Uh, the, yeah, the, uh, so the hilarity of that [00:08:00] stream was every Thursday. So I work at a team at Twitch called the brand partnership studio.

[00:08:09] So if you want to advertise on Twitch. Um, it's our team that makes that happen, whether it be like creating a sponsored live stream or commercial, whatever, it doesn't really matter. Um, so when every Thursday we have like a big standup meeting, like a lot of companies, like, you know, weekly, monthly, whatever, where everyone gets on the call.

[00:08:27] So every Thursday. Instead of doing whatever [00:08:30] boring thing our boss is going to talk about, that's like business related, someone can go live instead and everyone from the stand up call will go in to chat and blah blah blah blah. And so, you know, we all, we're all like, we all work at Twitch, so like, usually it's like some fun stuff happening, like silly things or whatever.

[00:08:46] And I was like, oh, let me try to do pizza. And I, you know, because I have a bunch of cameras, like, uh... If so, I, I, I asked two weeks in advance if I could do it and I like did multiple [00:09:00] setups with my, with cameras going in and you don't mind, I don't have like a switcher and I don't have any like way to easy to just like put all these inputs in and then go from there.

[00:09:10] So I, I, I do, I like did so many different funny. Like workarounds, like so many like jerry rigged things where like my, I had multiple webcams going and then, you know, I also had this CAN 60 DI was like trying to get that working and I, I had Mallory's, DSLR, I have a GoPro, so I did all these things and most, almost like [00:09:30] the, the end accounting worked.

[00:09:34] I used Mallory's DSLR, she has a Fuji film. I use that as like the y and I use my Canon 60 D as like the tight on the oven because I wanted multiple angles 'cause I was doing all this stuff. And I wanted, I have a little GoPro and I had that really like badly rigged above my, my cutting board, my butcher block to be like an overhead.

[00:09:52] Cause I really want to show how you properly, you know, flatten a pizza dough out and everything. But of course, like I just mess certain things up, like the power to Mallory's camera, I didn't [00:10:00] do right. I forgot to add my, and also Streamlabs OBS has a remote control from your phone, which was, I was like, Oh, this is easy.

[00:10:06] I'll be able to switch everything on my phone, like a little, because I was outside. I had all these wires running out my window to the, out to the backyard. Amazing. It's not even like move my computer or anything, which in, in, in hindsight, I wish I just moved my computer to be honest. Um, but I forgot to add like really silly little things.

[00:10:23] I forgot to add my mic to each scene. So when I switched to the overhead, when I was like trying to do like the dough and stuff, you [00:10:30] know, like everyone's in chat, like you can hear me. So like, there's a lot of notes, but the, the main thing is I think I want to do that still. I think I want to like act because that was just like a 30 minute, like fun thing at work.

[00:10:41] I think I actually want to do. Like cooking streams, whether it be pizza or like, like, like pasta dishes, it was like, surprisingly super fun, you know, and funny. It was just like, so 

[00:10:54] Josh: you get to share your 

[00:10:55] Charlie: passion with other people, dude. Whenever, whenever you want to do that. Like I said, I mean, I wasn't [00:11:00] joking.

[00:11:00] Like, let me help you produce your stream. Like I, there's ways to do this and very inexpensively. They have like some five channel or four channel. Like HDMI switchers where you literally just doot doot doot 

[00:11:10] Dom: doot and it switches everything. That's probably the, the, the best way to go about that. For like under a hundred bucks.

[00:11:15] So. Yeah, that's probably the best way to go about that. 

[00:11:18] Charlie: Um, But yeah, it was great. I quite enjoyed it. So. 

[00:11:22] Dom: It was fun, you know, like def, it was definitely fun. You know, there's, yeah, like there are some easy fixes, even besides doing that. Like if I just got like a [00:11:30] dummy battery for Mallory's camera so that it just stayed, because like towards the end it died, you know, and I had to like 

[00:11:35] Josh: lift up the GoPro.

[00:11:35] Yeah, I saw the Fujifilm thing pop up. Yeah. Yeah, 

[00:11:37] Dom: the over the head GoPro, I lift it up, so that would be the, uh, the, um, the wide. It was, it was, but, like... All the technical difficulties weren't like a big deal. It was so fun. It was, 

[00:11:49] Josh: it was just learn as you go. I mean, that's what I'm doing with the, the card stuff.

