103 === [00:00:00] Charlie: [00:00:30] What's up, everybody? Welcome to the Overachievers Gaming Podcast. I am your host, Bash, joined, as always, by Ashy. Sorry, I said it all. It's all good. Uh, also joining us in this early morning is the technical [00:01:00] aficionado, chef o cron do. [00:01:02] I don't know where I'm going with all this. Anyway, uh, what's up [00:01:04] Josh: everybody? I was [00:01:05] Dom: curious. I was letting you [00:01:06] Josh: cook. You know, [00:01:07] Charlie: I'm, I'm, I'm not an MC, so I can't spit lyrics, but here we go. Oh, that's great. You did great, [00:01:12] Josh: buddy. Welcome all one, [00:01:15] Charlie: welcome all to our lovely podcast in which nothing ever goes wrong and we stay on topic and we always talk about the very same thing we always talk about every single time, which is what we're playing, what we're looking forward to in a little bit of gaming news. [00:01:29] [00:01:30] So we are coming to you live. On the Twitch is Saturday night, uh, twitch. tv slash OG podcast. And you can also find us on the social media platforms of your choice. [00:01:44] Dom: I want the record to reflect. I messaged OSU and said we were going a little earlier. I did my due diligence and I don't want to hear [00:01:50] Charlie: shit from him. [00:01:51] There you go. Um, and then you can. Also, speaking of what, uh, Ashley Pastrami is talking about, it is the, um, you can [00:02:00] hit us up on our Discord, discord. me slash [00:02:03] Josh: OGpodcast. [00:02:03] Dom: Oh yeah, don't forget [00:02:04] the, [00:02:04] Josh: the shout [00:02:05] Charlie: out. And, thank you Dom, for, uh, the reminder, you can find us, no, wait, hold on, I gotta figure out how I wanna go about this, but, I just wanna give a very, very Wait, before the [00:02:17] Dom: podcast started, you told me to remind you about the Discord shout [00:02:19] Josh: out, and I [00:02:20] Charlie: totally forgot about how I was gonna figure this out. [00:02:23] But anyway, um, we want to say, uh, we just relaunched our patron. That's patreon. com slash OG podcast. [00:02:30] And I want to give a very good shout out to our very first member and our first Patrion long time supporter, OSU BD. So thank you very much OSU for being our [00:02:42] Josh: first. [00:02:43] Dom: Gave him a shout out. He's not even here. [00:02:44] Charlie: You know, bronze member. Yeah, I know. A bronze member patron. Uh, and you can find us, you can find that on the show notes down below in the YouTube description. If you're paying attention to this later, I don't know what's [00:02:55] Josh: worse, him not being here or squad cast this morning. I don't know. What's the [00:03:00] bigger, I don't know. [00:03:00] Let's [00:03:00] Charlie: go with a little bit of a, a little bit of B. [00:03:05] Josh: So, um, uh, what was it? Just a cat hair on chef's mic. Dude, there's cat hair everywhere, brother. Yeah, that's just the life you live when you have cats. There's cat hair there. [00:03:15] Charlie: There's cat hair on your cap there. I like, [00:03:24] Josh: I walked into this store, right, and like, I felt like this dude definitely looked at me [00:03:30] and kind of like chuckled, and I like Got kind of self conscious about it, and I looked down and realized my, my, like, green sweater I was wearing is literally, like, covered in white cat hair. Like, I didn't even attempt to, like, roll this shit out, you know what I'm saying? [00:03:43] And, and, and as I was driving home, I had this thought to myself, like, this is where I'm at in life. Like, I have, I'm 38, I've accepted that I am now a, like, I'm, I'm just like a cat dad, man. I just, I just, I wear the hair like a, like a badge of honor. I [00:03:58] Dom: either, if I'm wearing a [00:04:00] black sweatshirt, I got, uh, June's hair, which is white. [00:04:03] If I wear any other color, I'll have a mix of black and orange hair from Polly and Art. This [00:04:08] Josh: is like one of my favorite pieces of clothing to wear. And this motherfucker is always, has white hairs on it. Like, there's no way I can go in public and it doesn't have a white hair on it. Truly. [00:04:20] Charlie: Amazing. So. Let's talk about video games. [00:04:24] I don't play video games. What do we got? I don't play video games. None of us play video games. We're all in our... I play video [00:04:30] games. Mid to late 30s. I played video games this week too. Um, so we're all here to talk about video games. Sometimes if you're new to the channel and you're new to the podcast, we kind of go off on tangents, but that's what kind of [00:04:39] Dom: makes us, us. [00:04:40] I've never, I've never, I've never done a single tangent. Let me tell you something. Man. I've never done a single tangent once in my [00:04:45] Josh: life. Hold on. For real though, like RIP Chandler Bang, man. Like what? True. Homeboy. Yeah, I, [00:04:52] Charlie: I heard that last night. And no idea what happened. [00:04:54] Dom: He didn't, [00:04:54] Josh: didn't didn. No one knows what happened yet. [00:04:56] Well, I mean, you know what the cause is. There [00:04:58] Dom: were, there were, I [00:05:00] mean, there weren't, there wasn't anything found in his home. Doesn't mean that it didn't happen. You know, speculation is, can be the, the devil of us all. Let's just let you know. There's [00:05:09] Josh: definitely gotta be some foul play involved. Anytime there's drowning. [00:05:11] I feel like there's, there's foul play involved. [00:05:15] Dom: Josh, you think there's foul play involved in every, everything? That's [00:05:18] Josh: because I'm a very skeptical person. Ability to get online. Hey, dude. Josh. [00:05:23] Dom: Hey, that's not 4chan right now. Just like Chandler Bing was killed by the lizard people. [00:05:27] Josh: No, bro. It's not. Listen, [00:05:30] dude, it's not the lizard people. [00:05:31] Okay. It's the fucking nano 5g chips that y'all dumbasses got injected into your bodies. Okay. Now I'm kidding. Obviously that is pure slash s. I gotta say. [00:05:45] I feel like I got to say, I got to say slash S. Otherwise someone out there is going to be like, Oh my God, here's a rule. [00:05:51] Dom: I've actually, I've actually created an anonymous account. Whenever Josh says anything, I go in other spaces and be like, I heard Josh for the [00:05:59] Josh: Uber. That's you [00:06:00] say that's you. Yeah, that's the whole time. [00:06:03] That's you, I hate, I, you know what, I guess, I guess it's like one of the things I hate the most about like the, the arguing that goes on the internet is how like out of context, most things are taken. And that's why I like try to avoid for sure. Well, yeah, well, that's why I try to like avoid the petty squabbles with people on the internet, but you know, you can't avoid it. [00:06:21] Young, young, young chef Crandall was not so, uh, didn't have the willpower to prevent himself from clacking away at the keyboard. [00:06:30] [00:06:30] Charlie: You're just like, Oh, someone on the internet was doing stuff. Let's [00:06:33] Josh: let's fucking go. Yeah, Oh, did you hear that? [00:06:40] Charlie: Yeah, my elbows. That's what happens when you're getting old. Yeah, [00:06:44] Josh: getting [00:06:44] Dom: old. Dude, you've been old, man. You've been old since I met you. Are you kidding me? [00:06:47] Josh: I'm still disturbed that Ashley's younger than me, man. I don't know. It bothers me. Who's that? Y'all are younger than me. You're younger than me and it bothers me. [00:06:57] I don't know. It just does. There's no reason. There's no rhyme or [00:07:00] reason, baby. Probably because you're a fucking pizza smuggler. The age don't mean nothing, baby. Yeah. Your stream thing was great, by the way. [00:07:07] Charlie: Yeah. Let's talk about that. If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend I'll put a link in the description and also in the show notes. [00:07:14] Ashe's Pizza. Uh, your Italian was perfect though. [00:07:20] Josh: I'm waiting, I'm waiting for like, the tagline to pop out, you know, because, you know, everybody has like a tagline I'm waiting for. Like, it just like inherently comes out. Nah, you can't, you can't make it happen. It just has to cut. [00:07:30] It just happens. It's [00:07:31] Dom: just like one day you follow Italian or Stone? [00:07:38] I had the word for weeks. So I know whatever it was, but, uh, don't even say you're fucking the same line. You say every single time you say it's so fast. It's so funny. Uh, the, yeah, the, uh, so the hilarity of that [00:08:00] stream was every Thursday. So I work at a team at Twitch called the brand partnership studio. [00:08:09] So if you want to advertise on Twitch. Um, it's our team that makes that happen, whether it be like creating a sponsored live stream or commercial, whatever, it doesn't really matter. Um, so when every Thursday we have like a big standup meeting, like a lot of companies, like, you know, weekly, monthly, whatever, where everyone gets on the call. [00:08:27] So every Thursday. Instead of doing whatever [00:08:30] boring thing our boss is going to talk about, that's like business related, someone can go live instead and everyone from the stand up call will go in to chat and blah blah blah blah. And so, you know, we all, we're all like, we all work at Twitch, so like, usually it's like some fun stuff happening, like silly things or whatever. [00:08:46] And I was like, oh, let me try to do pizza. And I, you know, because I have a bunch of cameras, like, uh... If so, I, I, I asked two weeks in advance if I could do it and I like did multiple [00:09:00] setups with my, with cameras going in and you don't mind, I don't have like a switcher and I don't have any like way to easy to just like put all these inputs in and then go from there. [00:09:10] So I, I, I do, I like did so many different funny. Like workarounds, like so many like jerry rigged things where like my, I had multiple webcams going and then, you know, I also had this CAN 60 DI was like trying to get that working and I, I had Mallory's, DSLR, I have a GoPro, so I did all these things and most, almost like [00:09:30] the, the end accounting worked. [00:09:34] I used Mallory's DSLR, she has a Fuji film. I use that as like the y and I use my Canon 60 D as like the tight on the oven because I wanted multiple angles 'cause I was doing all this stuff. And I wanted, I have a little GoPro and I had that really like badly rigged above my, my cutting board, my butcher block to be like an overhead. [00:09:52] Cause I really want to show how you properly, you know, flatten a pizza dough out and everything. But of course, like I just mess certain things up, like the power to Mallory's camera, I didn't [00:10:00] do right. I