Speaker 1 (00:00:00): What's up Jerry. Oh, okay. I'm just kidding. Okay. Do you want to do it? Do you want to do it? I was waiting for you to get out. I'm not looking at you. Are you sure? Could you actually tell from that looking at you? I am. I can, yes. Are you sure? Are you sure you're ready? You're a handsome man. Speaker 2 (00:00:36): [inaudible] Speaker 1 (00:00:36): up everybody and welcome to the overachievers gaming podcast, the Marvel strike force insider edition number 16. This week I am joined as always by Ashley pastrami, the one foot deli meats, uh, as always, and a chef, Rondo. And uh, I am VASH and this week we are joined by Wolver Thor. Welcome everybody. Thanks for joining us this week. You can find us on Instagram at OJI podcast, sorry. O G. dot. Podcast. Our Twitter is overachievers P or website is being overachiever.com, where you get this episode and every episode of where we talk about Marvel strike force, some one-foot, deli meats, some new chef, delicacies. Sometimes we talk about video games. Um, sometimes Marvel strike force. This time we're talking about Marvel strike force. You can also find our discord where we talk about literally everything. We're just hanging out, talk some shit, have some fun. Sometimes we do film talk and some other things. Speaker 1 (00:01:31): Anyway, that'll be in the link below. You can find a discord there as well as, um, some other links and some all of our affiliates with a, you know, we don't have any official sponsors yet, but, um, we're getting there. We're getting there. We just have some, uh, affiliate link. So if you want to try game fly free for a month, you can try it with our affiliate link below. Anyway, that's it. That's all. I got a Woolworth, we're working. People find you streaming YouTube, all that fun stuff. You can find me on my YouTube. Excuse me. You can find me on my YouTube channel. I'm just search Wolver Thor on there. And for Twitch, I S I'm uh, it's probably better to come to my discord to figure out what I'm going to stream, but I am Twitch, uh, Wolver Thor official. Um, but yeah, that's, that's mainly it. Speaker 1 (00:02:14): I've got some Twitter and Facebook, but that's not, I'm not as frequent on those. And I think the best way to really get in touch with me is, uh, on discord and then, you know, to channel. Yeah, we're, we're pretty active on discard. I will have to say that. And like, you know, our discord is kind of blown up a little bit. I'm, I'm kind of excited with all the people who've come through and whatnot and metal is easily one of the, I was talking to. Yeah, he's a cool guy. He's, he's been on the podcast a few times talking about his, his guides that he likes to write out for a while now. The legendaries come out. Yeah, it's great. He's a big, um, he's a big contributor to our discord. He's a good guy in general, just loves talking about the game and everything like that. So we like having them on there. We like have him on the podcast and, um, and yeah, well that's tough this week. Speaker 3 (00:03:00): I think really going to focus more on the fix MSF movement that's been going about. Um, [inaudible] you've been kind of a forefront of all of that with everything that's been going on. I think a, I dunno if that's expected, unexpected, but like we're kind of involved in the, the content creator section of the, uh, the movement as well. So it's been, um, it's, it's been refreshing to see everyone kind of stand their ground a little bit. I don't know what you guys think, but I, at least for, um, from my perspective, I've, I've seen people not give in when the new characters have been released except for me by accident. But, you know, that's, Speaker 4 (00:03:37): it happens. I don't buy shit. I'll just go ahead and say it. There you go. Yeah, I mean, and that's good for me. One of the real revealing moments was, um, I mean with the Cyclops offer, you know, not buying it. And, you know, I, I went through withdrawals and had to get, I got the shakes for four days and, you know, it was like, Oh my God, what am I going to do? And then what I realized recently and I um, this is not intended to be self promo, but I did a video on the, the tracking, you know, I do the, I do a lot of math. You can sell promo, you all you want here did this awesome video, which everybody should go check out right there we go. Um, and I like to do math stuff, spreadsheet stuff typically. So I understand how to track and be as efficient as I can in the game. Speaker 4 (00:04:20): You're the reason I've been good at games all these years. It's 100% means nobody else can do math for shit. So I, what I realize though is like, man, no, granted I had to blitz like a mad man for these, you know, cyclone, a Cyclops blitzes, but I was like, I could get a five star Cyclops for free. And I'm like, why? Why is there this drive and need to buy? Like why did I feel like I had to buy this guy? And I'm just, and I kept, I started sharing my guys if you could blitz a good amount and just drop down to tier one through four where you don't really have to think about it and just auto, you can have a five star site. Cops are not spend any money. And that for me felt really good. Um, Speaker 3 (00:05:00): yeah my screen time went down by 20% over the last two weeks. Like it's crazy. Like I too was kind of feeling kind of like, Oh all these do characters are out and blah blah blah. And then I realized I have so many tunes to work on so many teams to work on the now. I mean we'll get into what's, what's happened in the recap because there's so much that happened in the last two weeks. Like it's a ridiculous amount of stuff to talk about. But like you know, now that what continents are going to be required for this new events, that's like now I've switched my focus from supernatural to what condoms. Speaker 5 (00:05:32): I would love to talk about that real quick cause I'm really curious in terms of, so with them wanting, with condoms being a required team, uh, for some, for some unlocked stuff and then also for DD three in terms of having to have a different, uh, team, a required team for a couple sets of nodes. Right. I feel like for the longest time we've been approaching game, Speaker 6 (00:05:58): uh, as you don't have to dump resources into all characters, right? Like you just, it's a, it's a certain set that matter, blah, blah blah. And it seems like this is their way of being like upgrade all your characters, use all these abilities or ability, maths, use all this gold, blah, blah, blah. And I'm fine with that. I'm fine with them being like, make your characters better. You should always be thriving to have the best of Eddie care to blah, blah, blah. But that just means there better be more output of this stuff. Right? I mean, I don't give a shit. I'll upgrade with cotton still kingdom come if I have the ability to do it, that's the stands. I'm only doing that for the teams that matter the most for me, mostly in war, in raid, stuff like that. So I don't care. I'll do it. Speaker 6 (00:06:39): But like don't make this hard. That's all. Well here's my thing. Okay. So like I