[00:11:54] You know, you just, I have no fucking clue what I'm doing, but you just, you live and you learn, right? Yeah. [00:12:00] I feel like it's a, when you want to get into like the whole content creation or whatever.

[00:12:11] It's definitely a grind and if you, if you like it, you just got to keep doing it and doing it. And then just constantly revising. How fucking funny would it

It's like the developers have acknowledged that it's, uh, the, and they, and they've like actively said like, Hey, we're working on this. So I'm going to like roast them on it. But there's just like this disconnect where, uh, I have to like [00:25:30] join Toronto's game and Um, all of the, like I gained progress in the game, like I'm gaining resources and things like that.

[00:25:37] But when we, I, I can't upgrade anything on my end. He has to upgrade everything. I received the benefits of what he upgrades to a certain extent. Um, I had to go and unlock the advanced, uh, modification thing on my end and then go join his game again so that I could then use the advanced mods, which [00:26:00] again, it's just a little thing.

[00:26:02] Ass backwards, but they'll fix it. I'm sure. Um, Yeah, and none 

[00:26:05] Charlie: of the quests carry over, which is really annoying. So you can't gain personal quests. So like, if you get to the end of the game, whatever, and like, or you do the quests that you need, like, you now have to do it again on your

[00:26:15] Like, so I haven't unlocked any of the characters, but Trondo is basically done with the game at this point. Cause we've, we've, you know, more or less. Beating the crap out of well, and I wouldn't say beating the crap out of it because we haven't uh, we got to the core game. We got to the core of the second [00:26:30] stage and um, dude, I was basically like asleep and I don't even remember what happened.

[00:26:36] Um, which is kind of funny that like we were joking about it, how like, you know, it's friendly for stoners because Michael would be like, yo, just stand right here. Del, Del. Del, stand right here and just don't let anything get past you. And I'd be like, Oh, okay, okay. Cause it was like one in the morning at this point.

[00:26:50] And he's like, I don't want to, I don't want to leave cause we're so far. And you know, like I don't, I don't, and I'm like, all right, all right, all right, all right. I'm like dead asleep. And, uh, we somehow made it [00:27:00] there and then realized you can actually save where you're at in the dungeon and click, uh, save and quit and whatever, and it'll save your head.

[00:27:07] So we were like, Oh, fuck it. Hey, well, all right. But, um. Overall game's pretty cool. I wish there were a few more weapons, but I mean... I know the game's new, so, uh, there, there, there's, um, I think some of the enemies are much harder than the others, like the bugs, the bugs, and the bots, and the other ones are easy, but the blurs are a pain in my royal ass, [00:27:30] dude, um, we, we kind of get screwed, so it's definitely a little RNG dependent because, uh, we get screwed on, like, trying to Reset the researches because the, um, level three versions of the turrets are OP as fuck.

[00:27:45] Charlie: They are. They really are. And have you done the thing where like, if you, if the waves come and you just go and call another or do a research really quickly, any quickly anyway to just have, oh yeah, deal with one wave of stuff. 

[00:27:55] Josh: Yeah, yeah, we basically push it as far as we can until we know it's about to spawn and then we'll just [00:28:00] pop the wave because, um, yeah.

[00:28:03] It's the best way to take advantage of it. Most efficient way to play the game, but yeah, it's pretty fun. I mean, for 30 bucks, uh, I have no complaints or well, I don't have any alarming complaints. Yeah. No, no major glaring red flags like I do with games that I spend 60, 75 on. 

[00:28:23] Charlie: Yeah, I'm gonna, I think I'm gonna pop back in once they fix a couple of the issues with the multiplayer stuff, but, um, I got, in my personal [00:28:30] game, I got all the way down to the core, I didn't get to do anything in the core because I like, I keep dying 

[00:28:35] Josh: on like, what, the second, Well, the thing is, is that it has these, uh, it has the mods down there, and if you don't, if you don't disable the mods on the earlier stages on your way down there, Yep.

[00:28:44] Then you basically just won't be able to do it. And we didn't realize that until we got there. Oh yeah, there's stuff down there. It's going to reduce your damage by like 50%. And if you don't like disable those somewhere along the way, um, then, uh, they're going to make the core [00:29:00] like infinite, basically like impossible for you.