forgot to add my, and also Streamlabs OBS has a remote control from your phone, which was, I was like, Oh, this is easy. [00:10:06] I'll be able to switch everything on my phone, like a little, because I was outside. I had all these wires running out my window to the, out to the backyard. Amazing. It's not even like move my computer or anything, which in, in, in hindsight, I wish I just moved my computer to be honest. Um, but I forgot to add like really silly little things. [00:10:23] I forgot to add my mic to each scene. So when I switched to the overhead, when I was like trying to do like the dough and stuff, you [00:10:30] know, like everyone's in chat, like you can hear me. So like, there's a lot of notes, but the, the main thing is I think I want to do that still. I think I want to like act because that was just like a 30 minute, like fun thing at work. [00:10:41] I think I actually want to do. Like cooking streams, whether it be pizza or like, like, like pasta dishes, it was like, surprisingly super fun, you know, and funny. It was just like, so [00:10:54] Josh: you get to share your [00:10:55] Charlie: passion with other people, dude. Whenever, whenever you want to do that. Like I said, I mean, I wasn't [00:11:00] joking. [00:11:00] Like, let me help you produce your stream. Like I, there's ways to do this and very inexpensively. They have like some five channel or four channel. Like HDMI switchers where you literally just doot doot doot [00:11:10] Dom: doot and it switches everything. That's probably the, the, the best way to go about that. For like under a hundred bucks. [00:11:15] So. Yeah, that's probably the best way to go about that. [00:11:18] Charlie: Um, But yeah, it was great. I quite enjoyed it. So. [00:11:22] Dom: It was fun, you know, like def, it was definitely fun. You know, there's, yeah, like there are some easy fixes, even besides doing that. Like if I just got like a [00:11:30] dummy battery for Mallory's camera so that it just stayed, because like towards the end it died, you know, and I had to like [00:11:35] Josh: lift up the GoPro. [00:11:35] Yeah, I saw the Fujifilm thing pop up. Yeah. Yeah, [00:11:37] Dom: the over the head GoPro, I lift it up, so that would be the, uh, the, um, the wide. It was, it was, but, like... All the technical difficulties weren't like a big deal. It was so fun. It was, [00:11:49] Josh: it was just learn as you go. I mean, that's what I'm doing with the, the card stuff. [00:11:54] You know, you just, I have no fucking clue what I'm doing, but you just, you live and you learn, right? Yeah. [00:12:00] I feel like it's a, when you want to get into like the whole content creation or whatever. [00:12:11] It's definitely a grind and if you, if you like it, you just got to keep doing it and doing it. And then just constantly revising. How fucking funny would it [00:12:19] Dom: be if I became like the pizza [00:12:22] Josh: streamer? Why not, dude? You got [00:12:25] Dom: the stache. Well, there's already, I had to, I'd be stealing, I'd be Who [00:12:29] Josh: cares? Who gives a [00:12:30] shit? [00:12:30] Don't be, don't be, don't be No, there's no original ideas anymore. No, there's no No, of course [00:12:34] Dom: not. no, no, I'm not saying that I would, I'm not stealing. Sorry, that's not, and that was not your word. I would be, there's already a pedestal for the pizza, [00:12:44] Josh: the pizza streamer. Yeah, but I mean, who gives a shit, dude? [00:12:47] Like, that's like saying, you know, um... I mean, there's people that, there's people that can break into it, man. There's plenty of people today that just got started not too long ago. I mean, all you got to do is you just got to be like [00:13:00] Charlie and ended up on Facebook live with fit disguise toast. And here we go. [00:13:03] Blow up out of nowhere or something, you know? So that's all because of Tom. No, I'm just joking. [00:13:09] Dom: But have any of y'all watched the, uh, her name's pizza princess G. Have [00:13:13] Josh: you heard of her? Oh, she's the girl that has the, she has the camera set up in her pizzeria. Yes. Yeah. But I mean, that's a different. See, that's, that's different, though. [00:13:21] It's good, though. Yeah, it's good. It's good. But like you're, you're talking about [00:13:26] Dom: like her dad will come and make pizza with her. It's [00:13:28] Josh: really nice. Oh, yeah. I'm [00:13:30] definitely not dogging them. I'm just saying like it. Oh, no, no, [00:13:32] Dom: no, no, no. I'm saying in general, like if you [00:13:34] Josh: haven't heard of her, it's she's great. [00:13:36] Her stream, her streams are great. There's a couple of people like that, that they are, they are, they work in pizzerias and they basically just like leave the live stream on themselves all day. But [00:13:45] Dom: like you're the problem is I, I'd be out back. So I'm. Stuck to the elements too, though. [00:13:50] Josh: Dude, you're not, you're not like, [00:13:51] Charlie: uh, Until you get the overhead stuff and then you just have yourself with easy ups. [00:13:56] Josh: It's different when you're in a pizzeria, right? And like, I don't know, man, you [00:14:00] got a, you got a pretty good personality. It's a different avenue. I mean, different strokes for different folks, man. I mean, dude, [00:14:05] Dom: Well, her stream is just her making pizza and she's just chatting. My stream would be more so like, here's how we're making. [00:14:11] This thing, I'm, they make [00:14:13] Josh: a child your own. I wanna use this, I want use this as a very dusty child. I wanna use this as a very, a [00:14:17] Dom: child. I want [00:14:18] Josh: the, the cook. I want you to hear me out. I want use this as a very obscured example. But, uh, there's a dude on, uh, [00:14:27] Charlie: do the, [00:14:28] Dom: let it fucking talk to, [00:14:30] we're gonna see smoke coming out his fucking ears. [00:14:32] Okay. Just let him say [00:14:33] Josh: his this thing on. No, nevermind. Nevermind. I, I kind of lost my train of thought. No, say it, say [00:14:38] Charlie: it under your thing, just ignore me, just ignore [00:14:39] Josh: me. There's a dude on, uh, there's a dude on TikTok, I mean, I feel, now I feel, there's a dude on TikTok, the reason I'm telling you this is because I just want you to understand that, like, even though there might be bigger streamers out there, like, it doesn't, it doesn't matter, because it is, as long as people like you, then it's, you know, then, and you're enjoying what you're doing, but there's a dude out there, the glizzy, the, [00:15:00] what is it, the glizzbot or something like that, I mean, it just goes live, making, like, Crude sexual orientations of eating hot dogs and just came out of nowhere. [00:15:07] On TikTok live, people are like sending him a little hot dog emojis, you know, cause they're like the whole NPC thing went popular or whatever dudes, dudes making like, I want to say. I think he said like four or 5, 000 a day on stream or something like that. But regardless, I'm not saying for that purpose. [00:15:24] I'm just saying like people are, people are, people are merging from nowhere and it doesn't matter [00:15:30] about like, even know that the pizza, cause there's already all these like popular NPC streamers. And then this dude just pops up out of nowhere and I don't know, it's just, there's, there's a PC streamers. [00:15:38] We'll talk, [00:15:39] Dom: we'll go in a second and [00:15:40] Josh: you know, the people on Tick Tock [00:15:43] Dom: before we get it? No, I just want to say that I know what you're saying and I wasn't saying I wouldn't do that because yeah. [00:15:48] Josh: You're just saying you guys. Steve. Competition. [00:15:50] Dom: Steep. Competition. Pizza. Pizza. Princess G is. Bring it. But also at the same time. [00:15:56] You're different, man. [00:15:56] Josh: You're like, you're like, you're like a more [00:15:58] Dom: personal level. Yeah. [00:16:00] But I'm saying like my streams will be different in the sense if I did them, it would be more of a instructional cooking. Yeah. Here's how we're making this thing. Not, I'm [00:16:06] Josh: not, you're just, you're just like a more intimate, intimate, like, uh, uh, I [00:16:12] Dom: think it'd be like the Mario Batali of, uh, [00:16:15] Josh: that Mario, but I'd rather, I'd rather watch. [00:16:17] No, no offense. I mean, maybe, maybe I'm biased cause I, cause I know you and we're friends, but like, I'd rather watch you cause you, cause you're just like my kind of personality. Like you're a cheeky dude and you're nice and genuine. And you like to interact with people. So like for [00:16:30] that, that kind of environment, it works well. [00:16:31] But I dunno, you wouldn't catch me dead sitting there watching people making pizza during the daytime. But that's just me. That's just me personally, that, that [00:16:38] Dom: stream personally. Like, because that stream is just chatting, like I'm saying, there's different, [00:16:42] Josh: don't different strokes for different [00:16:43] Dom: folks, uh, but Charlie. [00:16:46] The NPC thing is the silliest, silliest new, like TikTok and it's kind of on Instagram, but mostly TikTok because it's the dumbest, like seeing this shit live, you actually have to like [00:17:00] watch, you have to watch it. We're not going to do it justice. It's people who will put their stream up live on TikTok and. [00:17:07] When you spam emojis, they, they like react certain ways, but, and it looks like they're MPCs and video game 'cause they're all just like robotic me, me. It's just the dumbest, it's the literal thanks to the Izzy fucking thing on the Yeah. It's the dumbest fucking thing I've ever, it's like, watch videos of it. [00:17:25] It is so fucking stupid. I, no, you know what, don't watch videos of it. Don't [00:17:29] Josh: give me No. You need, you [00:17:30] need to, you need to experience it. You need to know, you need to know what the cultural phenomenon is all about. It's because it's pretty it's pretty telling that we live in the matrix I'm just telling you because NPCs are real and these are them. [00:17:43] That's it's [00:17:44] Dom: the real it's like the I do slash Yes, much. I usually don't have no I well, okay, maybe not this one. I usually don't have much of You know me. I'm a pretty optimistic guy. I think it's pretty yeah, pretty apparent by [00:17:57] Josh: yeah, did I find it? Oh, [00:18:00] dang, do you have a disdain for these individuals? [00:18:03] Dom: I don't have a disdain for it I think we live in, you know, there is no ethical consumption under capitalism, you have to do what you can to survive. [00:18:11] I was wondering when I was going to come out. However you make your money, you make your money, and