Things one that 3000 miles away and to do with. These are expensive is it's a stupid, expensive hobby. Don't amount where she should. She's right outside the window so she can hear any of this. Yeah. Yeah. I'm starting to notice that I've only I'm only one hundred dollars in. I'm like I only have like six figures. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's the problem is that would wind up spending six figures did. It's like it's stupid because it's not just you're not just spending on the models. You get the paint, you got brushes, you get all this shit like look at this dumb shit. I have got these purple iridescent beads that put on the basis of my character. It's like I'm just like, thank God I don't do drugs, because if I did, I would be the biggest drug addict. I just like I find shit. I like I'm like, yes, all in. Give me all of it. You know what I mean? That's good. Note revive. What's up, everybody, welcome to the Overachievers Gaming Podcast, I'm your host of Asteroid, as always, Bash Pastrami Schiff Cerrado is off today. He's gallivanting around Miami, I guess, trying to get the coronavirus or whatever. He's just like, don't take it up. What did you do about it? I don't know. It's another it's another world, you know. Yeah. I don't know why you would do anyway. No, he's he's got family in town, so he's not spending time with them. And we have joining us from the alternate reality podcast is Darwich. What's up, man doing? How's it going, guys? Welcome back. Welcome back to, I guess the second occurrence, I suppose, right, is if there is a second or third. I thought it was third. Yeah, hootch. I mean, third, while I was away on work, I thought it was Hootch Kim. Yeah, yeah, that's right. Hooches, I remember I know everything blends together now that I have now that I work from home and like literally every day just feels the same. So yeah, I couldn't tell you. Like, what's today? I don't know. But time is irrelevant. You can find us on Instagram at Ojito podcasts or Twitters over Cheevers PR websites, OJU podcast, that if we get this episode, every episode where we talk about video games, Warhammer and what we're playing and what we're looking for, I'm trying to work on that intro a little bit. When you're doing three, three years and you're doing great three years in, and for those who don't know and I totally forgot last time. So this is episode 60 for us. The last episode 59 nine was our three year anniversary. Believe it or not, we've been doing this for three years. It's kind of crazy that it's three years. So it's actually it's wild to think about because it's been it's been a pretty fun ride. Right. And then in three years, we've done some really cool stuff. I've had some really cool people on, you know, have made some great relationships out of this, went from, you know, it being such a prominent game about, you know, prominent podcasts, about like specific games or whatever. I mean, like this game. Yeah. Oh, you're wearing it? Oh, no. How dare you? That's really funny. I thought it would be funny to wear t. It is funny, I could put mine on shit. Just go get a happy, even funnier actually. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it's just it's just fun. He's going to get it. Oh, he is going. Oh. Oh, no. Oh, there goes to do that on Twitter. No, no. You're not in a hot tub. That's true. He's not in a hot tub. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my God. We just we just come we've come full circle, just like now you're here. Now you're the odd man out, hootch. That's all right. I wouldn't put on a marble stripe for sure. He paid me. Well, maybe, you know, they kind or they didn't pay us, but they just sent us a bunch of money to say I was so upset because they sent they sent us free stuff, which is awesome. And in the boxes, that was a what I thought was a little bottle of champagne, but it was just it was sparkling apple cider. Funny. Anyway, you can catch us live as we record this touchtone TV slash ogee podcast as well as. I don't I don't have a YouTube channel set up yet because we still need thousands subscribers, I think we're like 400 now. So anyway, we should go check our website. Click that YouTube button, hit the subscribe button so we can get there. Subscribe and notification button FM show, as well as at the the bill. The follow on twitch. All the fun stuff you'll know when we go live. Where do you post our streams on? You do? I do. Every every every. I just download the twitch and burn up on YouTube because I love that. I love Edge, which has that. You get the the bad. Yeah. Yeah, it's great. Hootch, tell us where people can find you in EHN aren't often so. You know what? I come in again. I totally forgot what our discord is, but it's I mean, it's discord and our belief is what it's called. But we are on YouTube and you can easily find this on YouTube. The copybook alternate reality. Yeah, but like every single time I do this, I'm going to get stuff. I'm going to get the info and then I forget to do it and I won't write it down. So next time would be like, this is where we are. But yeah, it's alternate reality. And yet we can Google search to find this easily with YouTube and come join us on this as well. Yeah. Yeah. Big fan of you guys always like having you guys on the pod. We still have to have is your third member. I'm blanking on Hebrew. Ever had them Hebrew. So we haven't had him on line yet. So we'll you get you guys technically have kondu. He is your Hebrew. Like he fits that role. Yeah. I mean it's that it's that like I have like takes weird takes on things and like the way the thing I love about Hebrew is like he has an idea, he has a take on something and he will dig his heels in and be like, nope, this is what I think you're going to change. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Josh, every single time I watch you guys and I watch your interaction and like kind of fondue is your key, but you need that yet. Do you ask how many hours do you like what your eye rolls per minute when you talk to Hebrew? Because mine's about my about I got two, two, two e r pounds. The RPM's. Yeah, I think it depends on what the subject is. If it's anything regarding like classic stuff or old shows or anything like that, it's about 50 items because he's just he doesn't he's young. So he doesn't know a lot of the old stuff. Like when we were talking about what's the silver Fox and Thunder Cats and Masters of the universe and all the other stuff and and how the main character is named he man just like his whole thing about like why would be such a masculine, double masculine thing like this doesn't make any sense. Like, dude, did you? You don't know. You don't get it. So, you know, going on to like younger people who who, you know, with older stuff. I was watching this this big streamer who I'm a big fan of. He was doing he doesn't play any Diablo games, but he he, I guess, was sponsored. Shrem for Diablo two is Pan Diablo two when she's never played. And he's like, oh let's let's switch to the classic Asema looks like and he turned I was like oh my God that's so garbage can anyone played this blah blah blah. And they do. This game is older than you. Of course it doesn't look to what your standards are because you young. This wasn't you know what I mean? Like. Yeah, it's really funny. Yeah, exactly. It's such a funny like. Not a case study on new versus old games, but like, yeah, a lot of games don't look good because they're old, it's old technology. Like that's like wondering why a movie from 1940 doesn't look as good as a movie from twenty one like. Yeah, well actually that's argumentative because that's a school like that's one of the things that we kind of have to preface with Hebrew when we talk about a movie. That's all that's really good. Like look, the special effects are from the 90s or the 80s. They're going to be terrible in comparison to what we have today. But you're laughing about it, though. I actually don't think using movies now. Now, I don't think using movies is a good comparison because there are some older movies that even with Oudeh, the special effects still look really good. Yeah. Star Wars Starret Drastic Park is, I think, the best example, dressing park a green. And a lot of it was practical. Still looks great, looks possible. I remember sitting in the movie theater when Jurassic Park was released and the first time they panned away from the Jeep to show you the dinosaurs for the first time, it was I'm like, I'm getting chills right now. Just just remembering that moment. You're like, oh, my God, they did it. Yeah, they look real. Did. Yeah, it did. It took Triptykon it down. Yeah. Well, it's it's a Hummes and it's actually I think you actually you can. Actually, in terms of the fun fact with which copyright rule, you can only just not play the song, you could if you have a guitar, you can start playing the song if you want to. But like you can't just straight up replate. So you get home, you can do whatever you want. You can't play the released version of the song. Yeah, I actually I never followed up. The only people I feel bad for when the whole thing started happening were like people like DDR streamers or like guitar or streamers, like whatever happened with them. Yeah, I don't know. That's a very interesting thing. Very good question. Because like like people on Beat Sabor right now, it's a big thing for me. I love Beats Over Beats. It was great. Yeah. Yeah. Unless you're Metallica and you can't. Yeah. Metallica's ruins everything actually is Metallica's fault. All this all this started, I would argue, ever since their takedown of Napster and how how like Napster, bad, venomous, they were attacking anyone that quote unquote stole their music. Some of the richest motherfucker musicians playing it. But yeah. Yeah, they were. I speak to real quick. Speaking of that, I saw this thing. Where was it? Dave Mustaine was talking to Lars about him being kicked out of the band in the