just finished getting my as guardians and my uh, Oh my God, he has guardians and fantastic four. So like they're all tier 11 tier tennis, you know, still need to get a lot of levels on. Now I'm going to go do the [inaudible] and they'll come some stocks, asshole dude, they're literally one of the worst teams. They're kinda deep bends, right? Only because they force, you know this, this is a shitty reason, but only because they force you to use certain teams that you might would want to use on them on a better, on a better day. I'll say this much, which sucks. Sale don't be right. It still sucks at the lemon tree that I'm at. I fall, I find that if I come across a big Wilcon and team, I just shit on it with like very, very with ease. Speaker 6 (00:07:29): Cause it's, there's nothing, if you survive the first two turns, they're done zone man. Like they're not. And they're not like the, as guardian team where their first two turns really pack a punch. Their first two turns are like we're gonna put defense up on everybody. But [inaudible] gonna put Toms on. Yeah, what's a black Panther's going to do? A big AOE, but then he can't do shit for four more turns. So like it's just not, to me it's like a complete waste of resources because that team was designed to be a raid team and they are not, the biggest problem is that like you have them basically backtracking and saying like, okay, what team can we give to people that they're, that they're not working on actively as it is that we can kind of get them to work on so that they at the last minute have to either buy gold, buy shit, buy whatever it is to get them up at the last minute. Because most people are skipping over them to work on supernatural and anything. Literally. Like that's the bummer. Cause realistically if both Killmonger and um, black Panther weren't so squishy, they probably would be an okay team. White Panther at a high level does deal some really strong damage, but he just directs me. Speaker 6 (00:08:42): But, but it's just that the team falls short of being anything compared to like the seven or eight synergistic teams that I can think of if a war's off the top of my head that I have for offense, it's just their, they're trash by comparison. Oh yeah. Speaker 7 (00:08:56): But I put mom on defense because I got a 90 K Shuri so like you know, I let her show there and you know, I get victory once in a while. Speaker 5 (00:09:04): Yeah. But the thing is, and that's what I'm saying is this is a shitty defense strategy, but that 90 K Sheree, what kind of team you have probably forces someone to use something a little stronger, 100% and that's what's that? That is a, that sucks as a defense strategy, but it still is a strategy. You might have to use a stronger team on that than they would, you know, then they're one less strong team down to go against whatever other team you got chill, you know? Yup. Speaker 4 (00:09:30): Well, and to your original point, Ash, like, uh, the way I look at the is that everybody keeps saying you don't need to, or not everybody, but there's a select part of the community that it keeps saying, you know, you don't need to build everybody up. You don't need to build a rule up. And I've not done though actual actual math behind this, but I really think you're right that the game does. And I, again, I haven't proven this yet, but, um, I, I'm looking at a spreadsheet that I have in the middle of to see exactly what it is because the game absolutely feels like it makes you who's, what's the characters that no one's really building up right now. Let's pick them. You know? So that's a very big counter to that point. But again, it's only a feeling. So I really want to see if I can get some math behind that. Speaker 7 (00:10:14): And a man that's not even a feeling dog. That's like almost proven. If you look at no record, you know, cause it's, it is truly an opinion at the end of the day. Right. You know, one cannot help but stand to reason that they sit down in these boardroom meetings and they're like, well I'm going to say it this way, but well, how can we fuck our player base today? Everybody? Oh Hey, do I need for Nick fury, let's pick the most obscure team that literally nobody is working on. Which is Curry because like people were thinking, aim is going to be for the MODOK hydro is going to be for red school. Nobody in their right mind was thinking that Cree was going to be worth anything. And every time they've released a character, it's always, what are the most dog shit characters in the game that nobody's used. Speaker 4 (00:10:58): Yeah. Yeah. But the good thing is you can then work on the dog shit characters because at some point they're going to be useful. Speaker 7 (00:11:03): Oh, okay. I will. I mean, can we say that about the Ravagers can we say that about Speaker 4 (00:11:07): probably you always have, we have laser phase or a taser phase coming [inaudible] Speaker 5 (00:11:12): I think, I think, but here's the thing. Um, there are so many characters in this universe that we, that we're all a part of, uh, that late, they could just constantly keep adding. Speaker 4 (00:11:23): Yeah. Look at future fight. They're doing it. They're constantly, they're made their own characters and own comics for that game. So I'm surprised that they probably won't. Um, I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same for strike force in the future. Speaker 5 (00:11:34): Excuse me. [inaudible] GT says, and the funny thing about fury is that Cree were pretty awesome. Prelaunch. Cree actually is pretty, I think, priests pretty good now. And is it like, is it ultimate team, a, uh, as guardian killer or something library Speaker 7 (00:11:49): for it? It's got ultra ultimate core AF. Ronin Minerva Speaker 6 (00:11:56): is the other one that, Oh yeah, that's a van there. So it's a kind of a hybrid and they're pretty strong for as guardian counter, right. Or something, or way I wouldn't go on record calling that strong. I'd go on record on potentially being able to beat it. It could definitely stand up against a punch down. Like if you're going to punch down against him as guardian team, maybe like 30 40 K but I do not believe you could like square up against an his guardian team with them. Like they might, you might. Maybe if you get lucky, maybe if the enemy has like all the red stars loaded on the Loki and everybody else is kind of weak. There's the Thor stronger, screwed, screwed dude that the Thor being the strongest is definitely, I mean a scary thing just because so much damage. You know, it's crazy how strong that team is. Yeah, it's fun. Fun to play. Even though we can't play the defense. You got to think about how many thoughts, how many people pulled like five, six, seven red stars on Thor back in the day and they're like, man, dog shit man. Cause I have a, I have a buddy of mine, he opened up a six red star or like way back in the day and he was just like, dude, we would store. And then now it's like King dangling on defense. Excuse me, King being going, man, that's great. So Speaker 1 (00:13:17): recapping the last two weeks in which we have a