I fully support literally any stupid avenue where you can make money and not export anyone. Except for this. [00:18:21] Josh: Yeah, it's the dumbest shit in the face of the planet. It is a full [00:18:24] Dom: degrade in, um, like, Uh, what [00:18:30] should be acceptable to, to act like I have way more support for like fucking prostitution than I do for people doing, [00:18:41] Josh: people doing... [00:18:41] Damn, dude. That's honestly funny. Well, I mean, sex work is real [00:18:43] Dom: work, but like, I just fully, I just fully, like, I can't... Yeah, when I see like the, the, the NPC stream stuff, man, it just is like, yo, like, this is just... Like someone watch, like there's a 14 year old watching this and is [00:19:00] getting dumber by watching it. [00:19:01] Yes. Yeah. And so, yeah, I just think it, I think a lot of things exist, uh, because of technology, uh, that kind of [00:19:10] Josh: sometimes a little bit too much of a good thing is a bad thing. [00:19:14] Dom: Yeah, the NPCs, the NPC stuff really just like I watch them like [00:19:17] Josh: Jesus it's cringe dude. It's so mega cringe. Yeah, it's [00:19:21] Dom: yeah So yeah, that's my little [00:19:22] Josh: it's funny as hell I mean, it's just like it's just I I actually wonder like who sits there and like and and I'm not sure I'm gonna [00:19:30] shame Anybody but like I genuinely I'm curious. [00:19:32] I don't King Chamber. Oh, no, I don't King shame But I I generally like I'm curious like who sits there and donates and why like what's the motivation behind it? Love love it. Is it the attention of it? [00:19:44] Charlie: It's the name getting popped up because look at me. I did that. [00:19:47] Josh: Personally, I'd rather do things like buy dumb ass shit like this, you know, um, yeah, that's fucking cool though. [00:19:52] Look at that guy. Yeah. Like it was, it was, it was hell to get this guy on [00:19:58] Dom: another note, bring back chubby [00:20:00] Pikachu. You know [00:20:00] Josh: what I mean? Yo, there's a, there's a, there's a thick Pikachu out there somewhere. It's a fake, actually, they have like a whole like troll line of fake cards. They're called like thick Pikachu with the two C's and it's all the Pikachu with like basically dumpster asses on the cards. [00:20:17] Really? Yeah. Two C's thick. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Two C's thick. Yeah. Like thick. So [00:20:22] Dom: wait, where, where, where, where the fuck were we? How [00:20:25] Charlie: did we come to here? We got this way because we were talking about you streaming. [00:20:28] Dom: Yeah. I'm going to say a long story. [00:20:30] Long story [00:20:30] Josh: short. Uh, tell us you have ADHD without telling us you have ADHD by the, by the trajectory of that conversation to where it got to where we are now. [00:20:39] Right. So [00:20:40] Dom: probably not many more pizza streams cause it's getting colder outside. I mean, [00:20:46] Josh: you can't do them in your, you can't do them in your living room. In your, no, it's a propane oven. No, but you can't like, make a pizza in your, in your normal oven. Oh, that's, no, no, no, [00:20:56] Charlie: no. I could, what I could do You come up, you can come [00:20:58] Dom: up here and do it, Dom, if you want. [00:20:59] I [00:21:00] could. Well, what I could show is how you at home could make the pizza [00:21:02] Josh: at your normal oven and wait you go, why could you not? I mean, bear with me here. Like, why could you not make a pizza in the winter time up there? Well, it's just cold. I know. But like, why not? You could still make Florida dog. You could still make pizzas, though, [00:21:18] Dom: right? [00:21:19] Yeah, of course I could. It's just fucking butt ass cold. Oh, [00:21:22] Josh: I mean, you know. It's butt, [00:21:24] Dom: like, butt cold. Like, butt. [00:21:27] Josh: B U T T C O L D. [00:21:30] Like, your shoulders time is not [00:21:32] Charlie: This is what you do, right? You have your camera set up on the outside for the pizza making part, and then you have just in just inside is you have the one single camera set. [00:21:41] Okay, we're gonna do this here, and I'm gonna sprint outside, I'm gonna throw everything in, and I'm gonna sprint back. There you go. And you get your workout in and you get a little bit of Honestly, [00:21:48] Dom: like, it could, it could be that. It would be very silly, but it could just be I run back and forth. That could be your thing. [00:21:54] It could, I could be run back and forth. Yes. That would be fun. There's also a world in which I [00:22:00] actually, cause you know, our, our, our basement is our like living room. And that is just a quick step to the backyard. I always could set it all up in the, in the living room. And so it's less shorter of a walk, you know. [00:22:15] Um. [00:22:15] Josh: Where's [00:22:16] Charlie: the fun in You want to see, I want to see you sprinting through your apartment trying to get to the pizza. I don't want to. No, I don't want to do that. No, because that's the, that's the gag. That's the gag? There you go. I'd, I'd [00:22:26] Dom: donate for that. Well, regardless, there will be [00:22:30] more food streams, I think, coming soon. [00:22:31] I just gotta, I just gotta nail down some. Some of the issues I had in the last one, one of those like silly little tripods that have like an arm out to get a proper overhead of the, with the GoPro, because this was just angled down and it definitely wasn't as good. [00:22:45] Charlie: Yeah, you need like a photography, little notes, you know, but it was good. [00:22:49] I enjoyed [00:22:50] Josh: it. Everyone should go watch it. I just pulled the chat, who says, do you not know how cold it gets in New York? No, I don't because my goblin ass never leaves my cave in South Florida. [00:23:00] Truly. Come on, man. I'm the Florida man, dude. Kidding me. [00:23:02] Charlie: What's the, what's the coldest that you've ever been in Florida? [00:23:04] Josh: Also true? Yeah. Oh, well, come on. I, you guys know, I lived in Chicago for a year and a half during the coldest winter it's ever experienced. So like I've experienced cold weather. I know you in Chicago. Oh yeah. Like, when did you live in Chicago? Uh, 2013 to 2014 when I worked at the Aviary and I worked for Grand ATTs. [00:23:18] Yeah. Um, no, I did not. I didn't. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I lived in, I lived like cold. I lived in downtown Chicago. I used to have to fucking park 30 minutes away from where we could actually get parking for the day. And have to walk. My [00:23:30] friend, my friend and I would like . Sorry. Like don't, don't, I don't, I don't mean to that I, I almost said this comment, but I, I realize like we, I don't wanna sound like, uh, offensive or anything. [00:23:41] We would wa we, we'd be like back no homo bro day. No. We'd be like, no homo bro. And we'd like grab each other like, you know, like link, link. Each link arms was so cold. Like you would, we would just like, no, no, no. In [00:23:51] Dom: 19, you know what I mean? Is you wanna be as much homo as [00:23:53] Josh: possible. Yeah, exactly. It's fricking cold as shit there. [00:23:57] Who Chicago is. Yeah. I [00:24:00] remember it was like negative 42 degrees. It was like negative 42 degrees one time. And I woke up on my day off and I was like, all right, like I got to experience like how cold this really is. Right. Cause like, I mean, my dumb ass is like one of those people you say, Hey, that's hot. [00:24:12] I'm going to be like, well, let me touch it to see how hot it really is. You know? Um, and yeah, I, within like, probably like. Five seconds. I felt like pins and needles were like stinging through my coat, you know, and layered, you know, like, and you know, when you're living and you guys like layer up there [00:24:30] and it's, I mean, that shit was like pins and needles through it. [00:24:33] I remember like I went and got a breakfast burrito from this bodega, like nearby. And, uh, yeah, that shit was like stone cold. By the time I got back, it was so cold outside. Yeah. I'll miss that. Best and worst show of my life. There you can. Um, I've been playing endless dungeon game's. Pretty, pretty cool. I, I usually, oh, you [00:24:53] Charlie: have? [00:24:53] I don't usually, usually join me and Stan on it. We should, we should [00:24:56] Josh: hop on together. Yeah, I was telling, uh, uh, I don't usually play [00:25:00] tower defense games, but, um, this one's pretty cool. Uh, [00:25:03] Charlie: yeah, give us your thoughts 'cause I have some thoughts. [00:25:07] Josh: Well, I wish, okay, so, well, the, the multi, the multiplayer is, yeah, that was my thought. [00:25:13] Um, uh, the multiplayer has a little bit of room to be desired, but I know they're working on it. It's like the developers have acknowledged that it's, uh, the, and they, and they've like actively said like, Hey, we're working on this. So I'm going to like roast them on it. But there's just like this disconnect where, uh, I have to like [00:25:30] join Toronto's game and Um, all of the, like I gained progress in the game, like I'm gaining resources and things like that. [00:25:37] But when we, I, I can't upgrade anything on my end. He has to upgrade everything. I received the benefits of what he upgrades to a certain extent. Um, I had to go and unlock the advanced, uh, modification thing on my end and then go join his game again so that I could then use the advanced mods, which [00:26:00] again, it's just a little thing. [00:26:02] Ass backwards, but they'll fix it. I'm sure. Um, Yeah, and none [00:26:05] Charlie: of the quests carry over, which is really annoying. So you can't gain personal quests. So like, if you get to the end of the game, whatever, and like, or you do the quests that you need, like, you now have to do it again on your [00:26:14] Josh: side. Correct. Yeah. [00:26:15] Like, so I haven't unlocked any of the characters, but Trondo is basically done with the game at this point. Cause we've, we've, you know, more or less. Beating the crap out of well, and I wouldn't say beating the crap out of it because we haven't uh, we got to the core game. We got to the core of the second [00:26:30] stage and um, dude, I was basically like asleep and I don't even remember what happened. [00:26:36] Um, which is kind of funny that like we were joking about it, how like, you know, it's friendly for stoners because Michael would be like, yo, just stand right here. Del, Del. Del, stand right here and just don't let anything get past you. And I'd be like, Oh, okay, okay. Cause it was like one in the morning at this point. [00:26:50] And he's like, I don't want to, I don't want to leave cause we're so far. And you know, like