So we'd have to start nine. I saw this movie the other day, and it was like it was like, hey, if I if my employer tells me that I get an hour of lunch unpaid, can I just get my lunch and leave work an hour early?

I'm just saying, if you're working from home, there's no reason to work an hour over a nine to five would be,

you know, you can't do that have a coronary. But either way. So anyway, we are here not to talk about our lives outside of podcasting, because we do have this occasionally, sometime. Anyway, we're here to talk about video games being on fire.

I haven't played video games in a long time.

So why are we even here today?

You guys going to be? Because I played a lot of video games this year. They were, but we were supposed to have.

That's true. We are. We kind of are trying to keep to a schedule. And also, I'm going to try my damnedest to actually released episode where it's supposed to. Not three days after the fact, because I realized that I forgot to do it last time.

Fair. I mean, you know, so spoiler alert. I've been gone. A lot like most of June for work, and then I got back and I left for a lot of July for a big and a very needed vacation, and then I got back and then I had a Warhammer game that I had to build 50 more units

for that. I finally did that. And now I have no obligations to anything. So now I now I can play video games. And that's that's pretty that's pretty cool.

Now, the questions that I have for you regarding because we're going to I'm going to dove into war here because I still have.

Let's let's get let's get the nine e gaming stuff out the way. Let's talk let's talk about my Warhammer game, because I

had a lot I want to hear all about that. So for those

who are the first here's the first problem. I stepped on a guy yesterday. Oh, how did you feel? Was it worse than stepping on the worst? You want to know it's worse than a fucking Lego. Did this bruise that they come on are just plastic pieces like bits hanging out.

I stepped on that. I stepped on them. And like some of this is a bunch of weapons that are pointy stepping on. This is 100 percent worse than a Lego. But yes. So we drove to Milford, Pennsylvania yesterday.

We played you drove the Pennsylvania for game. Yeah, well, we're so we have a discord group and it's like seven of us. And we we always

going to have to get on that.

Yeah. We play in the city most time, four of the people live outside New York. And so of like, all right, I guess we have to leave, we have to leave the comforts of our the best city on the planet for a minute because it's not fair to the Pennsylvanians.

So I drove out to Milford, Pennsylvania, played a lot of Warhammer in the woods, which was really cool, like playing outside tree cover. It was just really nice. And I played two games versin. I played a thousand Suns.

K.R. Space Marines are like all super cool Egyptians. Sourcer space. Marines are Dobies as fuck, but they're not very good. Which sucks. It's not that good. I'm so late in the game and I haven't built the best army for the bank for my back.

So it is what it is. But I lost two games. It was still super fun. I'm finally learning that I think I could actually play the game now. The thing that's been the hardest for me is knowing how many dice and throw, because everything is dice oriented.

I'm shooting at a character. How many how many units are in that or how many pieces are in that unit? I have five units shooting at something that means that they're all five days because five people are shooting and you roll four if they hit if.

Oh, great. They hit how much damage they do. Okay, great. They're doing this most damage. Can your opponent save them? Great. They're rolling for saving throws. They they only see two of those fives of three wounds are coming in.

Whatever, you know, I mean, it's a lot of it's so much dice. Not to mention the fact there's like shenanigans left and right. Can they do can they use a stratagem to save this or can they do it with the fuck?

It's like a million. It's like a million things happening. It finally started to click. But like we are playing two and a half hour drive, we're playing. I finished my second game, as was with claimer. He absolutely ruined me.

He beat me like turn three.

There's coarsest. You got it. You got to give him something now. It's it's such a difficult time. It's got to give.

You know, it's funny, but claimer claimer is like the most illiterate personally. No. But somehow he knows every single rule for Warhammer that you can't read. You seem to be illiterate. Oh, yeah. You can't read or write one.