world. Kicked out of the band? No, Dave Mustaine was. Oh, and that's and then he for Megadeth. But it was just like listening to the conversation. It felt like Mustaine was blaming everything on them for being kicked out. And I'm like, bro, you were the one doing the drugs and not paying attention and stuff, but just listening that whole thing. But when you mentioned like when you mentioned how much of a holes they were, was like, dude, that's totally feels like that conversation. Like they were pretty much. I feel like you can't be a rock star and not be an asshole unless you're Watts's black from the Foo Fighters. They're just the nicest person. April Fools. Nicest person on the planet. Premiere. I hate Dave Grohl because every time I try to play anything that he did in like rock band on the drums, I can't do it because there's the double or triple taps. And he's. Yeah, that's why I hate Dave Grohl. That's really funny. Not for him. Not for him because of his personality, but the fact that he's actually a good musician and he's exactly he's a good drummer and I can't do his drums on arder expert or whatever or rock. I'm going to I started ArcTanGent there. I'm so sorry. What's her role playing these days? What would you guys got going on? I'll let you guys go first, because I haven't actually played a lot lately. You haven't played anything. The only thing I played is actually because it's funny. It's about, you know, this is you know, this is a gaming podcast, right? Oh, yeah. We didn't talk about what kind of gaming, though. That's true. We didn't we didn't specify interview. Every every week is always a Warhammer game. It's funny because I've I'm sorry. Honestly, like I totally forgot about Back for Blood. And who messaged me like, oh, I have a code. And I'm like, OK, let me try it. Then I realized that I already did already like I was doing the alpha, so I got in the beta anyway. Yeah. And yeah, it's funny hooches they oh here's my esteemed code. Let's play blah blah blah. And this motherfucker's off line 24/7. So I was like, OK, I told you I was always invisible. I know you do. You did promise you didn't visit. You did. So, yeah, payback for blood that was just going on. I think it's funny because there's only two other games in that genre of the zombie shooter. Now, you got Leford had two and then you have World War Z, which I actually really enjoyed World War Z . And have you guys played it? I played it actually. Surprisingly good, really well done. More so, because the mechanics in that game of the zombies, just like being pretty much like a flow of rats, is awesome. It's good how they do in the movies like series A Tidal Wave, the zombies come in you. It's terrifying. Really funny. Back for Blood. I really enjoy the card system and the abilities you gain from that. And like structuring how your character is in a game based off of like strategically picking the cards you want. Like I was heavy into machine guns, faster reload speed and ammo capacity. So I just like just. Yeah, mowed them down. And it's always a good place to do it again. Well, this is for the get control problem. So I thought that was fun. And the thing I messed up, though, I messed up. I didn't try doing multiplayer and I watch a lot of shroud doing backflow and multiplayer, which was hilarious. Oh, yeah, single the whole time. I didn't do any alginate. Oh, no, sorry. I see multiplayer. I mean, Merce's versus. You got it. OK, I was doing multiplayer with the campaign stuff, but with the Vurt I didn't try versus mode, which did look fun. I just didn't. Yeah, I feel like I would have wanted to do that with friends over. Yes. Yeah. I can't imagine. I mean, the shroud is destroying everybody. He must have been. Well, he was playing with really good people, obviously. And regardless of how good you are, it's all about your communication and that they're just it's there. They were playing verses in back for blood, like they were playing like a pro ball game. And it was like, okay, guys, calm down a bit. Yeah, I get it used to. And you're on the biggest dreamer's on the fucking planet. Go down a little bit. It was fun to watch, though. Super fun to watch. Playing of about in that game is definitely a crapshoot. It has to be done, like to really get a good experience. It has to be done with a group of people that you have to you have to communicate what you have to communicate. Yeah, you do. Especially if you're humans, almost certainly because it's like I'm I'm Pind, I'm I'm hit or whatever. Like you have like you have two zombies. I think it's a little more forgiving because there's a lot of chaos. But you like communicating with them, too, is awesome because you're like, OK, I'm charging and now I'm beginning now whatever. You know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. But yeah, like, look, you're right. That's why they won't do it. Say like I didn't want to do it alone. I'm like I'm not I don't want to be like, of course. No, my luck. I'd be one. The asshole Rondos that show up against Stroud's team, you know, I'm on stream and they're just like, you know, I feel bad. I actually felt bad watching like like people who got matched up against Stroud's team. And you've not had a good time, you know, or they're just destroying people. And I'm like, oh, my God. Not dying at all. Absolutely destroying. But I mean, they lost to, you know. Yeah, they lost. I mean, you know, it's again, if you have a team that's communicating like. You know, but it's also I think the versus is really where you get to see how the card system works well, for sure. Because then you can have specific roles on each team. Right. That's important at first. You're the one who's healing everybody. You're the one who's going to make sure everybody has ammo and stuff and that you're the one you're just our main goal. Yep. Yep. I always go with the card that allows you to hold two primary weapons and then it gets better. When you stow one, it automatically reloads. And then I would do weapons a lot faster. So it was just like, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, I'm switching weapons and I'm never running out of just frickin being able to do that with like the combat shotgun and some kind of assault rifle was like, you go to like that combat shotgun. Like just like ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, boom. And just like. Yeah, yeah, well done. I like the game as well. I did I did get some bugs, though. Really? Yeah, mostly in campaign. If they started the campaign and there was no one to join my party and I was with bots, if people joined, it wouldn't finish the level. It didn't restart this game and finish level. We'd have to because the bots would still be with me. Yep. The other people would spawn. They'd be their spawn like in the beginning or just like somewhere like not with me. And when they came the Boston disappear and the bots weren't in the safe room, it wouldn't finish it. So we had to be up. But the trick was you get to go out of the safe room and physically push the button. It was just a stupid it was a stupid bug that I make. I feel stupid. Yeah. Yeah, I did encounter that. And the other one also was at the end during the tally screen, the names. That's something we swap on the models. Oh yeah. I didn't. I notice I do. I like playing like the the dork with the glasses, dude, like the like the Armin or whatever. Yeah, he's my favorite. He's funny. Like it's a stupid mike. And every time we finish the game, I was always the short little girl. She had like the red hair thing in the baseball cap. As always, her. I was like, mean, that's I hate to give a shit, but it's just like this is a dumb this is just dumb bugs. I'll figure out. Obviously, I've been breaking, luckily. And that's not what you get at this point. It's like this isn't a major bug. Not a big deal. We'll fix it later. Yes. Or before release kind of thing. Yeah, but I think the game is well done. Very well put together. I'm excited to play it. And in that same vein, I don't want to like if we're just talking about I want to leave, I don't want to leave the conversation on that. But have you guys seen the trailer for that aliens like wave game? Hmm. Oh, no. It's it's it's, you know, these zombie games, but it's aliens and Xenomorph. That's actually kind of cool. Yeah, I'm really it comes out, I think at the end of the month I'm going to play the shit that you're talking about, the one with like based on the Alien franchise. Yes. Yeah. Aliens Fireteam, it's called. Oh, yes. I did see a video on that. It looks awesome. I'm a big fan of that franchise. It just sucks because every game they ever try to make from aliens is never good. It's never alien. Isolation is good. The isolation was good. You're right. And the aliens were eager. Yes. The early one was tons of fun. I think it was actually pretty fun. Yeah. Yeah. Did you do a lot of multiplayer ooch on that? I tried, but I kept running into issues where because I was on a team without any coordination or something, that we were just getting ready. Correct. There were some where it's like, oh, the you know, the survivor cleaners lasted four minutes. You guys went a minute and a half like, OK, if there's no way we're going to. We know for sure. I love it. I mean, it was a lot of fun doing the work because I really wanted to get a group of people together to be able to play once a game come down. I say we definitely try. Oh, yeah, that a little bit. Absolutely. That's why I am coming on. Are you on? Are you? That's what that is. So I put in the yeah, I put in a group like I mean, I was like, hey, I got I'm going to hop in on this. Anybody up and then like I did. Yeah, I'm just yeah. I don't think that far ahead ever in my life where you're using discord on your computer, just hop in and just say, hey, I'm playing, hey, I recognize my downfalls. OK, I you're just saying like you need to win. So therefore communication is the winner knowledge. I'm taking accountability that