I don't, I don't, and I'm like, all right, all right, all right, all right. I'm like dead asleep. And, uh, we somehow made it [00:27:00] there and then realized you can actually save where you're at in the dungeon and click, uh, save and quit and whatever, and it'll save your head. [00:27:07] So we were like, Oh, fuck it. Hey, well, all right. But, um. Overall game's pretty cool. I wish there were a few more weapons, but I mean... I know the game's new, so, uh, there, there, there's, um, I think some of the enemies are much harder than the others, like the bugs, the bugs, and the bots, and the other ones are easy, but the blurs are a pain in my royal ass, [00:27:30] dude, um, we, we kind of get screwed, so it's definitely a little RNG dependent because, uh, we get screwed on, like, trying to Reset the researches because the, um, level three versions of the turrets are OP as fuck. [00:27:45] Charlie: They are. They really are. And have you done the thing where like, if you, if the waves come and you just go and call another or do a research really quickly, any quickly anyway to just have, oh yeah, deal with one wave of stuff. [00:27:55] Josh: Yeah, yeah, we basically push it as far as we can until we know it's about to spawn and then we'll just [00:28:00] pop the wave because, um, yeah. [00:28:03] It's the best way to take advantage of it. Most efficient way to play the game, but yeah, it's pretty fun. I mean, for 30 bucks, uh, I have no complaints or well, I don't have any alarming complaints. Yeah. No, no major glaring red flags like I do with games that I spend 60, 75 on. [00:28:23] Charlie: Yeah, I'm gonna, I think I'm gonna pop back in once they fix a couple of the issues with the multiplayer stuff, but, um, I got, in my personal [00:28:30] game, I got all the way down to the core, I didn't get to do anything in the core because I like, I keep dying [00:28:35] Josh: on like, what, the second, Well, the thing is, is that it has these, uh, it has the mods down there, and if you don't, if you don't disable the mods on the earlier stages on your way down there, Yep. [00:28:44] Then you basically just won't be able to do it. And we didn't realize that until we got there. Oh yeah, there's stuff down there. It's going to reduce your damage by like 50%. And if you don't like disable those somewhere along the way, um, then, uh, they're going to make the core [00:29:00] like infinite, basically like impossible for you. [00:29:03] Charlie: So you have to disable us, that's correct. Yeah, [00:29:06] Josh: yeah, we didn't. We didn't either. So we, I mean, that's tower. That's tower defense games, right? Like the whole point is that you're supposed to get to a certain point and then realize like, oh shit, we actually need to. do it this way instead. And, uh, I find some, okay, so I find that there's like probably three weapons that are OP and then the rest of them suck asshole, which is kind of [00:29:30] stupid. [00:29:31] Um, [00:29:32] Charlie: yeah, I'm a big fan of like the fire shotgun or the shotgun style, uh, weapons. Those are super. [00:29:37] Josh: Yeah. So like, The ones that suck are like the, the, uh, rail guns and things like that. The ones that you have to charge up the charge, you're way too slow. Like they're just way too slow. Like you just can't, they don't do enough damage. [00:29:49] And, uh, but then if you get like the, so I, I usually like to get the, um. What is it? The one that shoots the balls of lightning and the light, the balls of [00:30:00] lightning explode like, like in a radius. Oh, that one's my favorite by a long shot. I don't know that one. Yeah, that one's my, my ultimate favorite. And, uh. [00:30:07] Yeah, 30 bucks. I think it's a pretty good game. Um, other than that, I've been playing a lot of, uh, the Pokemon trading card game. Uh, I actually have, well, I was supposed to play in this tournament. There's this, uh, online league that's called limitless. Uh, they actually, it's not smart. It's not a small work by any means. [00:30:26] They have like a whole Bradley Cooper. Oh, yeah. [00:30:30] Yeah. Bradley Cooper's the, uh, CEO. No, um, it, uh, it's like an actual tournament league. You know, they, they rank people and they, I mean, the prizes are, they give out like, you know, online code cards and stuff like that. But, um, I was supposed to play it as this last Wednesday and they canceled it because of a maintenance. [00:30:46] So, um, I'm looking forward to trying it out this week. Hopefully. And, um, see, see if I get spanked or not. I find, Ashley, do you find sometimes, like, when you play these games, you overthink what you're [00:31:00] doing? And, uh. [00:31:03] Dom: Let me just stop right there. I overthink literally what I'm doing all the time, every time, all the time, no matter what I'm doing. [00:31:07] Gotcha. Do you think, do you find that [00:31:09] Josh: like the king overthinker, do you find that like gets in your way when you're playing Warhammer and stuff like that? Yeah. Cause I feel like lately I've been losing a lot of matches and every time I lose, I'm like this was 100 percent my fault. Like this wasn't even, I can't even like attribute this loss to the other person outplaying me. [00:31:27] It's like I outplayed myself and [00:31:30] it's so frustrating. Cause. I find that that's just like my plight with card games. [00:31:36] Dom: That's the best. That acknowledgement, though, is the best way that you get better. Because I suppose you were, if you're living, if you're living in a world of zero accountability and you're just like, well, you know, if, if they, they didn't do this or they, they, this, whatever, then it's like. [00:31:56] Okay. But what could you have done to have changed that or what could you have done to stop [00:32:00] them or what? You know? And so those ways are, yeah. Like you, you congrats, you played yourself. Um, [00:32:06] Josh: no, but if you, I mean, sometimes you pull a really bad hand and there's just no way you can win. Yeah. Yeah. The win conditions are not there. [00:32:14] And then sometimes you can pull a mid hand and you know, you can like crawl your way out of it by, you know, just outplaying the other person. But I. Yeah. Dude, there were times I just like would, would do things and I'm like. Wait, I told myself I was going to do something different and then the turn [00:32:30] came and I did something completely different and now I'm looking at a loss and I get acknowledged that it was because I had a plan. [00:32:37] I didn't stick to it and yes, [00:32:40] Dom: my biggest thing is I am overly aggressive in Warhammer. So if [00:32:44] Josh: you know that about me, oh, that's my, see, that's my fault too. Yeah. I, yeah, I [00:32:47] Dom: get it. Yeah. If you know that about me, which all my friends I play with the most, do they just know that they can position around that? [00:32:53] 'cause I'm just always gonna like, throw everything, they're stalling out forward. Uh, and so they, yeah. They may hold things back for [00:33:00] me to move forward, then they can fuck. Yeah. So it's like, yeah. Yeah. I, and I, I, every time I taught myself, all right, we're gonna chill this game, and the game starts, I'm just like, okay, here is everything, you know? [00:33:09] And then I, I flew . Uh, so funny. So [00:33:13] Josh: no. Uh, it's really funny that you say that because that is literally like. How the game of Pokemon is played is like, if you can get your whole bench out in turn one, you should, but then like, and which I do, but then there's like a couple decks out there that punish that, and [00:33:30] I'm coming to find that out now, and it's like, I have to, I can't just blindly throw out my whole hand now on turn one, because if I, if I, if I go very first, Uh, if I do that, then I'm already like setting myself up for disaster, whereas like if I just throw out like one or two and just hold my load, you know, instead of blowing it all at once, I can let them like great, great, you know, [00:33:52] Dom: very eloquently from the word [00:33:55] Josh: smith, I can just have them, uh, you know, put down their first couple of [00:34:00] cards and I can acknowledge like, okay, they're playing X deck. [00:34:03] Well, then I know that they're either going to, uh, you know, punish me or not. So I can, Ensue with load blowing. [00:34:25] What the fuck? We did it back into the... Yeah, baby. [00:34:30] Alright, what are you even playing, Charlie? You playing something right [00:34:34] Charlie: now. I am. I'm playing... And you know, the, uh, maternal evolution is trying to get on the, trying to get my guilt hits in. And then I just finished everything before I was able to. So there we go. [00:34:46] Anyway. Um, the, uh, so I've been hardcore addicted to the new season of devil four. [00:34:54] Josh: Oh, that's right. Yeah. [00:34:55] Charlie: Quite fun. I have to say, um, yes, actually. [00:35:00] Um, you can't, you know, Hooch, you cannot still, uh, compare items and find out which one is better by just looking at your inventory, which is really frustrating. [00:35:08] Uh, hopefully they fix that, but in terms of gameplay, like, it's fun, like, I'm almost level 90, I haven't really played that much this season, I've probably played like 25 hours. But it's been, um, it's been, it's been, yeah, this is just the episode of, of the song reference, [00:35:30] but, um, the, uh, it is, it's just been, I've been playing a lightning ball, uh, sorcerer and it's just been, it's, I don't know, it's just been super fun. [00:35:41] Like it just feels like Diablo. Um, and how it should be like, if you, if you have any sort of like wants to go, well, I'm wondering what Diablo four is like, it's just, it honestly, this season is just excellent. And I'm having a lot of fun with it. The vampire vampiric powers are super fun, uh, super OP. And I liked the [00:36:00] fact that the developers are just like, yeah, I'm glad people are having fun. [00:36:02] No, we're not going to nerf anything. Enjoy how fat have at it. Like it's tight. It's going to be. You know, that's the whole point of Seasons. They're around for three months, and then you do something else. And, yeah. Uh, the new bosses are, are fun to fight. And you have something else to do. I like that they're bringing back some stuff with, like, Varshahn and, um, like, how you, like, summon him. [00:36:22] You can fight Durial for some uber uniques. Um, it's been good. I've been really enjoying it. I'm just, I found that there's a [00:36:30] new, there's a new, uh, ice, um, build that somebody has been finding. And I have all the, the uniques needed to make it work. So I'm going to give it a go later today. Nice. [00:36:40] Josh: Have fun. I, uh, I don't know why, I