Yeah. It's a claimers a very interesting present. But somehow I think he just like looks at the rulebook. Like if this is the rulebook, he just like is this all day. You know, just staring at it as close battle, he's really good at Warhammer and he knows every rule for every fan, I don't know how it's possible

. But he beat me so bad and it's like midnight the other day, other tables going and like, hey, idiots, I'm sorry if we're driving back. As I was driving, they were drinking. I was the designated driver in the night.

I was like, hey, I we're driving back. I got I got I call this. I'm so sorry. I'm not I'm not waiting another two hours and I'm driving back two and a half hours back to New York. See, I go back at three thirty.

I fell asleep. I woke up at like pretty much 10. I pretty much woke up like an hour before we started this. And. But was it worth it? Yes. So, yeah, that's going ask you one human question. Have you started reading it?

How long are the games? I'm sorry, dude. Hours, hours. Legitimate hours. Well, depending on the size, obviously, we play two thousand point armies. So mind you, that's our army is a lot of shit. It's two tanks, a big demon engine, 30 Marines, ten Terminator's, which like our big Marines.

Ten like chaos cultists, which like these little tiny, like normal humans that like I sacrifice to bring out some demons and and like some HQ. So like the big sorcerers, like.

I realize I turn the AC off in my office and I start to get real toasty in

here, like these dudes are called HQ. These are like my these are like the guys who run the army, like these big like this, a big demon in this, like a big saucer. They like run the army. So like they have like Rs and all this shit.

So you're next to them. You could save Thrower's and do all this other cool stuff. And they have like dope powers. The problem the problem with armies and the problem with excuse like this is a demon prince. He does mad shit and he's like super strong.

So they are always targeted first. I didn't do a single thing with this guy. Just got, just got. There are a lot of teleporting, there's a lot of teleporting and more hanmer. So if you don't build your your your base out, right, so you can't teleport.

If there is a nine inches of enemy on the board, so like anywhere the board is set up. If like I have him here and I have another army guy here, you can't teleport in the middle because that's too close to both of them.

Right. So I forget this exists. So I place all my things in a very aggressive, forward position and then turn fucking what happens. And that by both times. By my opponents. Really? Oh, yes. I'm Tom. All these days behind you.

Let's go after your age. Kids like. So you basically finally got the grasp of the game, right? You're pretty much done for the day. Yeah. So next time you can have some fun with it. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Exactly.

Like when I think I have some better I have a better grasp of the board and all this stuff and how to play it, but it's super fun. So yeah,

I got to I got to get into that. So to answer your question, no, I haven't started painting. I've primed. Yeah. A bunch of units. I think I'm going to take it's taken me a long time to prime these guys, so like I think I might just bite the bullet and get the spray,

say go for it. So the nice thing for you is you have a garage. You could do it in. Yeah. You don't have to worry so much about the humidity because you have a you just have to close the garage and like get a big box to spray against or something so that you spray paint doesn't go

everywhere. I would wear a mask, too, if you're going to be inside. I got contact high the other day because I was spray painted outside when I was like the least humid of the day. I was like 40 percent humidity.

My God, I need to like this before we're going on to Pennsylvania. I ran over taking a bath and I was like spray painting, like with the box close in my face. And it just got so I was really stupid.

We had to get, you know, to get drunk, actually. What's wrong with you? I was like. I think I got an from the spraypaint. Hmm.

Yeah, no, I mean, it's been real humid here. So I mean, like I have a humidity monitor in my basement right now. Maybe even my basement is like 65 percent humidity or something like. Yeah, it's kind of. But we just we just sealed off a lot.

Yeah, well, we just seal a bunch of stuff in our house. So yeah. Now I got to go spend money on Dehumidifier. So that's well,

I mean, like, you know, three to five p.m. or so is like the least humid if it's not raining. Right. It's like 40, 40 to 50 percent humidity. I spray painted this outside the other day. This there's spray primer and it came out fine.