lot to discuss about the recap and everything like that because you know, we only do this podcast every two weeks because life and everything like that. So let's talk a little bit about, Oh man, there's so much to talk about. Let's talk a little bit about the proposed Redstar changes. Literally [inaudible] podcast. Did we go and do all of, Speaker 6 (00:13:44): uh, the proposed stuff that's been brought up so far? There actually is a, there is a little list, uh, that, uh, someone put together as in things that were proposed to be fixed via the fixing this movement and things that they've addressed. Uh, Speaker 1 (00:14:00): I also have a cheat sheet for that based on you of Oh yeah. You're looking at the same one in the same channel, right? Yeah, I've got that up on the side too. Just Speaker 6 (00:14:09): I w I wouldn't mind, uh, besides, I think we should go into the red star further, but I wouldn't mind actually with you guys talking about is 10 things. Yeah. Where's this, where's this list? We've got to get you, it's in a specific channel, um, on discord. Um, that basically, I don't remember if I was [inaudible] Speaker 1 (00:14:28): first one or someone put us, but it's basically so that first manifesto, so to speak, uh, that fates, his letter, um, that he put out had a bunch of general broad topics that were, what I called concerns of the game. And then, so if you go through this list Speaker 6 (00:14:44): and I'll say, I chef, I think I've got you on discord. Um, if I don't, I'll PM you at right now. Um, and then it's basically, are these Speaker 1 (00:14:51): things discussed, talked about what are the plans that we've heard from Fox next? So gotcha. Um, I think we've chatted to four. Yeah, there you are. All right, so I'm gonna, I'm going to send it to you right now. Let's see. Let's talk about the proposed Redstar changes. And what not. So we've, we've had something that's by the time this podcast comes out, it'll come out on Tuesday essentially. Uh, the next Friday, the 21st I believe will be when they're saying you're gonna fix red. Sorry. So the main thing that they do that red stars do now is the power gap between four and six red star. There are actually four and seven red, sorry, I would say is way crazy. So like four red stars, you only get a 20% increase. Whereas the new, they have new changes that they're proposing that will increase that for red star essentially to what? Speaker 1 (00:15:38): 35% I want to say stat increase, something like that. Yeah, I think it's 40 for the four. But I could be wrong. I'm trying to find that list right now. Yeah. But essentially as, as it is right now, it's like 5% 10% 15% 20% 50% then a 75% if I remember, or unless I might be missing a tee or somewhere. But essentially it's like really small and then they're like a huge power curve. And then the new update and you know that they're going to do for it, whatever. We'll propose a fix to, um, you know, to help with that power curve and make it more of a, you know, not, not so exponential with the higher red stars. So, which I think is interesting, you know, cause I have a couple of characters at six red stars, so like instead of them being at 50% stat increase, now they'll be at 60%, I think is a, is a, a step in the right direction for what they're proposing to fix. Speaker 1 (00:16:26): But you know, or however they want to update it. But now with that all happening in the next couple of weeks or you know, within a week, I would say, I'm curious to see what they do, uh, with these proposed changes and whatever they say, cause they, they addressed in their blog themselves. You know, red stars are a problem and they're trying to figure it out. But I don't know if they're just like treading water at this point. If they're like scrambling to fix something or is it because this boycott has put pressure on them to do something or maybe they're stop being complacent. I don't know. What do you guys think about these proponents changer for me? Ask you a question. As far as timing. If you think if they were planned, they'd need, and so the end of April to test. Yeah. What do you mean? How are they going to test it? Speaker 1 (00:17:12): They don't test anything they just released and typically that's true. Right? But in theory, let's just for a second believe exactly what the blog post says. Right, right, right, right. They're saying that they need time to look at this until the end of April, which is, you know, four to six weeks. However you look at it, six plus weeks. Is that, is that, is that planning in your mind, do you think you'd have another four to six, you know, two months basically to do something like this for testing if you had a plan? I'm not a coder. I'm not a computer person, so I don't know. I've had some people tell me, but I'm curious to see what you guys think if that's something that would've been planned or not. I Speaker 3 (00:17:50): think it's forward. I think it's reactionary. I think that that they're seeing this, like they may have had like a, you know, here's a bullet point that we want to work on, that kind of thing. And now that this is like, they've had a hardcore reaction, it's like as almost like, Hey, here's another team you have to work on. You've got to shift gears all of a sudden and then work on it. Yeah. I feel like this movement has like shifted their gears really quickly to help bring, uh, help them, you know, with their gold crunch that they have and then continue on. It's like, Oh, like red stars are a problem that's fixed this like ASAP. So let's give, you know, so we can continue to dangle the carrot for everybody. Yeah. I feel like that's what it is. So like having them say to four to six weeks is what they need to test. Speaker 3 (00:18:33): It feels right in terms of, uh, you know, here's crunch time. I'm sure there's going to be some people putting in some overtime hours at Fox next. Maybe they might hire a few people with the millions of dollars that they made. You know, having forbid use some of the overhead that they have can break in the budget over there. But that's what I feel like it is. I feel like it's reactionary, uh, in that time frame feels about right for the coding it would take to do that as well as to, you know, to test it and make sure it doesn't break other things, which probably will, but you never know. Right. Speaker 5 (00:19:03): I think I, yeah, I don't know. I would like to think that they were already working on this, but yeah, you're probably right. Maybe they were just like thinking about it and then like, Oh I guess you have to do this now. Speaker 7 (00:19:13): I don't think they were working on it cause I think they've been, they've had their hands full with the trying to figure out what kind of bullshit rewards they're going to release with [inaudible]. And there's also the fact that they have been trying to release ISO eight for a long time and they've released two failed versions of it on their test servers where, you know, I know that Legion, a cabal and pencil hole players have been trying it out for them and they've already fucked it up twice. So now