actually just don't know why I don't enjoy D4. [00:36:50] It's a weird confliction I have. [00:36:52] Charlie: So, I have a feeling I, uh, so I didn't really, I got burned out in Season 1, right? Because I got the 100 in my neck row. It felt like a [00:37:00] schlog. I just didn't feel like I was progressing in Season 1. I was just like, okay, what am I doing? Why am I doing this? But by the time I finished all of the, the campaign, cause I was like, you know what, I'm just gonna play the story for season 2, I'm just curious about it, I wanna try out the new things, blah, blah, blah, blah, just, whatever, I'm just gonna try it. [00:37:15] I think I was like level 45 by the time I finished the story, and I was like, oh shit, like, This was like what this is super easy to like level and like do stuff like I'm just gonna play I'm just you know, I'm casually gonna play. I just want to go through I just want to like [00:37:30] log in I want to like, you know kill groups of demons I just want to do all this stuff like I'm not even gonna do much and I just enjoy I've just been having fun with it That's what I've been doing. [00:37:39] I've just been having fun. [00:37:40] Josh: What's fun? I have I don't know what fun is [00:37:42] Charlie: Fun is the thing you're supposed to do when you're [00:37:44] Josh: not, um, Oh, you mean like when I play World of Warcraft? Yeah, that's that, [00:37:49] Charlie: that thing, you know, that sort of thing. And I've also been playing the new [00:37:52] Josh: Spider Man 2. Oh, I've heard that's supposed to be pretty, pretty fire. [00:37:55] Charlie: That has been really good, but I've just been, I want to finish my character in [00:38:00] D4 before I really dive into that, but, um, that just came out, and I've been also, I still have Assassin's Creed Mirage to finish too. But, [00:38:08] Dom: uh, yeah, speak, wait, hold up. [00:38:13] Josh: So I am officially my, my raids are, we have killed six of the 12 heroics in ice crown citadel. [00:38:22] So I'm halfway, halfway to the finish line. Halfway to [00:38:26] Charlie: being done, done, done, or at least right for the next, for this [00:38:30] leg of, Well, they're gonna, [00:38:31] Josh: they're gonna do Cataclysm, but I don't really want to play it. Like, it's, I just really, I genuinely don't have any interest in it. Like, that's where I quit, I quit playing WoW back in the day. [00:38:38] And I just have like no, like, that's where the nostalgia stops for me. And the way, and they, that's when they introduced like the, um, You can just like press like looking for raid and it'll automatically place you in one and they kind of dumbed down rewards So that's when the game like really shifted away from what my favorite part is, which is raiding I [00:39:00] mean you could still do it, but it's just not as I don't know. [00:39:05] Like I said, the nostalgia just goes away So, I don't know. I kind of i'm kind of looking at it as like the end of my classic days, but there are rumors You know, hold on. A new classic. Classic that there is going, that there are rumors that they are announcing classic Plus. That's a Blis con coming up. [00:39:24] That's a bead. So there, there are a lot of, there are probably three or [00:39:30] four raids in classic that were never finished and they were supposed to be what? What is, they were supposed to be a part of what Burning Crusade is, but Burning Crusade got rushed to production because of how successful the game was at the time, and they wanted to rope people in and sell more. [00:39:52] So they halted production. Like there's a whole Scarlet Crusade raid where like, I don't remember. I mean, do you remember [00:40:00] playing classic while? Yeah. Classic. Classic. Classic. Do you remember like the Scarlet Monastery? Do you remember like the Scarlet Monastery? Where like Captain Motorane and Lady... Yeah, like level like 18 or something like that. [00:40:11] No, like the 20, like the 30, the yeah, like the 20s or 30s. Early 20s, yeah. So like, well there is a whole like raid surrounding the Scarlet Faction and they like... Oh, that's kind of cool. Well, so like that, that is, so... Potentially, again, this could be complete fluff and it's just might be like, you know, classic heads like me that [00:40:30] are, you know, copium hoping that, you know, that this is a thing, but they might be doing it. [00:40:36] I don't know if they do, then I'm definitely going to be interested or they're going to announce season of mastery two, which is going to basically just be like classic, classic, classic, classic with. Plus the classic rules and, and I won't play that, you know what I mean? So like then classic, but if they do, if they do the classic plus, I will definitely try that out [00:41:00] because that will definitely be like the kind of nostalgic modern day experience that I'm looking for. [00:41:06] Cause for me, for me, while it's just the shit, like you, obviously you guys know that, but, um, it's like, it's like if they, if they came out with a new expansion of the OG dark age of Camelot. Charlie would be like, sign me up where the fuck do I sign, you know, and it's, yeah, if they had all the players still, yeah, that's what I'm saying. [00:41:26] Like, so it's like the same kind of, uh, [00:41:30] feeling when somebody announces that to me. So anyways, um, yeah, so I, we're, we're going to find out soon because, uh, Blizzcon, I think is like a couple of weeks away, but, um, they, they actually brought back one of the OG. Did Blizzcon already happen? [00:41:45] Charlie: What, BlizzCon? No, that, that was, uh, that was, uh, Comic Con. [00:41:49] Dom: No, but there, wait, I thought there was just, oh, wait, why did I think BlizzCon? Because I remember [00:41:55] Josh: someone posted something. They're selling tickets for it right now. A hero. They're pushing hard. Maybe that's why, yeah. They're pushing [00:42:00] really hard right now for tickets, you know, because, you know, money. Why not? [00:42:04] But, uh. Yeah, I'm pretty excited. I, I, I think apparently like on the rumor mill is also in the classic plus that the murlocs would be a playable class and I'm like, get the fuck out of here. Like I would play a murloc in a second. Sign me up. But Oh, for sure. That [00:42:19] Charlie: sounds, that actually [00:42:20] Josh: sounds actually kind of sounds fun, right? [00:42:22] I would [00:42:22] Charlie: come back and just try it because why [00:42:25] Josh: not? Right? I see. If it does, let me know. I'll be like, [00:42:30] that's what I'm saying is like, there, there's a market, there's a market of people that would, that are like that, that, no, that sounds, that sounds kind of cool. And I think that's why they're entertaining it because they know that like, though, here's the other thing they, they, uh, the new. [00:42:44] Uh, the new expansion to retail wow, got leaked early somehow, like somebody leaked the, uh, they took like pictures on their phone of like the press kit for it. It's called like, uh, uh, Avin, uh, I don't even know it was a dumb [00:43:00] ass name and people are like fucking pissed because it's like not, it looks lame as fuck basically. [00:43:07] And I'm telling, I think it's going to like swan dive into oblivion and, uh, they're going to need something to keep things going. So I think classic while it's going to be their only ray of hope at this point in time, because the new, the new thing that got leaked is not being received well at all, like at [00:43:24] Charlie: all. [00:43:26] I never really like didn't we like buy Dragonflight or something. Yeah, it's, [00:43:29] Josh: [00:43:30] it's uh, it's, we never played it. Nobody's really liked. I tried Dragonflight for like, a like a couple days. I was just seeing, like, you got my sword in your neck yeah? I was just saying dude, like, I'm telling you, it should be funny, right? [00:43:42] Like you see a swarm, like a group of warlocks, murlocs running together dude? What about a murloc, a warlock? I mean, they put organ in the game, right? They put organs, they put goblins, they put org. Oh, the other one would be, uh, they're talking about putting, um, the actual ogers in the game. Like, you'd be like, Ogers would be a playable race in classic plus film. [00:43:59] Oh, [00:44:00] so [00:44:01] Charlie: collect mean you mean ogre, ogre warp. Uh, ogre [00:44:03] Josh: priest would be, you could be actually, because they, they do have them. They're, they're spell casters too. I mean, there's like ogre made. I just wanna play a, there would a lot Ogre Magi. There would be an ogre Magi. There would be like an ogre shaman. [00:44:15] There would be like an ogre priest. That's pretty tight. 'cause, I mean, that goes in line with the, uh, the enemy classes that are in there that I've obviously, my dumb ass knows like all that shit. But, um, see, you guys see, like [00:44:30] even you guys who aren't even wow players, like, it, it, it got you. Like you, you can relate to it. [00:44:34] Yeah. Um, it, it, it made, made you think about it. So like, I'm telling you, I, I think they. So the reason that, that a lot of people think this is because they rehired the, uh, I can't, I can't remember the developer's name, but he was one of the very first heads of the studio when like classic wow was in it's it's hey, so they, they think that now the rumors or whatever, who knows that he was brought back into spearhead classic plus, [00:45:00] but. [00:45:00] We'll see. Classic classic. That's the copium that I'm writing, because... You say [00:45:04] Dom: classic classic one more time, I'm leaving this call, and messing up the channel. No. [00:45:09] Josh: No. Yeah, don't. Please don't. Not after the... I [00:45:12] Charlie: have to edit everything. It's [00:45:13] Josh: not fun. Yeah, you're ready to deal with 30 minutes of my temper tantrum. [00:45:20] We [00:45:20] Dom: did it though, baby. Look, and you look great now. [00:45:22] Josh: You're great. I [00:45:23] Charlie: sound great. You're good. Dom's the quiet one now. It's fine. [00:45:26] Josh: Dom's looking at You guys be talking about shit. I don't really care. Dom's looking up [00:45:30] cameras for his pizza stream. [00:45:31] Dom: I'm actually trying to apply for a pre approval for a home. For a home? [00:45:38] Charlie: Dom's moving up the world. [00:45:39] Josh: Trying to moving on the [00:45:42] Charlie: next thing, you know, he's going to be next. He's going to be running Twitch. He's finally gonna [00:45:47] Josh: stream piece of [00:45:50] Charlie: this is this is just the throwback. This is the musical episode [00:45:56] Josh: makes me think of like it's always sunny or something like that where they do a musical [00:46:00] episode catch tell you