There's no pooling. But I was like I was like, Ping's into the community all day. That's like Fresno. If you when you want to paint plastic or resin, you have to prime it first. Or else the paint doesn't stick to the to the model.

Right, it's like it's like a weird thing. Primer allows you to have paint adhere properly to the red. So you have a primate, you can spray paint primate, which is the easiest way to airbrush primer. But you need to airbrush in a you know, in a tank on everything.

Or you could you could you can paint on like you could brush primer.

That's what I did for like four units. And I was like, that shit took way too long.

Yeah. But I mean, like the thing is, 20 hours you got really? Oh, where would you like to go? Crazy. I mean, you do it just like slather that shit on it. Just like I'm trying to get

to like every little paw and get into everything and. Yeah. Yeah. Like it's took me a lot in his first first few for me. So I'm still trying to figure it out yet.

You're trying to find the alliterate. You just got to, you know, not just Payneham. All right, so we could be done talking about Tabletop 1990 as as our ptosis famous auction with to say, why would you why would you talk a lot and play anything besides an E game?

Not a single person that I played with yesterday is five of us playing, not a single person at a fully painted army. Not a single person.

I just need to get it because I just had the neck Crohn's, I have the basement, and so I don't really know. I got to figure out where I want to go, what I

want to get. That's the thing. Did I think there's so many factions in Warhammer, especially if you're doing space Marine space. Marines have like twelve factions themselves, like some factions, because you got the blues based musical ultramarine. That's just like the run of the mill space marine.

They're dope. They're great. They do very well. They have good stuff or there's other factions of space Marines. They're different colors and they have different units. They do different things like blood angels or the red ones that are like kind of vampiric.

They're cool shit. Dark angels are like the shrouded, very mysterious dark angels are the, in my opinion, the course. Mazarine, there are space wolves that are like very Viking ish. They're like all blue and gray and shit. Is chef ish chef there for you?

It's like it's like one of those things where, you know, there's always got to be bad seeds at a company for every like good person, there's

Catering their release schedule to like say, OK, so when D.C. has run its course, we're going to drop a Shadowlands patch. And then when Shadowhare says,

OK, I just got to set a record before we got there, which is like a house that's Betfair. That's like saying, how about your mother?

Is Hemeon Indian, this guy then, Ben? So do you. Yeah, I don't know. They've been they've been like off offsetting the release schedules. And now it's like they're rushing to your five burning crusade because of how bad Shadowlands is doing.

And I don't want them to overrun B.C. because I'm enjoying the shit out of it. And I know what they're I know what they're going to do because of how well the launch for B.C. went and how many people paid for a character boost, how many people came back.

I mean, is the character transfers, yada, yada, they're going to 100 percent durak, which came because wrath was their wrath and and burning crusade. Were there 100 percent expansion. I'm not after that. It's all downhill from there. Like people will not resorb for Kataklysm.

Like that will be a fish. One was definitely like a not as good expansion, right? No. I mean, it was it was decent. Yeah, it was much better than Shadowlands is being received by its audience, but it was still not nearly as good as Burning Crusade or Grath.

And now they're talking about rereleasing Classic Year. And people are like, dude, I do not want classic again. Like that is not what we're looking for. And so it feels like they've really. I don't know, I feel like they're just they're definitely headed in a in a downward trajectory and Final Fantasy is just killing it right now

, like absolutely killing it that way. Right.

Have you played anything since then?

FAN 14 is apt, have you actually. Josh, I'm curious, though, you're. Oh, yeah, I have. I have a level seven character. I've couple of 070 characters. I'm actually about to resorb to it because my best friend is super into it right now, and I just really want to play games with him.

So I'm I'm going to fire back up and I'm going to try a lancer this time around. But, you know, the thing about Finn Fanfan for me that that I, I don't understand why it's becoming so popular is because it's like 75 percent cut, Zeins, 25 percent action.