they're on like their third or fourth, you know, round, we'll call it, of trying to get this stuff pushed out because it's their next is their next moneymaker and they, this movement 1000% has, has taken a toll on their numbers, like 1000% so yeah, they're definitely in a reactionary point where they're like, okay guys, crunch time. Speaker 7 (00:19:57): Like we gotta we gotta grind this out because you know, we're losing a lot of money, we're losing players, you know, we can't, the worst part is that they're gonna, they're not gonna be able to retain them or bring them back. You know, cause a lot of people are like, fuck this. Like I'm done with this shit. Like all of these empty promises and you know, for the amount of times they've released code and it doesn't, it doesn't work. You know, like that's why I made the joke, because I do work in programming and like my friends and I have talked about this and it's like if you put, if I were to deploy bad code, I would lose that contract with those people. They would [inaudible] me instantaneously because there are so many people out there that do this for a living, but there's no fucking reason why it should happen on a game is bringing in 190 fucking million dollars. Speaker 7 (00:20:40): Like it's just, it doesn't make sense. You know what I'm saying? And like I say, it's like 10 to 11 I believe. And not all, not all of them are developers. You know, that includes like marketing account, you know, you've got all those things and 11 people do they for the amount of money that they make off this game, they should have 11 fucking devs working on this game. Not, you know, I don't know. That's my opinion. Because you could, you could have three testers, you don't have to test with us, you don't have to test with pants, a Hawkin Legion, a cabal. Like you can have your own internal team of people and you don't even need him a lot of money. But yeah, that's my opinion. Hmm. Speaker 4 (00:21:19): Yeah. No, and that's, that's kinda where I was at with it. I mean, again, I wasn't a computer person, but I was like, alright, I'm happy. I'm super happy. They reached out and were like, Hey guys, this is the stuff where, you know, we're going to work on, um, you know, as far as the specifics, the curve, I'm, to me, that points in the right direction and I want to give credit where credit's due, is that they're obviously working on stuff, which is nice, uh, specific to what the movements kind of, you know, pushing for so that I, you know, they could just give us the middle finger and we could give it back and walk away from the game. So I think they understand like, let's try to make something work here. Uh, which is good. Uh, it's a little bit self serving, so I'm not gonna act like, you know, they were like doing it for the, you know, it's like, well, they got to do it to make themselves money too. Speaker 4 (00:22:00): So, um, but you know, I don't know. I just, I, I do struggle a little bit with, you know, can we do a little bit more here? Um, I, I don't want to again, sound like guys what's promised Providence. It's been, you know, and I guess Setons video was really telling for me. Like I was already, you know, saying this isn't right and video, you know, this isn't right. Gold sucks. This sucks. God, I'm hitting a wall, I can't do this. And then his video came out after the movement and was kinda like, I'm playing this for 18 months and uh, kinda looks the same. I'll play the new characters. It's like, Oh my gosh. Speaker 5 (00:22:35): Real quick, just to interject, I'm a, just let you guys know I'm copying the questions from the chat down on [inaudible]. I was just doing that. Okay, cool. Yeah, I'll, I'll take care of that. So when we come to Q and a big answer to that. Um, Speaker 3 (00:22:46): and for those who are religious listening in on the podcast when it's released, we actually do this live on Sundays, so the Sunday before or Saturday, Sunday we'll post it and all the content creators when we're in the discord channels when we're going live with it. So if you want to come in and be a part and have your questions asked, you can either use the hashtag ask OGP or you can just come in and use a Q in the chat. It will copy everyone's questions down and we will get to all of them. Don't worry. Speaker 5 (00:23:09): Oh yeah. Well I feel, I feel you buddy. I think the biggest thing for me as a Mo like quit, like mostly free to play. Like I wouldn't even say I'm up to dolphin. I have not spent. Yeah. If I like, you know, I'll buy some powder cores here and then whatever. Um, the biggest thing for me is, I said this earlier before we were recording is I don't mind, I don't mind grinding for things. I don't mind waiting and doing the whole deal. I don't mind any of that. What I mind is predatory behavior. I mind gambling in a video game, especially when it costs so much. And I mind the fact that it's, it's more, it's more than a grind. Like for somebody at Spiderman, I'm like nowhere near Symbio Spiderman, which sucks. Like the milestone thing is going very slow. For me, it's only one, one shard per like four milestone lines. Speaker 5 (00:23:58): You know what I mean? Like I mind that I mind what happened with black bolt. I mind, uh, the ma not, I wouldn't say miss, maybe not misdirection. That might be too nefarious to say, uh, I mind what happened with Hela or not. Hell, um, yeah, I guess like, like the, the opportunities to get hella shards before black bolt and stuff like that. Um, I might not stuff, I think that that is, it's not, it's not cool. It's not fair to a lot of people. And I, I get it. Um, you got to make money and you gotta like whales wheels, we'll buy stuff and that's fine, whatever. But whale's going to will, but I don't appreciate that and I really don't appreciate how much of this games like our success in this game depends on gambling. Like straight up. Like I don't care about red as being a thing. Speaker 5 (00:24:48): I care that the certificate to get or the, it's so difficult. Like the duplication is so often, you know, I care that I've never once opened up since it's come about a six red star orb or especially in a seven ReadiSorb Jesus Christ. I have a one five star red star orbit and that has finally come like a week ago after it first being implemented. Um, yeah. Uh, no, I think it wasn't actually, I think actually I got Cyclops. No, it's actually pretty good. I got a a CBO cider man. I knew it was nuclear. What am I ever going to see it? What am I, what am I ever going to see in you? Let's look real quick. I went, what my, and granted I will say I have been going slow on that, um, on that milestone stuff because I've been saving all my stuff cause I'm about to get Phoenix finally a year later I've started the game, I'm probably about to get Phoenix, you know what I mean? So like, um, yeah, the weight. I just really mind when things are predatory, the way they give things. Speaker 6 (00:25:48): Well and, and I agree with that. And one of the things that popped into my head is you're, as you were talking about symbiotic Spiderman is, let's say you had Symbio Spiderman