I'm a big old Ding-Dong and being better from here on out. What's your biggest fear? I mean, I did get a chance to play with two and I play with bass and I played with Hebrew. I mostly played with Hebrew. And I had a couple of games I used to play. Don't go to the shooting range with that guy in your camp area to see will murder you. This friendly fire in the camp area, in the camp area. If you go out into the shooting range, yeah, oh, I don't know, which was a weird thing to do. All of a sudden I'm standing there and then my screen like Weirds Out. I'm looking above everything. And I go, what the heck happened? And he's giggling because he killed. He like kill me with a machete. So then I go back out there again and then he's throwing grenades at me. All right, dude. All right. I get it. It's bad. Geez. But it was a lot of fun. That's I mean, that's that's I've definitely had those like giggle moments. Like when you're like back when I was playing Fortnite and they had like the custom battles or whatever, like you could actually like fight your friends and like the like. All right, we're going to try to do this like it's player match. You're going to do that. And like I just turn around, hit somebody in the face with a shotgun. Just thought it was hilarious. You know, that's first of all, I can tell you, it's funny you mention Fortnite, because my brother and I, he got me into playing Fortnite recently. I was always like, nope, I played it, not touching it, although I don't want to do it. And he was like, oh, I'll do just just play. We have fun with it with a group of guys that he plays with. And so I got hooked and he and I were playing like off and on throughout the week. And we came up with a really mean thing to do, which is to grab one of the spaceships that are in the game, pick up somebody who doesn't have a weapon yet, and then leave them hanging there as my brother, just shoot them while they're incapable of moving. That was one of the things we just did. Or I'll go pick up a shark and drop a shark on somebody. But that's one of the things I did mostly this week was people on Forni. Oh, have you played the original game? Like the real game is actually really fun. Yeah, I know. I and I knew about the game when it was like an alpha and it was what was that third person tower defense game? And I'm like, well, let's go. And I think it's still there, right? You can still play the main campaign. It's just now the battle royale mode is what everybody thought about. But yeah, I remember playing that. But yeah, this is actually kind of cool. Maybe I'll play this. And then I heard it was moving the battle royale out of a game up and it. I actually really like the original game quite a bit because it's a lot of cool strategy and I really like it. I'm terrible at building. I cannot I cannot build my life. Meaning neither? Me neither. It's that that's like the next level kind of thing. Like, yeah, I can shoot pretty well. I'm all right with that. But then you come across players that are good builders. Yeah. Now I'm done. I don't know what I'm going to do here. Hopefully I can blow your stuff up and maybe get you if you come out to get me, but. Otherwise, I'm done. Yeah, we have a friend of ours is on the party who's been on Pod Upshaw, who's just like he's professional Fortnite player. That's what he does. He streams and he's just he's just look, I watch his streams. I'll watch him doing stuff. And like, I don't know how you do it. It's like it's just like I mean, if you do something day in and day out for hours on it. Yes. It's a speed at which some people can build stuff. Like, do they got to be using a Mac or something because they all seem crazy. But that shit is that it's slower now. It used to be faster. Really? Well, because now you have to click every time to build something before you can hold it down. You keep all of them. You still have fast built. They know that they got rid of that unless it came back. Well, no, it's an option now. So like if you hold out the wall, you just hold the mouse button down to build. You spin around. It'll immediately build everything. I could have sworn they got rid of that like forever ago. I mean, that's a little knowledgeable. I am a fortnight, you know. Oh, yeah. Like I said, I didn't even know it wasn't a thing before. Like you. Yeah. Because there's a minute where they tried to do like a small nerf because it was just too much. I mean, I guess people people probably complain enough and they're like, OK, yeah, OK, we'll make it an option now. Yeah. Because I could just sit there like you're trying to build something, just mashing on your mouse. This thing's going to be easy to miss a wall or a floor or something. And you're trying to build sensitivity. Yeah. If you have your to be cranked up, you can just hold the thing and then everything just builds real fast. Yeah. And you can just switch between keystrokes and whatever and just like build a tower and like five seconds, like, OK. All right, well, I'm going to go just quit the game now is too much. But yeah. So I really enjoyed Back for Blood as well. I, I played I played it on PC and has five kids. Is an open beta going on right now? If you're watching this and listening to us live, you can actually play the open beta right now on any console you see until tomorrow, Monday, the 16th is when it stops. So I don't know what time. I'm guessing midnight Eastern Time, but I could I don't know. I'm. Yeah, definitely. Check it out if you haven't. It's it's it's honestly it's a lot of fun. So playing it on normally I'm console. I love anything on console. I played it on PC and console. I prefer the PC version. Yeah. Yeah. They just felt it just felt more organic. Like I'm not I'm not a PC shooter at all. Like I do not like PC. You know, I do not like playing first person shooters on PC whatsoever. So I was like very hesitant against it, but it felt very slick, very natural, very polished, I want to say, on PC . And like I felt like I could actually control things more ahead. But I was doing more. I was able to like actually like pinpoint my shots more and there's a lot more bugs. And S5, then I notice on PC, like I didn't really run into really any bugs on a on PC file. I ran into like bots, not moving bots sticking on like spawn points and like not coming out and not really doing anything just like literally spinning around in circles like that would happen a lot had a lot of issues with matchmaking, even though it's it's cross platform, there's a lot of different weird shit that I wasn't like really I hadn't really noticed a PC. And I played I played for a couple more hours after you and I stopped that one, that one day huj. So I'm like, I really dived into it. I did the whole campaign over again from start to finish. Wow. Just to kind of experience that. It was it was fun like I was. I did it I did it once. OK, cool. I don't want to get too involved because it's a beta. All my progress is going away. But don't want to get you up to. But it was I mean, I really I don't know. I really enjoyed it. I know it's coming to Xbox games past, which is great. Now, do we know if that's coming to Xbox games fast on PC or is it just Xbox? I believe it is PC as well. Yes. All right. So I'm going to play it on PC then. They have games fast. So and then once it comes off games past, then I'll buy it for five, then I'll play on because for you guys, Trevis, you know. Oh, yeah, exactly. There's still an Xbox Games past, but still it's not the same. Not the same. Yeah. No, I hear you. You're if you're if you're a trophy, maybe I get those trophies. I mean I am. That's the reason why this is called the Overachievers game. Oh, I know. That's what I remember. What was it Kando challenge you to get to? What was what game was? That you guys are playing an evil or final fantasy. No, no, no, it was it was, ah, the most recent. That's what it was. It was the most recent resident evil where he challenged to get like because he's like, I'm playing. Yes, I'm going to play that guy this. And then, you know, I got all the way to the very last trophy, which is like get like double ass on mercenary modes for every mode and for every level. And I, I probably put 15 hours into that. And I was like, nope, not doing this. And it's just the serious mode can suck it. Not interested until they until they make that easier. You literally have to be perfect with every like timing wise and like making sure that everything that like you wait until like the last possible second to like shoot a zombie or likin or whatever to like to keep your keep your counter going. I'm like and there's like a lot of levels, like some levels like if you screw up and like like a level five on like one mission and you try to restart a restart you all the way over again. I'm like, I'm not I'm not going to do this. It's not worth that's just torture. Why would you do that? It it's it's bad. And so I'm like, I'm not until they fix it, which it probably won't I'm not going to attempt that trophy and all anymore. But that's fine. You know, maybe if I get bored one day, like, all right, I'm going to revisit this and like, nope, this is why I stopped doing. Yeah, that's fair. But I'm looking forward to back for blood that comes out in October. Right? I want to say. Yeah. Yeah. So it's interesting that it's it's coming out in October and they just did their beta now. So I guess it gives them two months to fix things. Yeah, well, they had a really long alpha. I remember that Alpha was open for a bit, I feel like, wasn't it? They've had several alphas and that was that was OK. Yeah. That that was what they they've done several up to now, like if they had won earlier this year, I think one late last year, and it was another one before that. But I missed that's probably what I'm thinking, that I'm promising a multiple offers. Yeah. Yeah. And somebody asked in a chat, well, the Xbox PC passed me Crossway with other platform, though. That's the problem. I mean, I think