And what what what Muser outré now besides. Well, and Final Fantasy 14. Guild Wars, two Star Wars, nice little republic. But I mean but I mean, like Newt Newar memos that are like being like, oh, nothing goes to Procrustean does do a lot of profile.

Just released like last month or the two

the two that are coming out that are going to be big contenders for newworld and ashes of creation. So those are going to be two that are coming out that are going to be pretty hot button games. And, you know, like I like and there's they're all they're all different because ashes of Creation is supposed to be

a lot about like farming and building like a house. And and it's more like, I guess, pot, no pun intended, about creation and things like that. Whereas New World kind of seemed. Yeah, I only played like a couple of hours of the work crash my PC and I just gave up on it.

But. It. I liked it. It was fine. I guess I am just a old school wowhead that just like absolutely loves what's going on right now. So it's hard for me to get into another Adobe after the fact.

Yeah. Not to mention the fact that I am trying to simultaneously get into Marvel feature Evolution, which is another MMO. It's like I can only take so many so many of these like MMO style games where it becomes like me playing Marvel, search for Star Wars, Galaxy Heroes, Looney Tunes, like I'm playing all these, you know, art

. What do you what do you even call them? What kind of game is more? Strike force. I don't even I mean, you

know, like a five

year term based just trying to play summoners war with all of them together. It's like, you know, just be crazy. But anyways. Blizzard, I hope that I'm actually still shaking. I'm still looking forward to Diablo two. But you know.

Kind of sucks. I don't really want I mean, unless that company unless something changes internally with the joint, I'm not giving Dabb for. As it stands. Granted, we still have a lot of times, a lot of time. I mean, something's something is bound to change when the warning hits, like when the lawsuit hits, there's going to be

ramifications for it because I mean, they have they have way too much evidence for it to get swept under the rug. And if it does, then that's just another, you know, another sign. The company. Yeah, Basil. Yeah. Look at this, Bazil, from our from our garden.

But I mean, I'm speaking of things that are I guess we just dove into what's coming out there, I look forward to the job I did. So I play I've been playing newworld since the alpha, the alpha. They had two instances of the alpha.

I didn't get in the first alpha, I got in the second alpha. The second half of the I didn't really have world PvP and somebody who used to love like free for all PvP anywhere in the world. I kind of liked it, although I was getting my ass kicked all the time.

I didn't really understand the PvP aspect of it, but mainly just because people want a couple of fights. But there's still a lot to learn. And also, I didn't like I didn't want to dove too much into the game just because of like I don't want to I don't want to, like, push all of us all the

way to like 40 and then be like, oh, well, there was going to reset, not waste too much time as I should do. But anyway, the game right now, if you preorder the game, I think you still have another day to play.

I think the the the the beta of right now and August 2nd, which is tomorrow. Ooh, we got some we want to do we want to become famous guys.

naturally we

certainly there's the I didn't want to like pushed too hard just because I wanted to like test out different mechanics. I test up. So I did Alpha played a fire like mage this time around. I played a sword and bored tank style character.

Quite actually. I like this sword quite a lot. So I could do a lot of good tanking. And I felt like it was more dynamic and I felt like more engaged rather than just sitting there. Press a button, do the thing, wavery animation and blah, blah.

I felt like actual engage very much. It looked very much made me feel very similar to like what guild was to kind of started with that whole action oriented MMO action stuff. You know, they have like different weapons of different things, but like you still have to level up weapons of.

Right. It was great for as opposed to having two monitors as like split between the two, I just have this one and I can actually do dual inputs if I really want to do a split screen picture in picture here, which is kind of cool.

But so I tried like the ultra wide screen streaming. It looks awesome, but like twitch defaults, it's like three sixty P or something like that. I mean, it's still technically quality, but it's still I mean, salaciously quality. But it's like it for some reason, like a bug with their software or whatever.

Weird. But anyway, in my thirty ninety I know I actually funny enough is I actually kind of want to get rid of the 390. Oh yeah. I really don't want it. So I only got it because it was better than my Taty than I had before from a couple of years ago.