[00:29:03] Charlie: So you have to disable us, that's correct. Yeah, 

[00:29:06] Josh: yeah, we didn't. We didn't either. So we, I mean, that's tower. That's tower defense games, right? Like the whole point is that you're supposed to get to a certain point and then realize like, oh shit, we actually need to. do it this way instead. And, uh, I find some, okay, so I find that there's like probably three weapons that are OP and then the rest of them suck asshole, which is kind of [00:29:30] stupid.

[00:29:32] Charlie: yeah, I'm a big fan of like the fire shotgun or the shotgun style, uh, weapons. Those are super. 

[00:29:37] Josh: Yeah. So like, The ones that suck are like the, the, uh, rail guns and things like that. The ones that you have to charge up the charge, you're way too slow. Like they're just way too slow. Like you just can't, they don't do enough damage.

[00:29:49] And, uh, but then if you get like the, so I, I usually like to get the, um. What is it? The one that shoots the balls of lightning and the light, the balls of [00:30:00] lightning explode like, like in a radius. Oh, that one's my favorite by a long shot. I don't know that one. Yeah, that one's my, my ultimate favorite. And, uh.

[00:30:07] Yeah, 30 bucks. I think it's a pretty good game. Um, other than that, I've been playing a lot of, uh, the Pokemon trading card game. Uh, I actually have, well, I was supposed to play in this tournament. There's this, uh, online league that's called limitless. Uh, they actually, it's not smart. It's not a small work by any means.

[00:30:26] They have like a whole Bradley Cooper. Oh, yeah. [00:30:30] Yeah. Bradley Cooper's the, uh, CEO. No, um, it, uh, it's like an actual tournament league. You know, they, they rank people and they, I mean, the prizes are, they give out like, you know, online code cards and stuff like that. But, um, I was supposed to play it as this last Wednesday and they canceled it because of a maintenance.

[00:30:46] So, um, I'm looking forward to trying it out this week. Hopefully. And, um, see, see if I get spanked or not. I find, Ashley, do you find sometimes, like, when you play these games, you overthink what you're [00:31:00] doing? And, uh.

[00:35:08] Uh, hopefully they fix that, but in terms of gameplay, like, it's fun, like, I'm almost level 90, I haven't really played that much this season, I've probably played like 25 hours. But it's been, um, it's been, it's been, yeah, this is just the episode of, of the song reference, [00:35:30] but, um, the, uh, it is, it's just been, I've been playing a lightning ball, uh, sorcerer and it's just been, it's, I don't know, it's just been super fun.

[00:35:41] Like it just feels like Diablo. Um, and how it should be like, if you, if you have any sort of like wants to go, well, I'm wondering what Diablo four is like, it's just, it honestly, this season is just excellent. And I'm having a lot of fun with it. The vampire vampiric powers are super fun, uh, super OP. And I liked the [00:36:00] fact that the developers are just like, yeah, I'm glad people are having fun.

[00:36:02] No, we're not going to nerf anything. Enjoy how fat have at it. Like it's tight. It's going to be. You know, that's the whole point of Seasons. They're around for three months, and then you do something else. And, yeah. Uh, the new bosses are, are fun to fight. And you have something else to do. I like that they're bringing back some stuff with, like, Varshahn and, um, like, how you, like, summon him.

[00:36:22] You can fight Durial for some uber uniques. Um, it's been good. I've been really enjoying it. I'm just, I found that there's a [00:36:30] new, there's a new, uh, ice, um, build that somebody has been finding. And I have all the, the uniques needed to make it work. [00:39:05] Like I said, the nostalgia just goes away So, I don't know. I kind of i'm kind of looking at it as like the end of my classic days, but there are rumors You know, hold on. A new classic. Classic that there is going, that there are rumors that they are announcing classic Plus. That's a Blis con coming up.

[00:39:24] That's a bead. So there, there are a lot of, there are probably three or [00:39:30] four raids in classic that were never finished and they were supposed to be what? What is, they were supposed to be a part of what Burning Crusade is, but Burning Crusade got rushed to production because of how successful the game was at the time, and they wanted to rope people in and sell more.

[00:39:52] So they halted production. Like there's a whole Scarlet Crusade raid where like, I don't remember. I mean, do you remember [00:40:00] playing classic while? Yeah. Classic. Classic. Classic. Do you remember like the Scarlet Monastery? Do you remember like the Scarlet Monastery? Where like Captain Motorane and Lady... Yeah, like level like 18 or something like that.