like on unrelated note how much I love that that TV show that's so sunny Philadelphia Glen Howard's in Charlie day. [00:46:07] Uh, um, your boy, Rob, Rob, um, wow, I can't think of his name, Mekelhenny, how do you say it? Mekelhenny? I don't know. How do you say it? That [00:46:17] Charlie: is, that is the joke. That no one knows how to pronounce [00:46:20] Josh: it. Is it seriously? I literally [00:46:22] Charlie: directed a video for his birthday about how to say his [00:46:25] Josh: last name. He's honestly one of like, low key one of the funniest [00:46:30] comedians I've ever Macklehaney. [00:46:33] His character on It's Always Sunny is It's above and beyond. Now [00:46:38] Charlie: I got the fucking song stuck in my head. Which one? Which one? Dammit. No, no, the birthday video. Oh, gotcha. How do you say [00:46:44] Josh: his name? Fighter of the Nightmen. [00:46:49] Dom: Champion of the sun. [00:46:50] Josh: Yeah, but like, I mean, like, if you think about that and like, I think about like the contrast of like when he did the, um, he did the dance just to let his dad know that he was gay or whatever. [00:46:59] [00:47:00] And it was like this really beautiful, like actual. Performance, you know, like, like the guy is very talented. I don't know. And unrelated. No, I don't know how I got started on, uh, always sunny, but I think it's like probably one of the best calm modern day comedies. Like they have an incredible cast. Danny DeVito. [00:47:15] Are you kidding me? Like this show is actually, it's so good. It's crack dude. Just give me a rum ham. That's all I need. [00:47:27] Charlie: Anyways, anyway, Dom, what are you playing? [00:47:29] Dom: [00:47:30] Uh, uh, phasmophobia has had their Halloween updates. It's been really fun. They changed a lot of, I mean, they didn't change a lot. They changed two maps. They made them better. Um, did the Halloween challenge last night, got a sweet little Halloween plaque. Um, [00:47:47] um, so doing a lot of Phasma, which has been really fun. I love that game. I'm like such a sucker for that game. And then, uh, Tons of daisies still, uh, I'm on this server with like a bunch of crazy like mods [00:48:00] and like really cool Extras and I have like a base with a few other people. So that's been fun shots. [00:48:05] My boy from poland plow Uh, it's really funny. This dude's time zone Is like, you know, he's in poland. So it's like drastically different but I swear to god No matter what time it is here if I log in he's like You wanna, you wanna go PvP? And like, isn't it like 5am for you, motherfucker? Like, what are you doing? [00:48:27] Dude, some people... Yeah, [00:48:30] uh, but so that's been really fun playing with other people and Daisy complaining solo is gets very bored, bored, boring and old, but we have this like crazy base builds up in this like giant castle. Um, and on, on a, on a server that has like, it's not very popular in the sense. [00:48:47] There's not like 20 to 50 people running around, but like most times there's between eight to 15, which is like popular enough for me. You know what I mean? Um, But to buy a helicopter, that's really fun. [00:49:00] But yeah, so we're playing a lot of days. So Daisy and two games that like in 2023, like, you're like, wait, why are you playing this? [00:49:08] Charlie: But what was the, there is, there's, I saw something online that was like, that's quite funny. He's like, like. Uh, it's like you're gonna go hang out with your boys and drink some Mountain Dew, and then you're gonna go, uh, get the latest Spider Man game and hang out from hang out with your boys and the year's 2023. [00:49:25] Dom: Yeah, yeah, those memes, It's something like that, yeah. [00:49:30] Uh, but yes, and then also, I have a crazy, actually, competitive season of Warhammer coming Nice! I have two local tournaments next month in, in Brooklyn, uh, and yeah, [00:49:41] Josh: we are called the overachievers gaming podcast and I am a huge, I'm a, I'm a huge fan of gaming. [00:49:49] Yeah. Yes. I support the [00:49:51] Dom: Warhammer. So I have, yeah, two local tournaments next month in Brooklyn, and then in December I'm going to Boston for a major tournament. [00:50:00] That's dope. And then in January I'll be in Vegas for a Super Major, the Las Vegas Open. Major Major? Super Major. So there's like classifications of like the level of tournament size. [00:50:08] Classification? [00:50:09] Josh: Classification? [00:50:12] Dom: Like what type of, what level of tournament it is. Gotcha. I don't know, I don't know what joke you're trying to go for. [00:50:19] Josh: I was just trolling you. I don't know. What was the troll though? We keep saying the, you mean like classic? Classic. Like, classic, classic. . [00:50:27] Dom: Oh, classic, classic, classic. [00:50:28] That was fair. [00:50:29] Josh: I [00:50:30] I was like, I'm so confused. It's so funny how you didn't get that major, major. How did you not, you didn't hear, you didn't hear him do the major, major thing. Like I didn't [00:50:36] Dom: actually [00:50:37] Josh: know. Damn. Got me. Charlie and I were just laying him on. You. You were completely oblivious to 'cause you're lost. [00:50:42] Super. You're I'm just so [00:50:43] Dom: into like telling this. Yeah. Tunnel story. [00:50:46] Josh: Tunnel. We'll keep going. Yeah. War Hammer. Yeah. But War Hammer Warrior. [00:50:50] Dom: A super major in January, and then in February, another major in Rhode [00:50:54] Josh: Island, the major, the super major, a major, major, major, now I get it. [00:51:00] Not a super, super major. Now it makes sense to me. [00:51:02] It's a major [00:51:03] Dom: major. Yeah. So lots of Warhammer [00:51:05] Charlie: this winter. I still have, uh, I still need to paint my figurines. I got everything, everything's primed with black and ready to go. I still need to paint them. [00:51:13] Josh: You know, I had a, uh, Ashi, I have a question for you. Did you ever, did you ever like hit this point where you like Looked at this like giant pile of shit and I'm going to use the word shit because like, you know, even though it's like your collection and it's your, your baby, but you just [00:51:30] like take a second to look at this pile of like cardboard or in your, your instance, like plastic, you just like look at this pile that you've amassed and, and think about it in a, in a monetary number and just say to yourself, like, what the fuck have I done? [00:51:44] Dom: Uh, yes. And usually when that conversation is ever like. With. Like if that ever comes up, me and Mallory, it's more so like, yeah, yes, like this is an expensive hobby, but I also could be into something like, I don't know, [00:51:59] Josh: cocaine and [00:52:00] hookers. Sure, sure, sure, sure, sure. Yeah, the other day I, I, uh. [00:52:04] Dom: The answer is yes, I do, quite often. [00:52:06] Okay, okay, okay. But luckily. Uh, in the grand scheme of expensive hobbies, this is more chill than like, I have a friend who's a car [00:52:14] Josh: guy. Let's talk about fishing. Talk about, sure, car, fishing, it's [00:52:18] Dom: all expensive. Even, even like fishing, yeah, or worse, MSF. Got em. [00:52:23] Josh: Oh, I heard got. Okay, go, go, [00:52:24] Dom: keep going, keep going. [00:52:25] My, my buddy is a car guy. He owns like four cars and not even just [00:52:30] like cars. Yeah. And he's not like, and he's not a very like rich person. He just. Well, that's his hobby, right? He looks like, and so he has like a couple of Subarus, like a BMW and these aren't like, you know, brand new cars are like used and like, you know, fix them up. [00:52:44] And like, he takes very good care of them and like upgrade them over time. And the second, the other thing, that's his thing. Car guy has a bunch of cars. It, my hobby hasn't even come close to paying for one of his cars. You know what I mean? [00:53:00] Yeah, [00:53:00] Josh: that's true. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I, I hit the 4k mark on my Pokemon collection and I was just like, what the fuck is wrong with me? [00:53:08] Like actually, um, but it's been fun. Yeah. It's like [00:53:14] Charlie: one lens. [00:53:17] Josh: There you go. See, like, so like, so like, so see, I'm glad you said that. Cause like, you know, in my, again, like in my head, I'm over here like, man, am I dumb? Like if I spent too much money, cause like I'm having fun and a lot of it, I could honestly like hold onto it, resell, flip, like whatever. [00:53:29] It's just, [00:53:30] I'm like a weirdo and I like to hold onto it. But um, on an honest, I'd like that. They were talking about MSF a second ago. I heard. Was, was Mish telling the truth when he said that they have diamond stars out now? Is, is Is that really a thing, dude? Like, so honest to God, like who, is it Scopely still owns the company? [00:53:51] Oh no, it's somebody else. Yeah. Who over there needed to buy a new Ferrari for their daughter or something, man? Cause like, what the fuck? Like that is nothing. That cannot [00:54:00] be anything but a cash grab. Like that. Genuinely, can I not just make them dollar signs? Yeah. Why don't you make them like, yeah, just make a green money signs. [00:54:09] Like, yeah, just honest to God. [00:54:14] Dom: If for April fools, if they had any, if they had any sort of like self awareness, which, you know, uh, if they, they would do that for April fools, like a new tier where it's literally just dollar signs, but like, no way that they would then be admitting that everything they do is, [00:54:30] but I mean, anything anyone does is for cash, but yes. [00:54:34] Yeah, wait. So fishing is expensive. Is that what I'm hearing here? Oh [00:54:36] Josh: my God. Yes, dude. Holy shit, bro. Sport fishing is insanely expensive. Like go look up how much. [00:54:46] Charlie: How do people have money to [00:54:47] Josh: spend all what on sport? Fishing, on just any, anything. Well, I mean, I, well, when you don't buy a [00:54:53] Dom: house, Charlie, you usually have a little bit more. [00:54:55] Yeah. You, you just [00:54:56] Josh: usually have a little bit more, Hey Charlie, turn around. Turn around [00:55:00] and look at your this. That's what you did. And then Dom and I have a bunch of plastic shit. I see you said? Yeah. I see. And so like I got, I got a bunch of going this I have, yeah. So the next couple years I got a bunch, this board shit, you know, like I got a, wouldn't wanna say the same. [00:55:12] Yeah. I got a whole bunch of these little cardboard shits. But I don't have this like. Giant home studio behind me to look to admire. So with the sweet racing wheel behind it. Yeah. So like that's, that's the difference maker right there. Where are you? That [00:55:24] Charlie: was me. That was me splurging. By the way, that was like [00:55:27] Josh: 150 bucks. [00:55:28] Where are you getting that money [00:55:30] from? That's what I want to know. I would say, is that Ryan not buying the Pokemon card? That was that Ryan over? No. Oh yeah. Hey, my Pokemon cards ain't buying me that. I'll tell you that right now. My four K is buying me the chairs in your, in your office or in your, uh, that, that was, uh, yeah, [00:55:45] Charlie: No, that was me. Um, you know, spending 80 hours a week on sets, like killing myself. Over the course of like 10 years to be able to do it. So gotcha. [00:55:53] Josh: Gotcha. Okay. Well, way to stick it to me there on that answer. Thank you. Uh, [00:55:59] Dom: whose fault was [00:56:00] that asshole? [00:56:00] Josh: Yeah, it's my, it was all that was all my fault. I was, I was saying it's Charlie's fault. [00:56:06] Oh, I was, I was working on a boat in the Bahamas somewhere and Charlie's like this fucking guy out there. It's all his fault. 