I actually want the AMD 6800 so I can have screen. What is a free sync. Yeah. What the heck is this monitors of free saying it's not. I think so, because it's just, you know, I want the whenever I have this monitor turned 120 hertz, like the whole screen flickers and it's like super annoying.

Really figure it out. Yeah, it's just dumb. And I've looked into it and it's something to do with this monitor specifically. And and the 394 Premiere. Hmm. Bummer. into the game to see what it does. That way they could generate race. They can get logs and figure out stuff, so that way they can optimize and make things better for release. And that's what they're going to be doing for the next month, figuring that stuff.

I also feel like it's more enjoyable to play the game on a handheld device because it's I don't know. I mean, I don't really like playing it on the computer. I'll just be straight up honest. Like I just don't I don't enjoy it at all.

I feel like the controls are clunky. And I mean.

Yeah, I mean, I'm logging in just to get to keep the logging going. Right now there's logging rewards, and I'm just literally like I log in, do a blitz, do whatever. And while I'm working, I let it run.

And that's pretty much it. So I don't feel

bad because I know there are people in our guild that are alliance that want to have like more activity and whatnot. But I'm I guess I just like I don't I'm not playing anything on my phone right now at all.

So I just kind of looking for something to have to be able to run and play casually. And this is the game that I'm going to invest some time in. So once the global releases, I would definitely be more active and looking to push for more activity in an alliance.

But for right now, it's just and not to mention, I think that when when it actually drops in and A, it's going to have a massive influx of player base and it's going to is going to be way more people around, because as of right now, I just keep seeing the same names that I've seen for myself

. And it's really hilarious to me because I see a lot of the people that get loot or people talking in the world chat, global chat or whatever. They're all people that I've seen in myself as well. And I think that's kind of funny, but.

Definitely excited to get into it, I'm still enjoying it, it's it has a lot of great features to it. I don't like what they did in the most recent patch with how they made crafting more expensive and they just made everything more expensive.

The healing items are more expensive. They just ramped up the amount of gold that you need to do a lot of things, which I've heard that once you hit a certain point in the game, you don't need a lot of gold.

But, you know, I guess I just don't like the fact of having to leave the game running in order to farm gold to make sure happen every day. But sure, you know, I guess that's the way the nature of those kinds of games.

Yeah, well, the nice thing is, if you want to and Nick in the chat just said, I don't like it on PC, but it's MMO, I need to grind 24/7. So I'm not sure how translation the mobile work.

The nice thing about something like that, if you just want to leave it running and grinding on a computer while you work, which is what I do. And then when you want to play, I just spend like half hour or whatever playing the game.

Yeah. I mean, not to say that the same as myself when we had that before, because it must have take a completely different time frame. But like the nice thing is, I don't if it's outside of like to log in for the monthly rewards, I don't really feel pressured to play this game like like I haven't blogged

in like I just logged in just to get the log in reward. And then I close the game and that's it. And I didn't feel like, oh my God, I have to do my blitz's, I have to do all this stuff and like it can.

Yeah. And also I found out actually doing all the blitz is actually generated quite a bit of money to I go from like the level one hundred all the way down to like level 50 and then I turn I got two do that if I really need to.

But it really you don't really need a ton of stuff. I wish that they would scale the amount of gold needed for items. So like, you know, like when you revive it, cost like twenty five thousand gold down to revive as supposed to 5000.

Like I wish like until you hit level one hundred, it cost a little bit amount money or it scales a certain way, like maybe from like the first 20 levels, it's five thousand for the next 20 levels, it's ten thousand and so on.

And so are just that way. It's not like twenty five thousand revive. And you have like you're just starting up the game and you're like, oh, well, I don't have any money whatsoever. Yeah. So because that kind of sucks.