it will be it says cross platform. It's going to be cross platform. It's all cross platform. They wouldn't they wouldn't make you pay for a subscription. And they were like, nope, you only limited to play play with people on that. That's bad. Yeah. And I have to say, I like that they're doing this sports like cross platform, like especially for a competitive. No, I guess Adobe like a cooperative game play like it makes sense, right? Like why limit it to one platform? Yeah. So if you could do the other thing I found is that didn't have a lot of problems. Well, when I was playing on PC with other platforms, even connecting to them, playing with them, it was it just all seemed pretty good. Well, I think we're going to see specifically with Microsoft, we're going to see this a lot. A lot of the games are going to be cross between Xbox and PC. That's like going to be their thing moving forward and like play with your friends regardless of what on your Xbox or PC. And yet. You know, PlayStation has been a little less about that idea, as we've seen in the last couple of years, but I think. Like Xbox may not have the the the console exclusive that PlayStation has, but they're going to make like availability their main thing, I think, you know, it's smart. I think so. You know, I think they recognize that they're in a cool position between, you know, Microsoft being what makes Xbox and also like what you're running your piece most people around their PC on. So it's like. You know, let's make this availability more easier for people, I guess, I don't know. I mean, they don't have the exclusivity now because they still have like but that's the agreement that they're going to deal with. But after a while, you're only going to have those games on Microsoft. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, true. True. Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if they do. The first six months of the new Elder Scrolls game, only Xbox or PC. Oh, yeah, you see. Yeah, that's I mean it's probably they probably won't up. I could see that being a thing because they're like I mean you say like say like money too much. Sony has put that on Tesla. Skyrim on Tesla. I'm I'm honestly just waiting for that happen and I would never leave my car. That sounds well. Yeah, you can play the game in your home better than you like. Yeah, that's funny. Dig down. What was inside the console? I mean, that happened. I think so, right? Oh, I don't know. We're not at that level yet. Or you could be playing video games while driving a Tesla. I'm just can't. No, you can't. It told me at that. No, I'm saying no. I mean, like I don't think that at the safety level of being there yet. No, you can't you can't drive and play. You have to be parked. Oh, interesting. You shouldn't charge. I'm sure there's hack's. See, there you go. While you supercharges. That's the that is the point to do it. Because you could keep our journal every five minutes. Yeah, there you go. Yeah. Forty five minutes if you're going from zero to four. Yeah. Yeah. There you go. My, my, my brother on the title over here, I talk a lot about like this. The way to be able to go cross-country with supercharging and something like that was one of the concerns I had. Like, well, how do you charge up what happens? If I thought I was doing the network super easy. It's like I always tell people who have that exact same question, like, well, how do you do like long trips and like, well, you just plan it out and you just like stop instead of like driving all the way through, just plain maybe leaving out an extra hour early or something like that. And you just drive you like find a supercharger, which are typically in a lot of like rest stops. You just not plug in and go get a coffee or take a piss or whatever or get a snack and come back to your car. And that's been 15 minutes or so. And then your car's like halfway charge, you're fine. Here you go and take one. He actually here's a tangent question. Same question on video game related. Me and Mallory had the management girlfriend who, by the way, we had this conversation the other day. Current gas combustion vehicles, you know, they have alternators. You're driving the the rotation of driving causes. You restore electricity to do whatever you need. Bubala, why doesn't exist on electric cars? Why do you do? No, but I mean, you need to charge it at some point, though. Why isn't there? Why isn't there a generation method where there is real? There is, but but it's the breaking usually that causes that generate regeneration, right? Yeah. Yeah. So as you led off the accelerator, it'll slow and won't do regenerative braking. So it uses the force of the wheels to actually regenerate. The problem is, it's not enough right now to. There's not enough force being generated to charge the car effectively. Sure. OK, that's that's. Yeah, interesting. OK. Well, yeah, good talk about that every day. But also with the alternator, too, like the amount of power being generated back to it still goes to the battery. Just keeps battery charge. Yeah. No. Is it? I'm not a car guy. But isn't my understanding of the alternator, though, is it's it's the dispersion of the energy that the battery is charging because the battery can't push it out that quickly. That and that's what. Yeah, that's why you have the alternator, right? You guys being too smart. You don't like it, OK? That's not just my basic understanding of what that hey, two billion light years ahead, I'm like, oh, car turns on. Good. Good job. Actually, my car my currently my car is not doing good right now, which is Okano. Turn on bad turtles around that. But car turns off when slow down. Yeah, but that's why when usually when the car does it turn over, would you have power. It's the alternator because the alternatives, the one that's that's taking that power and punching it up to get everything to turn on. I don't know somebody smarter than me who knows more about cars. Please check me. I hate having a car. It's been a lifesaver the last year because we get out of the city, you know, like going hiking every weekend has been the nicest thing on the planet. But I hate I hate cars. I hate cars. I really do. I think I wish public transportation. Well, I'm spoiled because New York has New York public transportation. But, you know, that's what would always help make me hesitant about leaving the city is because there's not many of the cities in the country that have as good of a subway system and bus system as New York does, you know? Correct. But OK, so sorry. Thanks for answering the question. That's fine. I can do just fine. Yeah, I'm looking forward to playing that. What else? What other games? I'm not playing literally any other viding Internet besides that in painting my dumb little piece of plastic, that's like fine. So I'm I'm just sit back and man my head from here on out. All right. You can hosten. We'll be fine. This will be the huge investment. And the other game that was playing, I should literally playing right before we started this. And I actually still have it up and running right now because there's no safe points at the moment. Is the is the ascent. Yeah. You guys have like, OK. Yeah, I saw not played I think last episode we had I think it Hellfire, I think told us about it or somebody in the chat told us about this. You could try it out right now. Games pass. It's on. Huge pass. And I was like, all right, cool. And then I saw he'd play and I was like just watching him play one day because I actually had like a minute at work. I was like, oh, you know, I'm going to check in on Twitch your streaming, check your streaming. So I was like, oh, and then I saw him playing it. And then he was like, all right. This kind of gives me like the fallout vibes, like kind of like not like just because the isometric and like the world building and whatnot. But yeah, I know I probably played it for two hours or so. Oh, cool. I'm very early in the game. Like I just equiped like a chest piece and I'm like doing the side quests for the first time. And it's fun. And I have to say this, honestly, this game has more cyberpunk vibes than cyberpunk. Yeah. In my opinion. Yeah. So I played a little bit of it and I agree. I do, because it's because you have like all the augmentations you have, like the little abilities one, two. Although I'm running into a first world problem and I didn't have this issue of acrobat blood or with New World, but I'm I'm running into this problem. So I had like this screen monitor right here. And I feel like widescreen monitors have been out for probably five or six years at this point, longer than you. So whenever I have. So the game is wants to run in a six by nine scenario. When you run it in widescreen, it zooms in on the game like significantly where like the character almost fills the entire screen like top to bottom. So the whole point of that game for the ascent is to be able to see what's going on around you. Like if if I played in a resolution which like five K by 14, 40 on this monitor, then like I can't see anything that's going on, but I want to play it watching him. So I'm forced to play like a twenty five like twenty five sixty by fourteen, forty like, you know, 16 by nine crops, whatever. Which is fine. But like just it's just not like I want to be able to play for widescreen. But like, why wouldn't you just give me the option, like to zoom out or anything like that? That's definitely a first world problem. And it is, first of all, the complete. You know, like with him, I wonder if it's because your monitor like goes like an extra step. What I have I also have like a thirty four inch ultra wide monitor, but I didn't see that problem and I was playing it. I'll try it. Try. So I found that if I just did windowed at like twenty five fifty or twenty five sixty by fourteen forty, it would be like like properly scale essentially. It's like like it's ideally it's like isometric. It's kind of like Diablo style and like you kind of like you