right now. Yeah. And you had to make gear to your 11 or 12. What would you be doing with them? Right. Blitz, I guess. Yeah, I guess. Okay, cool. You asked. I'm just telling you that's exactly my point. I know. It's like I got to get them, I got to get them. Why I gotta get Cyclops. Why? Oh, it's like a team that I can already shit on in the Wars. Speaker 5 (00:26:17): He's, he's still, he is, he, it will be strong in raids and it will make spider verse strong and raids, uh, besides DD three, obviously, Speaker 6 (00:26:26): is there a way that you're struggling on that you need a spider verse team at the moment? Well, I'm still, I'm still, I'm still lowered. Speaker 5 (00:26:34): I'm only 2.7 TCP, so like, um, if anything requires city stuff, it's my, I have a two 50 or two 40, uh, defenders. But if it makes you feel Speaker 3 (00:26:47): better, I'm in the same boat as you. What TCP was? No, as city-wise I'm about WWII or CP or, uh, and I'm in the same boat with Citi. Speaker 5 (00:26:57): Right, right, right. So, I don't know. I get it. I also, I'm a big fan of like the brawler team, so maybe I could throw him in there for like war stuff or, you know. Yeah, I'd agree with that. Yeah. Yeah. I dunno. I, I guess it's more, yeah, you're right though. Like it's not too harsh to not have them immediately, but I think that the arguments still stands that like someone like me who like doesn't really dumb. Cause if I really, I'm at 19 out of a hundred for him, let's see where I'm at and how, how long is this event for? We have the 24 days. Yeah. And it's allegedly reoccurring. Oh really? Speaker 3 (00:27:33): Supposedly. Yeah. They say they say that it's going to reoccur like two more times and whatnot. So unless you directly bought the offer like I did, um, it's, I feel like it's almost impossible, but like, you know, um, that's, that's well, I mean I, I got a refund and whatnot, so cause I, I'm, we're in full, full support of the, of the boycott movement. We're trying to do that and whatnot. But to be completely transparent, like I did buy the offer, I did get a refund for it. Um, I was waiting Speaker 5 (00:28:04): receipt and the, uh, refund, uh, company, Speaker 3 (00:28:06): I did not open the orbs. They took the orbs away. So, um, so I just had the charge. So that's pretty much a man of integrity. That's right. I just didn't want to like, you know, there's some people who have been like, you know, Oh, whatever, like you bought the offer. I'm like, well, I didn't, I didn't open anything. I said, yes, I did buy the opera, but I also run the risk of having my account completely banned for asking. So there's that, wait, what? Is it a banning or is it like releasing you from the [inaudible] Speaker 5 (00:28:33): grasp of [inaudible] you asked for a refund, they get banned. New. What is that in the contract or contractors? I don't understand why. Speaker 3 (00:28:42): Yeah, yeah. They have to offer a reef. They have to offer the a, the refund because they are legally obligated to return goods and services provided by their, by their services, by their company. But um, by doing so multiple times, you can be subject to Bannon. Yes, it is a thing. I did not know that. That's insane. Yeah. So, but like, I mean that's also with caution. So refund with caution, but also if you're going to do it, don't do it on Android. If you're going to refund, do it on iOS or Amazon because then it's anonymous. But Google play links your Gmail account, your Google play with your strike person counts. Then they'll know who you are. So FYI, 200, 200 IQ play right there. But anyway, continuing on with all the new stuff that's going on, there was obviously some good Spiderman milestones have come out, which we've been talking about. Speaker 3 (00:29:33): Uh, there's been the February 14th, uh, blitz thing with Cyclops and now we can all get Cyclops by doing tons and tons and tons and tons and tons and of blitzing. So you can get, I think if somebody did the math and you need what, 77 orbs to open to unlock, um, all the blitz or the all the or milestones around this, right around that. Yeah. And so you need to do I think roughly a hundred blitz yet to win a hundred blitz fights a day in order to, uh, lock them all if you don't want to buy any of the orbs and whatnot. So I feel that's kind of a little excessive, even though I've been blitzing my crazy. I, I've met like 8 million for this blitz already and I've just been doing one through four. As soon as I hit, go through my blitz order, like I'll go through all my level one tunes, drop down, drop back down to rank one and do all that stuff. Um, and just blitzing. But it's just been, I don't know, it's been a lot of Ottaway and I don't really care about blitz and also its vision, which I guess for some people is good if you don't have that. Speaker 6 (00:30:30): I don't even have that mistake node at three stars. So I can't even farm vision. Like this is great for you. That's fun. This is also one of the highest I've listed. I bet I'm like 3 million on it, which I don't usually do. Stop at. Speaker 3 (00:30:43): Well now you know that you can get that by just going all the way back down and just hitting auto and doing all this stuff. So there you go. Yeah. Yeah. If you drop all the way back down to rank one that you purposefully fail, they just FYI, people don't know they made it. So that way you can actually lose a battle in, uh, and you know, in, in force lose as opposed to having to play the, the note out, which I think is great that they did that, you know, six months ago and whatnot. But anyway, uh, they also added hero's chapter seven, which is a made Blackwood of farmable finally after two years of playing and also they gave Colossus a no to be able to be farmed. So and I, Speaker 6 (00:31:22): yeah, it's been farmable this whole time just getting order the orbs dude, come on bro. Opening makeup man bro. Bra is, he is, he isn't, he's in here at seven though. Yeah, he's the last note. I can't get past, uh, the first city node, so that's where I'm at. Just whale harder bro. Boil harder, man. More money. Learn how to hit that buy now button with fucking strategy. Dude. Laser focus opening. I've muted. I muted all of you except for over three. Thank you. I should have done that back when I was waving at the camera Speaker 3 (00:32:03): there, there, there was that. And then we have um, uh, what, what do we have before we had the blitz and mr fantastic, which we had for our cooldowns, which I personally am a fan of. Huge fan of it and a 5% or whatever that one is. I dunno, I got 45, mr. Fantastic. It's the best I've done in like I got her fantastic pool of mr. Fantastic charts. Yeah. Yeah. But that was a, so I thought that was great cause you know, all, all of us with the exception of a Dom had been playing since the games iteration essentially. So it's, you know, we all remember the six hour cooldowns and how it started. It was awesome. It was great. And then we had the iteration of the two hour, which is probably six months after the game released, which, you know, started everybody doing this crazy blitzes