You make one decision, you're like, oh, well, that's done. And well, yeah, but I've been working on just different I've just been leveling up different characters right now, just having fun with it. I mean, make up Marvel's like four hundred and twenty dollars.

and then like I have Blackwaters a little 70. I have Captain America at level sixty Hamsun. I just let it run like I just play it in the background. I let it go like I don't really worry about it too much so.

Oh God no. Who going to destroy me. So funny enough is like we've we've run into a couple of people, like doing dimensional doodles. And at this point, I just like if I'm like not if I'm like busy during the day, I'll just go and let it auto.

And I don't care. Like it doesn't bother me whatsoever. Like I don't like give a shit about when ratios are not that competitive. There's one day where, you know, we have a thing where a person in our discord, where I ran into Thor while he was screaming, which I thought was hilarious, I was even trying to kill

somebody just like queuing up. I just snatched him. Yeah, absolutely. But then there was another day where I was just like randomly doing stuff and I was my daily as I was working at work, but I was working on other things at home and I rented a hooch and he just like I even get a chance to

like do any damage. Like he pretty much just let me do all my abilities to get like a sliver held. And he just pretty much like to shut me, so. Wow. Yeah, I felt that. But also he's playing storm, so he, you know, storm is up.

You should have Echeverri if you build around it. Right. Yeah. I mean, the Captain Marvel marvels my my man. And she's very much she's not very good. Marvel is very good at PvP and one on one single target image.

She's not very good. Like she's very good for bosses, not very good for farming, not very good at. Well, from what I've found, like multiple people fighting you in the dark zone are dark dimension, whatever it is. I don't know.

It's called dark zone. Is is is not that dark zone is what the division?

No, I think it's called the dark zone. Is it? Yeah, I think it is. Because Dark Claridge's. Yeah. No, I don't think it's that pressure starts on anyway.

I know it'll happen, but like I'm looking forward to that. But not only is it going to happen, but the game that really excites me in the future and I know we've said this before. Is that Star Wars bounty game?

That's going to be made by excuse me, made by massive, so the company who makes the division. So I'm very stoked for that. I wonder where they're going to do the next division. Migaloo on the West Coast be kind of cool.

So be interesting if it was like even like a different country.

Yeah. Even better. But anyway. Yeah. So always in in Marvel future evolution like any spell catcher can do, like a lot of aole damager, an alien general is always going to do better when you're facing when you're against multiple people in a dark zone PvP type environment, single target people will do well.

But even in Omega Imig, a war like I've had some success in Omega War and enjoying it now and I'm starting to work on it. PBP Build or my Captain Marvel, I still just get like one or two shot by doctor strangers who weren't even attacking me.

They were attacking somebody else. And I just got killed because I'm collateral damage. But but so if you're going to if you're going to play the game, I definitely would recommend choosing a character who does a lot of.

AoE damage and yes, Black Widow can do a lot of damage with their snipe and whatnot, but I would just say that like someone who's played, I like Carol Danvers as a character. And so I was like, know?

Play that, why not give it a go, but I would I definitely would recommend trying an away character like Storm, Ironman, Doctor Strange, that sort of thing. I don't I haven't played star Lord like much at all, so I don't really know.

Although Marvel has some aoti abilities, but she said she has to be in meale range to use them. So I don't recommend it. They have to get close to people. And then it's pastimes. You know, it's just something I'm noticing, so that's why I'm kind of building up storm a little bit more.

I'm Billiam Storm and Dr. Strangelove storm it like 50 of Dr. Strangelove, 52. Oh, my. But anyway, the. Did you guys read the patch notes of what happened recently? No. So like if you touch base on a little bit.

So with the with the increase of like there's the gold increases, they doubled the amount of particles that you need, like the same particles that you need. Whereas like before, as much as I'm not a fan of mobile gamers stuff, he actually made a very good video that kind of outlines everything.