can kind of see that field of view. As soon as I did five K. I would like be zoomed in all the way and I couldn't see shit and like I couldn't see ennemies, couldn't see where I was supposed to go, any of that stuff. So it was kind of annoying. But like I said, first of all, problem. But what did you think otherwise? But otherwise, what no black would say otherwise, I'm having a blast with the game, I really I really enjoy kind of like the has very much like a Darksiders Genesis feel to it, which I like a lot. What did you think of the difference between being able to elevate and lower your aim with you? I thought it was kind of awesome mechanic, because I like that you could like hide behind a cover and they pop out and shoot, OK? I wish that. I wish I had control over that elevation a little bit more other than just like. Right. Mouse click. Yeah. Like I just change the button or something. Yeah. Yeah. Or be able like aim down or whatever. No, but I know I thought I mean obviously just released the right mouse button, so. But that works. But I like the mechanic because I always find myself aiming up anyway for human enemies because you stun them faster. But so far I've only done I've only I just got the ability to like upgrade a weapon. And I haven't decided if I want to do that yet. So but I'm I'm a big pistol fan because it's like I'm just like click, click, click, click, click, click, click. All the time. But I need to go back and play. I think I finished the first like major mission and then went back to the big city area and we just kind of wandering around there. And then it's the cities and like the environments are gorgeous like it and. Yeah. And there's like so there's so little detail like so attention to it, so much attention to detail in that game with all the little things of like, you know, the cinematics are gorgeous, too, and it's just like is everything's rendered in game yet. And it's just it's it's a beautiful game. And I was like, it's really has I've been trying I've been trying to play a bunch of different games on games past lately, just because things we recommended last time, I've been just trying out different games and nothing really caught my eye except for the ESAT. So I've I've tried to like I had that. And what else? So I well, I saw that wastelands on there of the person I love wastebaskets. I have a state of state of decay to go to play next to try. But you mentioned that I just I just remember that I was waiting on an off road dirt rally game and I can't bear the name of it. Now, that was supposedly coming out. Rally, I guess, was rally. Was that what was called that rally, which was a symbol of that reign? Yeah, well, the snow runner had placed snow runner just like, you know, you as a truck trying to drive through snowy, snowy conditions. Oh, my gosh. Sorry. We were mentioning about cars that I forgot to mention. I downloaded the demo for Car Mechanics Simulator just off there. I got I've done well and our umbrella simulator games. And I just wanted to see what it was like. Like how much simulation does this go into? Does it tell you? Are you like turning everything or because not knowing anything about cars is one of the things that I've regretted. And like I can't fix anything. But the game is mostly about like I'm learning that there are tools and there are things that you can do, like, well, hey, when you change the oil in the garage is the big oil canister thing that it drips into for like tires. You have the thing that you can put the wheels on or the tires on to the wheels and then balance it. And I don't even know. I've seen these things. I didn't know what that's available. So it was it was interesting to see that it the most, it'll tell you was the location of parts, how to access them if they're like covered by like a different part or something. But that was just in the demo. Also, I don't know how much more detail they go into the actual game itself, but it didn't feel like I could walk out of there and be like, oh, yeah, I can totally fix that. I just pull this thing here because there's other technical stuff like, you know, balancing performance and other things like that you have to get into for when you're doing these kind of stuff like I knew nothing about. Overall, though, I'm like, hey, if you want to try to get your car mechanic on, not a bad game. I mean, there's like a simulator for every any I was watching someone do lawn care simulator the other day. There's more than one. Mona Mona Simeulue on lawn care, have you played goat simulator that games vanitas oh. It's just so really those games are more they're more they're just vehicles for just chatting than they are. The people aren't on their watch. They're going there to talk to somebody, right? Yeah. I mean, it's it's kind of like a chill. I mean, I played the farming simulator because I was like, I'm going to try this. I was going to try this out and I was going to be like, I'm going to make this my thing. And then I never did it again. I remember I was definitely I don't know, it's kind of fun, relaxing, but like I was supposed to be relaxing, but I was like, you know, there's too many steps involved. And like I already don't follow steps for like stuff I have to do at home, sit here and like pay attention to what it is I have to do to make sure that the corn grows properly. I'm just like, you know, I have so many projects to do at home. Like I feel like I feel bad not doing those when I like following these steps. The most flak in Catalist Simulator is the truck driving one. And it's really just it seems like dudes with like a crazy like, you know, driving real wheel rig, driving this truck, just talking. But the all their their trucks have like billboards for actual sponsors of this dream. And I was like, hey, y'all, we're going out of here. Bring in a McDonald's shipment to driving 3000 miles and blah, blah, blah, blah. By the way, check out McDonald's while you're at it. Just like, dude, you're just a commercial man. You had screaming, you're dizzy. Yeah. You're just playing a commercial right now. It's so I went in a rabbit hole of these truck driving simulators. I don't know why. And that's I was just like it was just the funniest thing, I think. I'm going to have to check out the Limani Simulator, see if thank God I will. One hundred percent extreme. That sounds hilarious because I mean, I don't cut my own grass. I have a robot, Ormy, so don't worry about it. So this is really funny. Oh, yeah. So playing that that's the scent is great. If you haven't checked it out on games past it, it's free on game's best. Definitely recommend it. It's worth the install and play for a couple of hours, even if you just like, you know, a half day of play. I definitely recommend it. What else are you playing? Huge. Well, still playing more future evolution. Same. I'm just doing my daily log in. Game. Yeah. That game you can't majali you're firing me at the guild, but you get a life. I've not touched that game and so on. I, I for some reason I keep coming back to it. I don't know why yet. I'm still looking for it. It's not me. It's just but it's I keep asking myself like, what is the objective? Why am I going through the process of trying to upgrade my characters? For what reason? Right. What is the thing that I can apply the upgrade to? Right. So if you think of a game, it almost feels like an MMO. But in many cases in an MMO, you usually have like an end game raid or content or something where an increase and improvement to your character result in progress. And I'm trying to see where is that progress? Other than fighting, doing better in a mega war. Right. Or being able to survive and and fight more people off in dark zone. But what if PvP is not my thing? Right, as a as a TV player, where is my incentive to upgrading my characters? And I feel like the answer to that question is there is nothing. Yeah. Personally, it's like I mean, I'm just doing it for like, OK, this is a fun time killer. I'm just going to do it until it comes out on iOS right now, which is like two weeks. I'm really just like I'm just doing my daily log and just doing all the costs that I can do. I really all the blitz's that I'm doing, I'm just hit audio and I go, oh, my character die. Oh, well. And that's just trying to like I feel shitty for the people who I've worked with. But like I'm not touching the game. It's like you're making it funny, making the fight harder for us because you just keep. I know, I know. And I'm like, but I'm not paying one hundred. Krystal's to revive became crazy. But I'm just I'm just just playing it just a log in and have fun with it. So I think that's the other issue is maybe die. That's funny. But the other issue I have is the economy and the game, like the reward structure for things that you do. It's not worth the amount of effort. For what you get that like, I think they're neat and because the game is heavily r.g when it when it comes to dropsonde things, you need to have more drops more frequently because you're not going to get the specific thing you want. So if you're going to have to go through three rolls or three upgrades or whatever it is, if you do that, then you need things to happen more often, like more like diabolo, right. Where sure, you get that legendary that pops up and you had that moment of good what you know. All right. Well, it's just going to go back into Foder and hopefully the next one that pops up. Right. But did you still have those moments of where that primal, legendary possibly like, you know, and even then it could be like this is a weapon I don't even need. It's like it's not even hard to like, oh, I've eaten like like I was looking I was trying to find some like different hydra. What's it called? Like set pieces or whatever, like the original pieces. I was like, all right, cool. Like I spent one hundred bucks and got that like where you get the six star chess piece or six piece and it was Adobe it just be so like I spent two days