gift cards as well and Amazon gift cards.

So just be mindful of how much information that you're sharing and make sure that the site is legit and that you aren't being scammed.

The places that I talked about today with all the different surveys, you know, those are all popular. They're not scams, but you know, there are a lot of places out there. So be careful of what information that you do give, but these are a great alternative for different ideas on how to get free gift cards. So let me know,