And if you haven't seen I think Winter posted it in our discord where they you know, he's talking about like how if you want as a free to play player, to essentially farm for all these materials and whatnot, you were able to make like four or five costumes a day or four or five items a day to

get this. Now it's down to two a day, which isn't a ton of material. And you need like something like if you want to get go from like one star to six star costume, you need like 800. Or something like that.

So it's just it's a lot of farming and obviously a lot of luck, and hopefully they'll add some more stuff in other ways of getting these costumes and getting these symp particles. But as of right now, if you do all your stuff daily, you're not getting a hold of it.

Granted, still, it's an MMO and the idea is to and farm. But just I mean, you can absolutely play the game and have fun with it without having a need to actually spend money in the game. Just like just have lower expectations.

That's what I did with Black Desert Mobile. I was like I didn't spend any money. Just took me a while learning to get stuff. But it is possible to get stuff, so. But yeah, most impressive stuff in ultimate rage I've seen so far been cat marvels and almonds.

Yeah, so like my cat marbles rex and single target stuff. So like when you do when you're doing those raids or just like you versus the boss, which I absolutely love. I love that they just skip all the bullshit.

They go right to the boss. And I think that's great for me. I just I'm a big fan of that method. And I really enjoy making Marvel. She's I'm working on a crit damage, self buff retention and ultimate skill gauge generator.

So essentially, like my goal is to always have her ultimate up all the time. And she's constantly doing it, so. That's what I'm working on, but it's taking forever the specializations, which is nice, it's just there's just takes forever to form those items, whatever.

I'm interested to see what characters that the game as time goes on.

Well, there's a hint of Scarlet Witch being the first character coming out because somebody did some data mining and found like her character model endgame. OK, somewhere. So I wouldn't be surprised if that'll

be pretty cool, actually.

You can buy like Marvel's Avengers needed to do what this game did and introduce all the different game modes that this one has. And then it would have actually have been a good game, because we all know that the biggest complaint wasn't the actual gameplay.

The biggest complaint was that there was nothing to do like it was just the most repetitive, no cable. There's no content at all. And they have a they were they were backed by a triple-A company. So, I mean, like I guess just a testament to the fact that, you know, no matter how big your company is, you

got to actually put out a good product. Otherwise people are going to do stuff. Yeah, you it's do stuff.

Yeah. Go figure. Can't launch and be like, well, good luck. Like I'm speaking of speaking of Marvel's Avengers, they finally announced that they're releasing Black Panther updates for free, I think middle of August. So in two weeks, I think

it comes out. What's that supposed to be like last year at some point?

No, that was supposed to be Spider-Man was supposed to come out December last year, but that never seemed right?

Nope. Yeah. So. And that was the selling ticket for the plate, that was the exclusivity of the PlayStation. I can't that they they definitely got gossom people on that one. They got that. Oh, yeah, Adobe percent saying it's insane.

I mean, I'll play it. I mean, I logged in and whenever they released a new character, I log in and play it and they go, oh, yeah, I forgot. This game play is fun. The story is cool. And here's a repetitive bullshit that we all did before.

So I was like, oh, yes, all the enemies are the same. All the stuff sames, all heck. I mean, it's I don't know. I just I was like, OK, I'm going to level of character to level 20, I think is 20 is the max.

I can't remember. And I was like, playing the character is love. It got them all leveled up, enjoyed it. And I was like, OK, that was fun. Great.

Done. OK, cool. On to the next game.

But either way, so yeah, so what you're saying that I still need some more in-game content for Marvel future evolution, which I agree. I'm hoping that at launch they add another mode or two. Don't know that's going to happen.

We don't happen to see a roadmap from them. Right. But I don't know what they're planning on doing, but I do know that they're trying to outside of the fact they're trying to add another character and a mode and the next order.

But I don't know if it's actually accurate. That's just a rumor. But. Anyhow, what's making news when you guys hear anything

coming out, come on, unite. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That today, finally, I'm happy. I'm having an absolute blast at that game. Like it's super good. I know what you're trying to tell. It looks good. So, I mean, I even looked at it at all.