crafting the like, you know, maybe like 20 different costumes. And I was like, yes, I got a I got a regional piece for Hydra. What is it? It's the Chesapeake SARS-CoV-2 six star. So I'm not going to be doing that. So yeah, I'm using Storm in the hydrous set is one that's really good for her. I have I've I've seen one the entire time. And that was the helmet, the head piece. You get you get progressing through campaign. I've got nothing else from hydrous. Not even not a regional, not a brand, nothing. We have the crafts that I found out. You can't you can't just look for the drafts. But still, every craft I've been crafting like specifically focused on Heidrick crafting, and I haven't had a single hydro piece drop. Yeah, that's super frustrating. Super frustrating. Like what? At what point are you like where do people are going to like? What are you going to do? Like how do you how do you dangle the carrot in front of someone who's like, oh, well, if you craft this for a month, you're going to get it like but if you have multiple characters that are out, it's actually like there's there's six or eight out right now and that you like when they start adding other characters, which I'm assuming they're probably going to add like maybe three, a quarter or maybe one a quarter. I don't know, maybe the a year. Who knows? Yeah. Still, it's like you got to figure out how to get people excited about doing all this stuff, but it's just out of hand. You had another character, and it's like one we to go back to the campaign again. I don't wanna do that or do something different. Yeah. Oh, well, I mean, I know the black desert. They added a whole bunch of like different events, like there was a whole like mini games and things that it add into the actual world to make it more interesting. And they have like seasonal events, that sort of stuff. That's why I like that game quite a bit, because if you like, just wanted to focus on like crafting and gear and like actually have your your workers go and do stuff for you, like you could just work on your your home base. And that was kind of cool. Was like all tailored to your own style. You could set it up however you want. I was going to read. Yeah. So that was a big fan of that game. But either way, it's just I don't know. We'll see see what happens. Yeah, it's and as Stan was just saying, is the only big exciting thing is upgrading trade to feels like which is fine. And I think that's crazy to me is you can fail those upgrades like I'm sorry, I was waiting a week to get enough materials because I'm waiting for the daily rate reset because no one else, no one else will do any other any of the other agencies the daily through the day. So I had enough materials finally after a week of doing stuff, and I went to go craft it and it failed. I'm like, what? That feels bad. Yes. This is this is this is terrible. I mean, go ahead. I was really hoping it was going to be on the level of black deser, which blocked Hazard's R&D, but it's not like you can still progress in that game. In my opinion. But this it started it's going to turn into like, OK, this is going to be a daily thing. I just do on my phone quickly. I love awesome characters, blah, blah, blah. Not really interested in playing it outside of that right now, which is a bummer because I really like the game. I like. Yeah, I like the graphics. I think it's all fun. But like it's just like like you said, there's no there's nothing to do. Once you hit Endgame and you're playing it on the emulator on the PC, right? Yeah. I'm not playing on phone. Yeah. That's the one thing I think that people are getting exposure to. If you're playing it only on emulator, you're not really seeing how gorgeous the game can look. If you have the right Android phone right now, this thing, it the visual quality and just the performance of it is so good. It they went for triple AAA looking game and it looks that like a triple-A game. But I think going back to the idea of like the specializations, we're still attaching that question of why are you adding the specializations, why are you creating your or changing your characters spec or whatever you want, blow it out, build whatever. Why are you doing all that? To what end? How were you applying that? There's nothing to answer that question, just nothing to apply to. There's no progression to be like, yes. Now I see myself getting better. Maybe the did do what was it, the daily challenges or whatever it was, the ladder system that they have. Like there are this the game runs right up to so many potential, but so much potential, like so many things that they can do spec ops that you could totally flesh that out a little bit more. And that would be a great peevey thing. You know, even the the challenge like that could also be another thing for you to raise. That could be another thing that could be like there's just so many different ways that they could push this thing. And just if they go make a right decision, it can be amazing. Well, we'll see. It needs a little kick, you know, maybe they're working on some stuff, but this is also what the launch is about, right? Gathering are the soft launch is about gathering information, seeing what people are talking about. Correct. We're just like, you know, impatient and had to have played first. But then also, I'm glad we played it first that way. I'm not like, you know. Like another word burned out on it already, but like, you know, it's like, OK, cool, this is fine. Tempered expectations and that's it. So we're still playing it. So that's that's a bonus state. Still playing with. Yeah, but I'm not going crazy with it. I think the game is great the way everything is. I agree. Everything you guys are you guys said. There's just something about it. I think they just couldn't hold me. I don't know what that was, but I fully recognize, like especially the mobile game, like what an intensive, extensive, rather mobile game. Right. Yeah, something about it. I don't know. It's going to hold me. I think. I can't put my finger on it. I don't know. You know, but I reckon that is good. One percent. I you know, what I think actually Withstand just said they might. They need to embrace the Amamou side and make a legitimate married's, I think, because I didn't know I didn't get a consistent sense of what I was playing. I think that might be what it was. And I think if it was just a bit more MMO feeling, maybe a little more structure to that, because Mimos bring a structure, a very good, consistent structure. And I think that's what may have lacked it for me. I really didn't have ideas of what I was doing, why I was doing it, or where I should go next. I think that's what kind of I mean, yeah, there's like the paths that follow you from mission to mission, whatever. But yeah, I don't know. I think that may have been it. I think maybe in making it embracing a little more of the MMO side, like Black Desert online. There's a really good job of giving you that consistent structure that MMO brings. I think that feature evolution was very close, but not it fully for me to keep me to keep me going. Yeah. Yeah. Isn't it interesting you mention that, because a lot of what the character design is that you've got Captain America, you look at it like this is a tape. It's he even has tank protector, protector type abilities. But the game doesn't give you anything that requires you to use. That storm has an area that increases everybody's dodge, but you're not required. So each character kit has something that benefits the group. But there's no push to be like, I have to use this in this specific situation or situation. Yeah. So you're going in going, hey, we need X character to make them valuable on, you know, particular fight or encounter or whatever it is. So you don't have those mechanics in the game. And I think that's what it's missing, because it feels very much like an MMO. Yep. Very good point. They're going to play it at launch, so. Oh, yeah, I'm still going because I'm hoping to see that they take some learnings from, you know, from the soft lunch. So I'm going to give it a shot once we do get to go, because it'll be right around the corner way. It's two weeks away. 5TH. Yeah. So 10 days. There you go. Ten days away. The sticker sticking out for 10 more days. Give it a couple of weeks after that. See what if they come out with like a road map or something and then maybe see what they do? Yeah, I hope it's not Avenger's again where it's like, oh, no, don't we're not doing any more content in, you know, giving you a reason to do end game stuff. No, just keep taking your characters to make this supposed to have a patch that comes out like this month ago. Yeah. With well, kind of like the Conda sausage. I saw a video of somebody who got a hands on preview of it, and it felt like more of the same great singleplayer content, more gay, but nothing, nothing for like multiplayer, really nothing for end game. So you just need to take another character through a zone and leveling them up. But then when you get to the max, there's nothing else for me to do. Seriously, they put the game on the shelf. What would a case study in how to not make a video game? Yeah. Wow. Yeah. It comes out Tuesday to to it. Yeah. Like as in like in two days or now. Yeah, but it's true. Right. You're not. That's a free update when I play it. Yeah. No, no, I agree. I play it too. But it's good. Well, I mean, Black Panther. Oh, yeah. Awesome stuff. That's how bad the game I thought was. I'm culturally obligated. I'm sure like everything you said was I'm sure it'll be nice. Singleplayer was good stuff. But then after that. OK, old game done, you know. Yeah. Speaking of DLC, Charlie, have you done the Valhalla as a screen DLC? I believe the pictures of there. Yeah, I know, sorry, you caught me at a in a weird spot, I wasn't expecting a question. So as soon as I drank some Gatorade. Zero, sponsored by. Are we? No, not at all. That would be a good Segway, though, if that was the case. But you