12 years later. [00:56:14] Charlie: True, true story. I was planted the whole thing out. This is, this is all culminated to this [00:56:19] Josh: moment. Dude, that a smack, that was a murder mitten for sure. Dude, she, [00:56:24] Dom: uh, if I go to kiss her, she'll push me away. [00:56:26] She does [00:56:27] Josh: not look happy right now. She's, no, she pissed. She's 100% [00:56:30] tolerating you. [00:56:31] Dom: That is, I'm very thankful that she does not, she's not a swatter. Thank God. [00:56:35] Josh: Right now Dave's, she's looking an exit route. Yep. There it is. Yeah, I saw that, man. I know cat's too. Damn well, [00:56:40] Dom: dude, I get Holly. I get it's cats. Uh, I get it. [00:56:45] Josh: She's like, dude, he just, I just unveiled him and he, he looked pissed. . He's like, don't, [00:56:50] Dom: don't touch me. Yeah. Uh, Charlie, what video games are you playing? I already said [00:56:54] Josh: you did. Yeah. Four. We're like an hour into the pod. Just D four. That's it? Yeah. [00:56:58] Charlie: Yeah. That's pretty D four and Spiderman [00:57:00] two. And, and, [00:57:00] Josh: uh, I play [00:57:01] Dom: a little bit, you said, are you gonna get the new Assassin Creed, vr, was it Mirage or whatever? [00:57:05] Charlie: I mean, I have Mirage, I've, I haven't finished it yet. Mirage, what is it? New [00:57:09] Dom: Assassin Creed, VR Nexus. I don't even know about that. Yeah. [00:57:13] Josh: It's a VR. Yo, for real. How was, uh, how was streaming with Disguised Toast? We didn't even talk about that. [00:57:21] Dom: Uh, yeah, this, so I have, I have, I have, and then I had, and still have, uh, a seven stream series for Meta, a sponsored series for Meta [00:57:30] because of their new Quest 3, which I now own. [00:57:32] Charlie: Yeah. Kind of cool. I saw that in the back. That's cool. [00:57:35] Dom: Um, uh, and I had, I didn't know that among, first off, I didn't know that among us VR was a completely different game than just among us. You can't play, you can't cross play among us with among us VR, which I get now it makes sense. Um, which was fun by the way. [00:57:48] Yeah. So I, I had the stream with Disguised Toast and I was like, shit, I can't have randos come in because of voice chat, blah, blah, blah. And so I got. Uh, I had some other streamers a part of the series that were supposed to come in with [00:58:00] me, a few of them unfortunately couldn't make it. I smelled like Charlie, please, for the love of God, come play this game with me, so it's not just like two of us in here and it's bad. [00:58:07] But then hilariously enough, you can, you can invite pe you can have people in a, in a lobby, and you just, you can turn off their voices, and they can't type, all of the, the text is just pre done, like, Responses and things. So in the long run, it wasn't like, I didn't have to really worry, but also big shot for Charlie to come help me regardless last minute, uh, on this, on this stream, uh, [00:58:30] yeah, yeah, it was, it was funny because, you know, we're on the front page of Twitch, there's like 15, 000 people watching us and here's Charlie and I just like, like, you know, with our stupid little VR hands, like, hi, just like, that's what it does. [00:58:41] It's like, yeah, it's so silly. Uh, VR is cool. [00:58:49] Josh: Yeah. Oh, so you guys like personally interacting with him or you couldn't, you couldn't find out. We were, [00:58:54] Dom: we were in a discord call with him, but he, he, he was doing this dream. So he wasn't really [00:59:00] talking to us really. And the only talking I was doing to him was mostly from a producing standpoint, as I make. [00:59:05] Where, hey, can you look at your prompter? Can you do this? Can you do that? Uh, there was unfortunately some technical difficulties, so we had to end the stream early, but, um, We were gonna come back and actually be talking with his chat. We talked for like a minute, and then we decided we had to cancel the stream. [00:59:19] We had to stop the stream, cause the... There was an issue with [00:59:22] Josh: his headset. Yeah, he didn't have a charge or something like that. So, yeah, well, [00:59:25] Dom: also, uh, someone already used that headset and there is apparently like you just have to [00:59:30] clean the headset in between uses. Long story short. Interesting. Yeah. [00:59:34] There's like some sensors in it that if they get smudged, uh, they, they. Yeah, it's like a long story of like, you just have to make sure the headset's clean. [00:59:41] Charlie: So if this is, if this is your first VR headset, right? Yeah, [00:59:45] Dom: I mean, every time I've done before was with you and the [00:59:46] Charlie: Beat Saber. Yeah. So I was going to recommend Beat Saber. [00:59:49] It's quite fun. I need to get back because I was, I used to play that all the time. [00:59:53] Dom: Yeah. I, yeah. That's the only thing, everything I did before was when, uh, you should play Beat [00:59:57] Charlie: Saber. PSVR is when I [00:59:59] Dom: bought that, right? Yeah. [01:00:00] You came over. We, we did our Patreon, our, our Patreon video. Do you remember that? We did a video to get you brought over PlayStation vr , which is really funny. [01:00:10] It was tight. Yeah. I'll probably end up getting that. I'll prob, I'll probably, I'll probably play with it. It's not like the thing where I'm like, oh, I'm gonna VR guy now, but like, I'll probably play with it every once in a while. You know? It's [01:00:19] Charlie: good. I'm, I used to get like, super like motion set with vr, so I can't, I can't, apparently. [01:00:24] Dom: This one is really nice 'cause the way they did. Something with like the, the lenses, there's like a pass through [01:00:30] thing. I don't know. There's like something where it's supposed to mitigate [01:00:32] Charlie: your motion sickness. Yeah. Cause I have a quest one. [01:00:36] Josh: Is that [01:00:36] Dom: what you use when we [01:00:37] Josh: played or not? [01:00:38] Charlie: Yeah, I just put, yeah, I use a quest one. [01:00:39] Um, and I just plugged in, I have it. Um, I got it like way back. Came out, I think, like 2017, [01:00:47] Dom: 2018. Oh, see, we know you watched the Patreon video cause you're our only Patreon. Yeah. We, [01:00:51] Josh: we [01:00:51] Charlie: gave you a little shout out. You weren't here for [01:00:53] Josh: it. Yeah. You weren't [01:00:54] Dom: here, you fucking jerk. I even tagged you in discord and everything. [01:00:58] Josh: Yeah. [01:01:00] I was jealous. [01:01:04] Dom: Uh. I'm going to go to an open house in a minute. Fun [01:01:08] Charlie: fact. Oh, very cool. Let us know how it is and take a [01:01:12] Dom: tennis ball. I mean, we're not, we're not going to be buying it. We can't buy anything. Take a tennis ball. Why not take a tennis ball with me? Oh, to see if it, if it like is. Yeah. See if the floors [01:01:20] Josh: are plumb. [01:01:21] Why, uh, why can't you. Why can't you buy anything? Two hilarious [01:01:25] Dom: reasons. Well, three hilarious reasons. One, the housing market. Just like the [01:01:30] economy is inflated and not real. Oh, yeah. None of it. None. None of it is real. Yeah. None of these numbers are real. Interest isn't real. None of it is real. Uh, two, uh, I switched to being a, a uh, S corp this year. [01:01:43] I don't have a year's worth, I don't have tax returns yet on it, so I don't have provable income. And three, we just can't afford these things, [01:01:51] Josh: dude. I can imagine New York is insane. How much, how much is a house in New York? Just as a curiosity, like throw a number at me, I genuinely don't know. I, [01:02:00] well, okay. [01:02:00] So, so like, so like, well, actually, I don't want to ask you what you're looking for. Cause that's, that's private information, but like, give me just like, like, let's say, yeah, I'm, I'm just, I'm genuinely curious. Cause I have absolutely no idea what the market would [01:02:11] Dom: be like there. There's two, the hilarity of the two differences I'm about to tell you of the, the type of home. [01:02:19] So New York is a very large, small city. Yeah, sure. Yeah. And so like, if you want rats, I get it. Yes, [01:02:27] Josh: we are. No, I'm [01:02:30] sorry. That's, that's what we'll say. Yeah. I do. [01:02:35] Dom: So like if I wanted to buy a home in like a really cool hit place like Williamsburg, okay That's like probably two mil men. Okay, [01:02:45] Josh: so we're talking Okay, so you're buying an apartment It's like what like a 2 1 or 2 2 maybe okay, who knows like probably square feet [01:02:53] Dom: probably, okay So this place we're gonna look at today is in my neighborhood in Queens. [01:02:57] It is a, a duplex, a [01:03:00] two bedroom with a, a shared backyard duplex and a co-op building, it's apartment, not a home. Um, this place is 6 26 50, um, which, you know, that's like a house you could buy in like a, a normal yes. Suburban neighborhood. [01:03:17] Josh: So 6, 6 56 50 to 700 will get you a three, two out in the suburbs here. [01:03:23] Like out, like probably about 30 to 45 minutes away from Fort Lauderdale. [01:03:27] Dom: Yes. And then if you go a little bit further into [01:03:30] Queens, a little more towards the Long Island route. Um, we just, Mallory just sent me this place that I'm like kind of in love with. Um, it's 7. 