and whatnot. So, and then there was that brief stint of the two hour Deadpool rage, if you guys remember. Oh my God. Yes dude. That was the worst. Who thought that was a good idea. I don't want to know. Speaker 6 (00:33:03): That was definitely one of those ones with the herbs, the meme where it's like they're in the board room and they've got the two answers. The third one, and it's like the first person, the second person. We're definitely like, Hey, we should have done it to hour rate. Yeah. This is a great idea. If there are guys like, funny, this is not a good idea Speaker 3 (00:33:19): out the window. We're going to do this anyways. Yeah. But anyway, there's, there's, yeah, they were, they were good. I think they were like playing, I don't know what they were trying to do with that. Maybe play tests and stuff and figure something out. I dunno. Anywhere. Uh, what else am I missing? Those stuff that happened the past two weeks. Um, Phoenix, legendary events happening soon. Thank God. Donald [inaudible] challenged tears. Oh, we got new challenge tears, which suck. They're very hard by, I liked the difficulty, but I just wish it was a little less difficult. Like a little less dependent on orangy. Yeah. I mean I'm, I'm trying these, these, uh, tier 11 stuff today with a 350K cosmic team and couldn't do it. Just insane. I got to say the only one that I was able to do the final tier of was the orb one. Speaker 3 (00:34:07): So for me, I'm like, that's the only one I really wanted to do anyways. Yeah, the Orban catalyst one, I uh, I was able to get no problem like all the way to tier 12 cause I just, you know, I just was able to get it on black voters. What was your cosmic team power on that? As soon as the training myths and the training match? Yeah, I think it's like 350 K something like that. I was not able to get it. I'll hit you up later or I'll link a YouTube later today where I show you my 360 K team that beats tier 12. The final one for three-star. Ooh, I'll try it cause I can't get, I can't get the a, I can't even do tier 11. I can get one star on it. So I'm curious to see. We don't allow self-promotion here. Okay. So anyway, if you go to my website, Speaker 6 (00:34:50): my PayPal is at Wolver Thor. Uh, please send, I'll take Venmo. Whatever you got. Yeah, I'll, I'll give you one [inaudible] card. $5 [inaudible] it's so funny to say, I actually always find it fascinating when I, when I talk to someone outside of New York and that they have Venmo a big shout out to that, that's telling you on you. That's all I paid for a lawyer in New York, a New York thing. I remember like in New York thing, right? Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 3 (00:35:18): Just, it feels like something that would happen in New York, but anyway. All right. Anything else I'm missing with the recap for the week before we get into the meat of everything? No. Crickets. Anybody? No. Okay, great. All right, so three. Oh yeah, I guess we know anything about that. Yeah. Well, dark. Charlie's pretty close. I'm not close, so I just, I just checked our dimension three in that, a guy from Japan, I don't know if you've looked at the leaderboard, he's 68% done. Yeah. So he's, he's, he's on the city nodes already at this point? Or is he going through the cosmic spending because that's going to be, well, he's, well, he's done, he's done the global nodes at this point because that's 50%. There's this first, you know, eight nodes. So they have, so he's gotta be, I'm pretty sure he's on the cosmic part at this point. Speaker 3 (00:36:09): So cosmic, he's still on cosmic. I genuinely don't know how you could even get that. I don't even know how I'm spending money. How are you kidding? Well, you can do it to like one guy TCP or something. 8.8, something like that. Oh, there's one guy who used to be the Mac mantras. Dave's Bravo or Brava. I came around prompt pronounce his name. Uh, he's also has started it. He's got six people at tier 14 at this point. So, but he, he's only doing the, up to the global at this point. He doesn't have any cosmic or anything like that. So I mean, it's possible. What a Louie said. He said that he was just refreshing this store, like kind of like how we all were for, you know, dark dimension to trying to get those maps for Minerva and everything like that. But now that, now that they've able to, now that they included the mini uniques and a higher percentage for the war store now, I mean, you can't get them in the raid, which is interesting. Speaker 3 (00:36:56): That's, there's the other thing, they added more, uh, the added orange gear in the rain storm, which has actually been great for me. Yeah. And then the added named more charge there. Um, which is funny, the character that isn't used in raids, uh, I use them in raids Gramaton in the war store too. I don't know what's covered, what's not. So I guess I don't use, yeah. And human torch and arena. So happy about that one was probably already in. Yeah, he was in Florida last time we talked. So, um, but anyway, there's a lot, a lot of stuff to recap that it happened, you know, and they're making the changes. They've, I don't know if you guys have looked at the official responses to a lot of stuff they've been talking about a lot things. I feel like if you go to our discord, you'll see in the MSF news updates, we have a section that actually will list out all of the, the things that they say officially on different discords and everything like that on the blog on it. Speaker 3 (00:37:50): The communication has really stepped up I feel like in the past two weeks. So I feel like that's a, it's a start. It's not like, Oh my God, this is the greatest thing ever. Like you guys are like, ah, you know, MSF fan boys or whatever. But like this is, it's a step in the right direction and like we've always said in the past and we've beat it over the, you know, we'd beat a dead horse like crazy. It's just tell us what's going on. Just communicate, let's talk to it. That's really all it is for the two community managers they've got, you expect one of them to try to communicate with you. I would love that. I mean, I understand what community managers are just like, they're just taking feedback and taking, you know, uh, capitalized posts from everybody and just like putting them into a spreadsheet and hitting them to the devs. Like, here's what everyone's thinking. And you have one guy who's just like, well that's great. That's great. No, cross that out. Nope, I don't care. Cause yeah. Speaker 6 (00:38:42): Oh, definitely. Probably one of the shittiest jobs I have. Is that because you're like the board who's like, don't, don't give them nothing, you know, and then you got the community, like give us everything and it's, it sucks. It sucks. Like social media, managing community, managing, all that stuff just sucks to be sex to be there. It really does. Yeah. Speaker 4 (00:39:00): I, I definitely feel for them a little bit in that regard. As much as I'll ever throw any shade towards Fox next or the message and all that. Um, there are times when if I go into that mode, I'm like, I wouldn't