know, it is you who is sponsoring the podcast, Newb Energy. You can get 15 percent off your any order of neuve energy drink at a new podcast after you do or use the promo code 15 for 15 percent off any energy drink or any order, not just energy drink, any order you want to OJU podcast FM. There you go. That was a good segment. Did I tell you I tried to order and it never arrived. Wait, what? I think it was an issue with UPS. It was during the middle of the pandemic. And I think it was a problem with ups like losing packages all over the place. And I think it's actually fun. I tried to reach out. It was I think by the time I just gave up, like I only 15 dollars. I'm not fighting, but it's it's too much effort. But yeah. And I totally forgot about it until you had mentioned that. Oh, that's right. Well, we know we know the owners of AZO will reach out and use a free ones. We'll give you some free newb. Free new go. A dubois'. Yes. I swear to God Baladi knows I'm recording right now and she's doing everything that requires noise. She just blended something. She used her hairdryer and now she's putting away the recycling. Why are you doing that right now? OK, it's funny. We could hear. It's great. Yeah. Right now, the recycling is the only thing I've heard so far. Oh, yeah. Because I muted myself earlier. Oh, OK. Is Donalds respectful? And I sit there like also. OK. Sorry. That's not like we do this every week at a certain time. It's just like it's just it's just fun. Yeah. Okay. No. Yes. Wow. Oh, good timing. Good timing. Oh, my goodness. Yeah. Have you played the Assassin's Creed DLC? Yes, I play the Drude, the one in Ireland. That's I say last because I built it. I was like, oh, this is fun. And I was like, oh, yeah, I realized why I don't like this game anymore. So it's fun. I noticed that the just released The Siege of Paris, and I want to play that so that I think just got released this past week and I have it downloaded. I just haven't had a chance to put it up because I've been really busy trying to schedule this video. So once once next weekend is over and done with, I'll be in post-production and I'll have to worry about any of any stuff. At least for the first video, I have to. It isn't going to be it's gonna be great. So I'll check in with them. So. Fairness, I played through the whole game, right, but I haven't done any of the expansions because I just I just I think I played too much. Yeah, I did, too. I put one hundred nineteen hours into the game to parliament, and it took a long time. And I liked I like what they were doing in Ireland. I just play the game too easy. And I was like, OK, I just want to get through the story and see what's up with this. Yeah, it gets interesting. I like all the story aspect of it. I think it's really rad. But like I just it just the story's lost in like the terrible mechanics. Yeah. So it just really took a huge step back in the Assassin's Creed mechanics, just because they've always done awesome stuff. So I'm hoping the next one, which will probably be in two years, is definitely not coming out in 2022 unless I'm wrong. And or I'd say say that coming out this year. Probably trying to. Yeah. So I'm hoping that whatever one they do next, which I think Damu sent, it might be hinting at an open world games as a service game. Yeah, I believe that might have been like I remember I remember I remember I sent it as a member of what I didn't impress any. Telesis hasn't read anything. Oh, Charlie, click. Now, I personally I'd be curious to see how they would do that. But a games as a service. Assassin's Creed. Sign me up. Yeah. Hundred percent. I will play the shit out of it, something like. The vision style. Ooh, something like that, you know, that kind of open world, you know, you're now an agent of a stago or something like that, facing off against the assassins or whatever. I'm 100 percent on board with that, so. But AC Infinity, yeah, I'll I'll play that all day long. Like I ask Japan, you got that would go to this. It's a fantastic game. You haven't played it. I actually I just remember that. I have. I forgot I had your PlayStation. There she is. I need to play that game. So. Yes, you do. Yes. Yes, you do. I do as well. I started it, but I never finished it so good. It's so good at platinum and I screamed like roaring 20s. Sounds. Kind of interesting. You mean like he does say Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Oh, 1920s. No, it's like 1880. He's saying 1980s are like that choice during prohibition in 1920. Yeah, that sounds hilarious, Tommy. But then which he would you would you be for the mobsters or for the pro pro prohibition or against it? Like what would you like knowing knowing Assassin's Creed, you'd be a mobster and the cops would be Templer. But it turns at the end of the monsters where the Templar all along or whoever. I don't know. Yeah, that's how it is. Yeah. Yeah, that's probably what you're. There you go. Or you can just you can go right for them. Or if you want to, I'm sure you do a better job. You know, I think. What's that? The writing was bad. It was the gameplay was the mechanics were bad, right? Yeah. Yeah. Just it got repetitive. It's like literally within the first 20 minutes of the game, you would know what you're doing for a hundred and nineteen hours. It is so funny because like with Valhalla, you know, got to wear four and made Vikings so hot. Right. Yeah. And then the Hulk and I was like, oh, you know, Vikings, they're cool. It's like, oh, I guess not. I don't know. I kind of forgot it were five. Yeah, that's going to be read. Oh, my gosh. So speaking of so let's segue to our last segment real quick. I actually have two things. What we're looking forward to a news or do a quick thing because we are in an hour. What are you guys looking forward to that's coming out? You're looking forward to got to five. Go back to for blog. Absolutely. Fire teams, I think, is really exciting. Halo five, hell infinite. Infinite coming out, I think, into the years. And I think there's actually a lot of good stuff coming out soon. There's the new Warhammer Real-Time Strategy. At some point, like in the next couple of months. Yeah, there's a lot of shit coming out, I feel like. I think on try own definitely on check out a few of that things I'm looking for, I mean, I'm not looking for a developer, but I'll play I'll play The Avengers DLC because why not? Obviously, Marvel Future Evolution comes out in today's Back for Blood. And and actually New World just got pushed. Yeah. A month, which I'm actually engaged with. Right. We play and I know it keeps saying it was a broken record for what we're looking for do like Battlefield, New World Order stuff, but like also in the near future. You are or not? No, I'm not. Well, I, I have a personal issue with Battlefield because I've worked so hard line. Well, yeah. Yeah. It just it's the same thing I have with with like sports games, Madden and stuff like that. Like I spent 10 years, 12 years at eÉ. So every year I had that game shoved into my face that I had to give up vacations and then time with family and things like that in order to work on those games for now. And it's kind of like mad and screw. You don't care. And then those kind of the same things, just like, you know, all the time took away from me. And it's hard for me to go back to it because just PTSD. Know. Yes. Yeah. I totally feel that I can't do sports. I should tried like the one of the free peace plus games for this month, like the tennis thing. I'm like, oh, no, what I'm doing. I tried it. I was like, I'll give anything a try. Like I was like, it's free. Sure. I'll download it. Try like some tennis card system going on. I'm like, what the fuck is this? This is like I could even control my character just playing. I think it's like like team fight tactics, but with tennis. Oh, God, it's funny. I was like, OK, well, this is garbage. Instantly deleted. Remove it from my library, please. So PlayStation tell. It's a fun game. Virtual attendance was fucking awesome. Vegetating tennis was fires on. Yeah, we tell us it's good to like you. It is like, you know, makes better sports games than anybody else. Mario Nintendo like Mario Ball. Mario Tennant's like. Yeah, Mario soccer like all the sports games are super fun. Yeah. And they're all sixty dollars. It's like my wife is like we watched like the donkey had a thing, video game donkey had it like a video on Mario Golf and it's like, oh that's cute. I want to see what I want to play that. How much is it? Sixty dollars and forty. Absolutely. But sixteen. Nope. I would say there were 160 dollars. One of them I am looking forward to coming out because I played on the switch for a hat and it was Pokémon Unite. So that game. Awesome. Oh, I can't wait for it to come. And I can't wait for Mobile to play, too. Hmm. What fun. I enjoy it. I don't know. September. OK, thank. And it's a lot of games coming out soon, but nothing like super soon outside of I can't wait till next next episode where we're talking about how much I still hate Marvel's Avengers. That's going to be. Or even better with the next episode, you changed your tune than marbles. And Crystal Dynamics is like, oh, no, we totally redid everything. Now there's rhade content and in-game cockpit and all the other stuff. Yeah, but if it's fire, what if it's fun? I hope so. Honestly, they need it. Yeah, we really need it. I mean, what a funny wish or what? You know what I mean? Like. Yeah, or what a funny. Like a. Thing, though, like me? Yeah, well, if it's good, oh my God, you know what, it doesn't suck. But if you set it on fire. Exactly. I mean, it's all that themselves. It's digital. Like, I don't want to set my fire on fire. After you've done that yourself. That's why you want McGregor. It's an interesting representation of how you can be handed something that basically prints money and then just screw it up. Yes, that's a wonderful question. Many games have the Marvel IP could be asked that exact same