50 and it is a, it is a single family, it is a home. [01:03:42] It's a row home, I guess, because it's attached to other homes. Right. It is a home. And it is three bedroom, two bathroom with a basement in the backyard. That's, and that's [01:03:49] Josh: seven 50. That's Oh, yeah. That's, that's what you're looking for right there. Yeah. [01:03:52] Dom: I would love, I mean, I would love that. Yeah. But like, again, that's, that, [01:03:55] Josh: that kind of house should realistically be like four 50 to 500. [01:03:59] Any [01:04:00] in the city, four 50 in the, in, in your area. In my area, that should be more like three 50 to 4 5, 4 50. In [01:04:07] Dom: my thing, I really wish street easy didn't even mention this, but they show you what it's sold for in the past. Of course. Yeah. [01:04:12] Josh: Yeah. In 000. I mean, I'll be honest with you, dude. Like I bought, I'll be, I don't, I don't care talking about it, but cause real, in my opinion, real estate's like one of the things that people don't like. [01:04:23] So [01:04:24] Charlie: that's why we meant to came to Connecticut. Yeah, [01:04:26] Josh: I, I bought, I got in my house when the foreclosure hit [01:04:30] really, really hard. I do. Yeah. Um, so like it's, uh, it's, I've lived in this home for almost 12 years now, maybe 13 years. But, um, yeah, we got it in 2010 or 2009 or I think it was like 2009, 2010 when the market was like tanks, dude, one 29, I paid for this home. [01:04:49] Right. It, yeah. My neighbor just sold theirs for 385, 000. Yeah. The fuck? Are you kidding me? Like, that's insane, dude. Like, I mean, that's actually [01:05:00] cracked. Like, but, um, you know, [01:05:02] Dom: How the market is not, it's not a real, it's not real. It's, [01:05:05] Josh: it's, yeah. And there's a lot of factors involved there. Like I live in a, I live in downtown Fort Lauderdale and I have a unit with a garage. [01:05:12] Like that's not. Very common, you know, and not to mention I have three stories. So like, and for flooding purposes and things like that, I'm completely safe from like. It'd be pretty, it'd have to be a pretty fucking rough storm for it to hit me pretty hard, you know, like it did last time. [01:05:30] Yeah, right. Well, the flood, the flood, they got me and flooded my freaking garage. [01:05:34] Flooded [01:05:34] Charlie: 22. It was like places were 1, 000 a square foot when I was looking back in 2016 city. So it was crazy. [01:05:45] Josh: These are a rental companies are buying everything up in cash and driving out the prices is super true, dude. It's super true. Over here on the og. Hundred percent Illegal. The Overachievers Gaming Podcast. [01:05:55] Uh, real Estate Edition, overachievers Rental podcast. Yeah. . But hey, we, we here at the O [01:06:00] Overachievers Game podcast, like to talk about a wide range of things. Everything, you know, everything, anything that involves you making more educated and smarter decisions in life. [01:06:12] Dom: Definitely. That's what we, that's what we [01:06:14] Charlie: give. [01:06:14] Yeah. We won't even, we won Only get, get into where Hooch is in the, in the Bay Area. It's just like, or around the Bay Area, I should say. Um, cause that's just, that's just, I can't even imagine, but it's like insane. [01:06:28] Dom: The only thing we had going for us [01:06:30] is that uh, Airbnb just got kind of outlawed in New York City. [01:06:33] So there's going to be a lot more. [01:06:34] Josh: Did it really? [01:06:35] Dom: Oh. Not outlawed. They, they changed the requirements of what you're allowed to do for an Airbnb. Okay. So now out of all of the Airbnbs that were in New York City. About 10% are, are now allowable. Really? So there's gonna about to be a lot [01:06:48] Josh: of homes. Yeah, no, there are because I'm sure, I'm sure a lot of tenants were straight up like kicking people out and being like, I don't, why, why would I Airbnb it? [01:06:56] Yeah. Because Airbnb is, is wildly lucrative [01:07:00] if you can't, like, as a business, people have been doing that for a while. Yeah. That's crazy. [01:07:06] Charlie: It's been like, what, like seven or eight years, right, that people have been doing that? Yeah, [01:07:09] Josh: I mean, most people, a lot of people do Airbnb over hotels like all day, every day. [01:07:13] I mean, I, I know people that exclusively use it, so. [01:07:15] Dom: I will, I would, it's the hilarity of that shit now is like, you go to Airbnb and there's a fucking laundry list of requirements. And they're now more expensive and it's like, fuck that. I'm gonna go to a hotel where I get to do everything. I'm given everything. [01:07:27] Everything's clean. Yeah. Yeah. It's cheaper. I'm like [01:07:30] done with it. Yeah. [01:07:30] Josh: Airbnb used it. I [01:07:31] Dom: can't it to work. Unfortunately, the concept of it used to be was great. When it's like, oh, I have [01:07:35] Josh: a spare room. You can't do watch for work Airbnb. I can't [01:07:37] Charlie: do Airbnb work. Oh yeah. It has to go through hotel. Yeah. But [01:07:40] Dom: like the concept of it was fine at the, when it first came out, like, oh, like, you know, rent out your spare room, you got a little cottage in the back, rent that out, blah, blah, blah. [01:07:46] Now it's just you have corporations buying places to Airbnb them and it's like, yeah. Holy fuck, and then yeah, you go to these places and they're like clean the sheets, clean the bathrooms, do the dishes, clean the, take the trash out, do this, do that. cracks [01:07:57] Josh: me up is that they, they will charge you for that shit. [01:07:59] And [01:07:59] Dom: the [01:08:00] hotel. Yeah. It's like get the fuck out of here. I'm hotel. Yeah. They'll bring me ice cream in my room. And they clean my sheets, like what the [01:08:06] Josh: fuck? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll let you, you actually, you actually like, you really came out, came kind of like pepped up here. It sounds like a heated topic for you, man. [01:08:18] Anything about capitalism? [01:08:20] Dom: I hate, I hate capitalism, uh, and I hate the things that exploit it, the system to, to make it like all of our housing problems are because of things like, or from. Large [01:08:30] corporation. Sure. Airbnb. Sure. Has ruined the housing, the market, and then companies buying houses to then either barely refurbish, you know, yeah. [01:08:38] So, [01:08:39] Charlie: uh, this, this, this segment is brought to you by [01:08:41] Josh: Airbnb, our [01:08:43] Dom: sponsor, Don Marks Galeano. [01:08:46] Josh: Did you say Don Marks [01:08:47] Dom: Galeano? Don Marks Galeano. I have my soapbox in the background. Uh, yeah, I just, uh, I hate, I hate, I hate, yeah, I hate, I hate, uh, I hate not being able to afford [01:09:00] things when I make the money. [01:09:02] Charlie: So, yeah, that's, that's the crazy thing. [01:09:04] Um, I don't make what I make, made when I was in the film industry, but yeah, I'm the same boat. I'm like, [01:09:08] Josh: I'm making the most money I ever made in my life. Oh my God. [01:09:10] Dom: Yes. The cleaning fee. And then still make it, make you clean it. If I'm paying a cleaning fee, I'm not, I'm not fucking, I'm not cleaning shit, pal, for in an Airbnb. [01:09:19] It's bullshit. Yeah. You charge me to clean. Then you're like, oh, take the trash out. Yeah. You take the fucking trash out. You know why, you know why they have that? Well, you, well, you know why they, they tell you to do the things? Because they don't fucking live [01:09:30] there for them to do it. That's so fucking, dude. [01:09:32] Josh: Dom's heated, man. This is great. That was, that was the, that was one of the best rants I've seen you go on in weeks, dude. I just want to own a home. I know I feel you. I feel you. You know, honestly, man, like I, I own two and I got to tell you that like It's only because of my parents and I, you know, shout out to any parents out there that push their kids and try to, you know, I don't know, either, either. [01:09:55] I can't even, I know it's tough, man. I mean, in today, well, no, no, no. I [01:10:00] mean, dude, in today's market, it's. It's, it's, it's rough, man. I mean, like you, you know what I mean? Like you don't need, you can be doing really well for yourself and the housing market is so shit that you can't even buy a house. It's just ridiculous. [01:10:12] Dom: Funny thing the other day about like, where it's like, what, it's like what my 12 year old self thought a millionaire was like swimming in gold. It's like what my adult self knows what a millionaire is. And it shows like a family of three in front of a home in the suburbs. And it's like, you're not even [01:10:25] Josh: joking. [01:10:26] Like that's like, that's a legitimate, that's, that's actually like a legitimate [01:10:30] realization of life. Like that's. That's a cruel realization of life, honestly, but [01:10:35] Charlie: I bought this house almost four years ago and it's doubled in [01:10:38] Josh: value. Yeah. Of course. [01:10:40] Dom: Yeah. It's crazy. My parents shitty little home in the Poconos is like, should not be the worth it [01:10:45] Josh: is. [01:10:46] But it is. My parents built a home in Tennessee. For 350, 000 and that home that they sold for 750 back in 2000, whatever, is currently worth 1.[01:11:00] [01:11:02] 3 [01:11:03] Dom: million right now. Are you I think I need to segue us out of this because I'm getting, I'm just getting mad. I'm sorry. [01:11:09] Josh: Well, [01:11:09] Charlie: enjoy your open house. [01:11:11] Josh: I'm sorry. You did this to yourself. I'm sorry. I did. I was having, I apologize. [01:11:14] Dom: I won't do it to myself because I can't, I can't get it. [01:11:16] Josh: You can [01:11:17] Charlie: get it. You can do [01:11:17] Josh: anything if you want. [01:11:18] Dom, you know what? You know what? You're back into it. I feel like you are. You're one of those people that when you want to make something happen, you find a way to make it happen. No, [01:11:28] Dom: I can tell you from [01:11:30] number one firsthand experience. No, nope. All right. It's all the facade. All [01:11:37] Josh: right. Well, I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic here. [01:11:39] Dom: You know, the smiley face. This is a, uh, is a, is a very, yeah, the NBC, NBC streams, fuck off. [01:11:46] Josh: Just do NBC streams. Get on there and be like, thanks for the pizza. Thanks for the pizza. I'm going to close. Yes. I'm going to close [01:11:54] Dom: the stream and just cry in the [01:11:55] Josh: corner. Fuck corporations. Fuck corporations. [01:11:59] Dom: So I [01:12:00] can't wait for you to watch this, these streams and be like, what the fuck [01:12:03] Charlie: is this? [01:12:03] I, I, I'm going to watch Amanda's friend so that when she has the algorithm for it, I'm not, I'm not doing it myself. I'm going to do that before I publish this episode so that when she's like, you just, you just ruined [01:12:13] Josh: my entire episode. Can I be a guest on the OG podcast communist revolution edition episode? [01:12:18] Dom: Yes. Every time I talk, you're already listening to that episode. [01:12:21] Charlie: Yes. Amazing.