want that job. You know what I mean? Where it's just like, regardless of whether I think they're putting a good message out or not or that Speaker 6 (00:39:19): because it's there, it's not Cerebros message. It's not like, you know what I mean? Like it's just a messenger that's really on there and it's rough. Like whatever anyone's like, she wonder if that's like the striking reason as to why they have such a terrible or they have a lack of communication. Whereas other games that do not carry the big IP like this, they have extremely strong communication. Like I'm wondering if, because this is backed by a bigger name, they have to be super duper careful what they say. I can see then. I mean, I actually just thought about that. I don't know why, you know, I've never thought about that before, but um, it's a pretty valid point actually Speaker 4 (00:39:54): for me, it depends on any business model or who's there. It's like sometimes whether it's a, you know, 20 person shop, you could have a CEO boss, he's like, don't run anything to anybody without my approval. You know? And then there's maybe different layers of that same thing. And if that's the case, it takes forever. And it's just like the community spokesperson is like, well I need a message come on. Versus someone's like, look, I trust you. You know, I don't know if you're in a, if you guys ever seen or heard of the book speed of trust, it's a business book anyway. It's not self broadening cause I didn't write it. But um, it's actually the concept behind it is like businesses function faster if you trust each other and if there's a trust built there because you know, people can do their job. You don't have to go through this layer of these layers of like approval or do things. And it also empowers employers, employees to do their jobs. So anyway, uh, you know, that that concept could absolutely apply, whether it's Disney or Marvel or, you know, just a jerk CEO. You know what I mean? Speaker 3 (00:40:51): Captain for the film industry all the time too. People micromanage the shit out of everybody. It's just, it's like, it's, you know, it's just that thing of like, do you trust people? Do you hire the people to do the job? Or like, do you need to be in control because you're insecure about your abilities to do your job? Right. You know, it's, it's a personality comes down to a lot of things in a lot of different industries, but like, you also have to realize that the business hierarchies of, you know, where you work also might apply to other places or not apply. So, you know, you just never know. So it's, you know, everybody's workforces, workplaces different I suppose. But yeah, it's just, just how that works. Uh, occasionally. So, but uh, yeah. Anyway, I wanted to talk a lot about or talk some, maybe not a lot about where things are Speaker 4 (00:41:33): with the fix MSF movement and where we are and how we, how we've, um, did we talk about that? I'm not proprietary, right? This list. So just so I can explain what this list is. This is, um, if you reread the letter that was on rot, Reddit public Reddit, uh, the first one that fates put out there, this was kind of my, just summary of it. I, I summarize it down like multiple levels. And so this was my take on that list a little bit. Um, again, there's just, there's a lot of different ways to read the letter. I encourage anyone who's gonna listen or even you guys, it's like check out his letter that says what it says. You know? And so when I try to like just think about what's on there, um, you know, that's what we're talking about. So it's like, so I mean, is it proprietary? Speaker 4 (00:42:19): Kind of, we're talking about it at the moment, but so if we talk about it broadly, I think that's okay. I don't know if I'd necessarily want to go item by item per se. We get you get the gist of, you know, what the movement's really trying to do. You know what I mean? And to me it, he, I think he's summed or summarize it really good at the end as the juice has to be worth the squeeze, you know what I mean? And that's what it comes down to on so many different levels. Like, we want to be excited to spend again. It's like, it's not just about getting shit for free, it's about making it worth our dollars is really when it comes down to. And like I said, I'll spend dollars to, or I'm not trying to correct you here. I think your time and your time of your time Speaker 5 (00:42:57): because one of the biggest anti fixed the game messages and Reddit is that it's only for the wills. It's only for the wheels only we shouldn't look at, it's not, it's not the case, but it does have to be, it doesn't have to be. We do have to be, uh, uh, uh, it's important to make sure we remember that this isn't just for the whales. I know, I know that you're not thinking of that. Uh, but rhetoric matters in these situations. Cause there's going to be someone that's gonna like listen to someone, something someone says or whatever, and they'd be like, well, they see they're just talking about spending stuff. And it's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, we're not. We're not, we're not. So Speaker 4 (00:43:28): no, it's, I mean like I just mentioned like you could, you can do things with money or time. Yup. And whether your money's worth it or your time's worth that, that's what it comes down to, you know, and look seen a lot of these discussions go, um, you know, behind the scenes whether it's a DM or the content creator chat or you know, a different chat, uh, with like fates and those guys, they are not, I've not seen one thing that indicates they only care about the whales. Like anything it fates is like swinging the opposite of the spectrum going, well how is this going to affect free to play, you know, you know, and he understood, he's like, look, we've got to do this kind of together. You know, it's, it's a group effort. Cause if, I dunno, I'm, I'm kind of like a power in numbers person, you know? And I think he seems to recognize that the group seems to recognize that. Like we've got to do it as much as we can as a group. You know what I mean? So I think he's thinking that and look at any type of movement, campaign, whatever, within that same group. Like if you saw choose dis video, which was gold. Okay. Not self promotion, but if you've not seen that, please go watch that. I hold Lanka. Yeah. Speaker 3 (00:44:33): Oh my Lord. It is one of the best content I've ever seen. I came and Tony being [inaudible] you go check those things out. So anyway, he did this and he does it. He mentioned, the reason I'm bringing it up is in his video he mentions there's, he doesn't necessarily agree with all concepts of it, but some of it, and he understands that like if we're together on this and we can get something better in the game, we all benefit. So, you know, whatever we're about to talk about as far as specifics, you know, it's, it's uh, some of you might want, some of it might not want it. Some of it we might get somebody mad, not just generally speaking, we're going in a direction to try to improve the game. And that's what I mean. Cause we, the one