OK, pros and cons, pros. It's a Pokemon mobile game, OK? It's very fun. It's extremely casual. The matches are either ten minutes for a regular match or five minutes for a quick match. And it's basically a game of who scores the most points.

Right. And so, you know, it's just like league or any other mobile where there's like a jungle position at the top toppling a bot lane. And I would say that at this point in time, all the characters are.

Somewhat balanced, there's two characters that stand out to me the most, Zera Oara and Ganger. They're both I play Zera in the jungle. And I mean, if they get ahead, they're absolutely menaces, like they will just absolutely dominate the game.

But that's purely dependent upon the gentler actually knowing what to do and the sidelines not taking the jungler camps, which is like. Amazingly painful for me to see sometimes because like some people are just dumb and they don't know how to play these games.

They're just, you know, it's just too early on and they're kids playing it, you know. But. I think it's amazing that Nintendo finally released a good online game and. It's extremely fine cons, number one, the items, if you don't have your maximal items or you didn't spend to level your items to the max level, there will be

a difference between you and your opponent if the opponent has Maxiell items. Now, it's not a stark contrast. It's it's definitely going to make a difference if you're trying to like one V one somebody. But my my items are really like level 10 out of 20.

And I mean, I still rank people and I'm an expert level. There's only four levels of ranked and like X versus second class is veterans, the one above me. But it definitely does make a difference. I have spent eight dollars.

I bought the battle past because I wanted the hip hop Pikachu skin, you know, but I think because bigotry is one of the characters I play that. Yeah. I mean, you get 100 levels of the battle pass for eight bucks.

Like it's it's well worth it if you're going to play the game. It's a fantastic game. The other the other con, I would say, which isn't really a con, but it's more like a gripe with Nintendo's online system.

You have if you have to have somebody online as a friend and then once you have them as a friend, you then have to add them again in the game. There's like a different friend. Tenison online is not which which.

That's a that's that's just a minor con. But I mean, the really the only thing that sucks is let me at least let me backtrack. There is one other thing that sucks. We last night, my best friend ever playing three games in a row, we had somebody that would die immediately and then just quit the game.

And like, you know, it's basically fucked at that point. Like you can't you're not going to win it for five unless you're playing against brain dead bonobo's. Like it's just not going to happen. And. Yeah, that's what I mean, it's the same way with the league, it's going to happen and lead to somebody's rage quits.

You're screwed for X amount of time, at least in this game. It's for like eight minutes instead of 20 or 30 minutes potentially, you know. So that's that's actually my favorite part about this game is the fact that the Max batch is ten minutes and it doesn't not go over that.

So you can get in, get out. You can play some casual games for friends. And it's really fun. I mean, my friends and I, we had like a we'd like form five minute four or five man crew running the other night, like one of my best friends and his wife to a friend of mine.

And we had a blast. You know, we're just fucking around. Really fun.

Great. And is that that is free to play

this free play on the switch.

Right. Right. Which they released a mobile version. Right. And sometimes I think

they're supposed to be releasing a mobile version of it. But because I mean, when I looked it up, it was originally supposed to be on the switch and a mobile device. Yeah. There was a big cross play. Yeah.

But it's very it's very like, you know, when we were playing Wild Riffe, there was like a big learning curve for you on like, you know, learning different like things, different things, nuances of league that I had already known as somebody that had been playing the this game.

Dude, you can pick it up and you're going to learn it like within two seconds. It's just not it's not complicating at all. It's super easy. And the differences like you don't have to you have to worry about farming like I mean, you do, but it's not there's not like constant waves of monsters spawning.

Like there's like one here, one there, one here, one there. Like there's even distribution of of natural monsters. And that's how you like you get XP and that's how you collect like the pokey balls that you can dunk into your opponent.