thing. Is there something about owning a Marvel IP that really gets people to mess the game up or something? Yeah, I don't know what that is, but something it's all worth it. All the pulling of the shirt on for. Oh, yes. About that joke. Yeah, that was that was that might have to be afraid to play it. I wrote my quick disclaimer is I still love all my friends that play that game still. So I don't dislike people who play the game. Sometimes it insanity, but I don't know the game. It's one of those things are like if you want to be on the cutting edge of the game, you want to be pushing content in the game. It's super frustrating. But if you just go in and recognize the game for what it is, it's like, I don't want to push but get a character when the character when I can, that's fine. Whatever. Otherwise, Bisco keep playing it that people have more fun. Those are the people that I see still enjoying the game. But everybody else would be like, no, I want to be on, you know, when the next documentary comes out. I want to be getting through that earlier. You know, I want to be trying to get that first character, which first comes out, the legendary whatever during the first run. That's when the game becomes frustrating because you run up against Red Stars. Really? That's what it is. You run up against Red Stars and it just kills everything. And they had blue stars yet, or is that no, I have no idea. Well, I read The Stars to Ultron. Did they finally. I think somebody told me that, yeah. Oh, God. Well, I mean, you still have what Kestral that the game with the character that just. I have no idea. I stop I stop playing in February, so I have no idea. It's almost always been a year. Yeah. So I've been six months, I should say. I think I've been OK. I don't know. I've just been I don't know. It's funny. I had I considered like making a new Apple ID, just play it, have a play for you. Play again. I was like, I'm curious to see how the new experiences just for shits and giggles. And I was like, nope, not going to do it. Not not interested. Not at all. I don't want to know that. I just like it just I mean, at that point, because like I actually really did enjoy the game, but I was like what you just said, like you're just tempted to like get the new shiny, shiny and like as content creators for the game. Like we feel like we had to. And then we're just spending money for the sake of like getting pennies on the YouTube videos and like not interested it. Yeah, me too. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that's what that's what I was just not really interested in having that sort of stuff. And it just became too expensive. It took all the joy out of it, so. Yeah. Yeah. In terms of news, there's I feel like besides, you know, everything with Activision Blizzard stuff, still, there's not much damaged news right now, right? Oh, I played the D2 beta. It's happening right now. Oh, yeah. How was it? You just write. You just reminded me it's because we talked about before about I meant to bring it up then, too. And you're talking about the streamer who just had like the legacy mode enabled. It's funny that like you like you have the higher resolution or legacy mode of 800 by 600, which is hilarious to me. But yeah, I try to it's it's fine. I mean, it's definitely brings back nostalgia, like all the sounds are back, like everything of like how I'm used to in India. I realized that like gelati was actually difficult. Like it's actually hard, like a couple of first levels. Like for you have, you know, scrolls are the ability to have like Deckert came there to do all the identifying, like you don't have gold or anything like that to be able to like buy potions. You constantly die. All sorts of like the opening of the game is like very difficult. Like you're trying to get past that first loss, like I died so many different characters. I'll probably still play it because I bought the game before all the blizzard shit show happened. And I trying to get a refund on a PlayStation is like next to impossible. Isn't that difficult? It really is, because like so you you essentially the only time I was ever able to get a refund is when I preordered Battlefront two. And then after the whole eÉ debacle with with Battlefront two, I was like, I don't want to I don't want to preorder this game anymore. Cancel my order. Like, why do you want to cancel your order? I had to like I was like, well, I want to do this like. Well, that's not a the reason you have to like cannot process your like I don't want the game anymore. Like a reasonable request. Like I don't want to of the game and play the play. The beta wasn't interested in it. I'm sorry. We cannot process. Your request is not a legitimate request to make. I'm a consumer. I don't want your product. Give me my money back. So yeah. But then I like research and a bunch of like. Yeah, if you don't feel like you block the account like they'll do like or essentially blocking your account, like I'm not having them be in my account. Over 80 bucks, though. I was like, whatever, 80 bucks. I was like, I played it, but I didn't get it right. It's hard to get. Good. I got a report, I think cyberpunk was a different. Yeah. No, no, that's the only one for sure. Yeah, I think the CD project read like they were offering refunds. I don't think like if you want a refund, like just trying to be preorder something and just like make sure that's what you really want because it's next to impossible to get it back. So how I get to code. I got the code because I preordered it on PlayStation. So it automatically came in. The beat is already there. So for everyone to play. But yeah. So it's it's good to play the sorceress. I play the Paladin and play a droid. I think I did, too, like I originally played a droid. But my favorite character in all of D2 is the assassin, which is not out yet. So it's for the better. So I'm going to be playing the shit out of that, because the assassin, the necromancer, I believe, were expansion characters. You know, I could be wrong, but Amazon's also very fond, Barbara, everybody, everything's fun in that game. But it's it's very like as Don was saying before, if you've never played Diablo before, it's not flashy. It's very angry. I mean, Java three is is better in terms of that. But it's definitely. Oh, you want to talk about news? The the the director of Diablo four step down. Yeah, really? So you a curious of how that plays out. More fallout 25 by 2025 if that 20 20 million dead. Who knows? And I don't know. I'm in a pickle because I want to play the game, but I want to see significant changes to the company first. So so we can always wait. Yeah. It's going to be a while anyway, so hopefully in the next four years when it finally comes out, the company is not a shit show anymore. Yeah, I think they should just like break off from activism and just go back to being bothered because that's where like when they got acquired, it was all the bad stuff. I mean, Buzzard's been on a downhill for a while now. Assignment's activist. Well was it. Bunji was able to do it from Microsoft assignment. Just Asiwaju. Yeah, that's the thing. Oh no. I think the problem is is is like it's industry wide. I mean it's most industry. This is power. Really what it is. Yes. And anybody who has power and money in that situation is going to abuse it or has shown that they're going to abuse it. And that's the problem. So we need to be able to hold people like that accountable. The situation that arises, though, we start talking about like boycotting and things like that. But how much are we really impacting those people? They're going to get their money regardless to what what really starts to happen is the people who are the middle and low management and whatever, when games start losing revenue, they're the ones who feel it, which is the crappy thing, because like you need to as a consumer, be able to, you know, exercise what you feel is like your your moral like responsibility. Like I don't I don't like what you're doing as a company. I'm not going to purchase your product. But the hope in that is that you impact the ones who are the offenders. But that's not how business is structured. And it just it sucks that that's the case. So we got to find a really good way to do that, which is why I'm glad you're seeing the people who are those leadership roles, the ones who were, you know, the perpetrators of these of these crimes and acts are getting released and removed. That's what we need to be seeing. Yeah, for sure. That's that's er one hundred percent on point of that. And that's and that's the same with a lot of different industries, too, as especially in the film industry too, which is why I which is part of the reason why I quit the industry from this part is just because the crazy hours and I'm very happy to see that. Like that's the main thing that's going on within the industry. People are complaining and trying to be in solidarity for all the long hours and trying to get some sort of change done. So I'm hoping it comes as somebody who's been on a high ranking. A high, high ranking official on a on a board for local 600. I don't think anything's going to happen, fortunately, because I actually has no backbone. Yeah, unfortunately, they will not strike. And because we had it, we we write in the strike three years ago. But the sunset and what I see is the fifth member of the podcast. You write first. The fourth is Malorie. The fifth is New York City. 100 percent. You're not wrong. That's great. It didn't. It didn't. You were too busy on a weekend learning that's. I'm going to blame it on. He literally he was he he was away or he like works and works for a lobbying organization and he plays in it. Would you say you play and laughing? I don't know. I don't want to be disrespectful. You laugh. He actually lives. Yeah, he he does the laughing. Yeah. So I'm sorry. Neither here nor there. Yes, that's everything. Thank you so much. Thank you so much, Charlie. Thank you so much.