thing we can all relate to, in my opinion is losing friends slash Alliance mates in the game because they just can't do it anymore. Speaker 3 (00:45:18): They're just like, I'm just done. We've lost three and now they even said why. But I mean three in a month, like my McMansion disappeared like a month ago. Like we just ended so over a bunch of different things, like three people quit and a bunch of people just like, well I just a, you know, it was just a landslide effect after that. So yeah. So if you see an Alliance called free wins, guess what? You get a free one today and Alliance wore you guys shoes into Freewinds. Oh yeah, that's, I have it. I have it as my account is currently holding down the Fort and that in that thing, I think we're back down to gold one at this point. So still in it. Just me. That's it. Cause my, my Mike wartime. No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, whatever. You tell me what you want, I'll hook you up. Speaker 3 (00:46:05): It'll be fine. I don't care. I'm not going to play it 38, I came to get more rewards if I want to. Dang. Anyways. So yeah, I mean there's, there's still more to be said about the movement there. Um, there's a lot going on with it. We're not, it's somebody who is like, I wouldn't say we're, we were a little bit tuned into it. Um, I'm trying to help a little bit where we can, you know, with our schedule, it's just kinda crazy in, in, in how we can, you know, make time for everything like that. But I feel like it's like a, you know, a hold strong like hold together. Like the idea is we're trying to make changes for everybody. Um, it's not just for the whales, it's for everyone. Like we have everybody in mind. All the movements has everything. We're just trying, you know, it's something that's been brought up to, you know, with a bunch of different content creators like Tony and, and burger myself, you work with or us. Speaker 3 (00:46:58): I would say not just myself, but like Austin general. Wow. I know. I'm sorry. I'm just thinking that's what happens when I drink beer on Saturday or Sunday when I haven't needed anything, I just start thinking about myself. That's how it works. Um, yeah, it's just, you know, we're all in this together and we're trying to make a better game for everybody. We're not just doing it, you know, to be selfish, like we're thinking about everybody in a long run. So for those who are saying like, Oh, it's only for the whales, that's not the case. So I in a whale and I support it. So I mean, I don't know what more I can, you know. Yeah. I mean it's just, you know, it's just, it's something that we've said in a while our a while back. Is it, the main thing that main take away is like, if you want change, you don't spend and you, you know, make a big stink about why that's the case. Speaker 3 (00:47:40): Because the biggest thing we have as consumers is we vote with our dollars. So, and like you just have to be, if you didn't want change, like don't spend say why. If you don't care, then go ahead and just continue with life as general. But like it's, it is what it is. So it's like, it's not that really, it's not that hard of a concept to understand, but like we're also trying to make it, um, clear in that we know what's to be expected and we're not trying to make it like, like seriously, like demanding and whatnot. Like, cause we understand that, uh, there are a company they have to make money, but we're also like, this shouldn't be predatory. Like, just, just, you know, make it fun and make us, give us a reason to spend. And that's really what it comes down. So that's really the main concern. I mean, I, I don't know if you want to touch on any other subjects, what were Thor of what I may have missed or, you know, misconstrued. But Speaker 4 (00:48:31): no, I think you're, I mean, and look, anytime you have a campaign, there's going to be different opinions within it. Whether it's, you know, um, you know, you me Ash fates to chef, like anybody who's involved in it, we're going to be like, well I think that that specific point stupid or I think you know, that that thing you just did is dumb and why did you do that? It's going to happen all the time. It's impossible not to cause you're, you're almost always, unless you're like fighting for your freedom of something, you know what I mean? It's like there are different aspects that are always going to be, there's going to be, let me say that differently. Is there's going to be some aspects of it that are going to be I'll call contentious. Um, and for me, you know, I'll always keep referring back to Faith's original letter, but you know, just some targeted progression. Speaker 4 (00:49:17): Some who's, and you know, as far as this whale concept goes, does orange gear effect free to play players? Yes. In my opinion, if anything I'm about to say doesn't affect a free to play players, stop me. Okay, sure, sure. So orange gear, red stars, RNG, new content, gold ability mats. I had already said gear. And red stars, release cadence buffs and raids, ISO eight reward structure. All of it. Yeah. Okay. All of those are at some point in Faith's letter and one way or another. You know what I mean? And I'm not saying they're not demands or anything, they're just things that he's discussing in the game. Totally. It's like if those don't affect for you to fight players, then fine. All right. You know what, it's all about Wells. It's all about Wells. But if those do, which I, I would argue with anybody that they affect everyone. Speaker 4 (00:50:06): Yeah. It's like guys, this is really about everybody now what they do in the game. Fine. Okay. You can have a little bit of debate how it affects the level of player a little bit. Um, but I think ultimately, you know, even if it's like, if they affect, let's say orange gear more, um, or if they introduce goal that only like the last, you know, 60% of, you know, uh, ultimate seven, then yeah. Okay. That's a, that might be a whale, a whale implementation. But I would like to think that the Fox next wouldn't do that. I would like to think, but, dot, dot, dot. Dot. Yeah, I trailed off a little bit on that one. Fair, very fair. Yeah. Well, uh, going, uh, furthermore, is there anything else that you want to say regarding the, the movement we'll, we're, before we move on to our next, the biggest thing for me is just like, you know, anybody who's involved in it, just stay patient, you know, it's like do the best you can to, hold on. Speaker 4 (00:51:04): I joked earlier about, but I really meant this, that, uh, the things that, I mean, how, how, how did you feel when you didn't unlock, you know, Cyclops. Okay. Did, is there anything that you're really missing? You know, and that's the thing that this, you know, you talk about the predatory aspects of this and that need and drive to be like, I have to buy half to buy. And it's like, do you though, do you really need to do it? Okay. And it's like, so if you get into the game and the application of the character and you're talking about side claps, you know, chef said earlier, it's like, okay, I'm going to put them on a team that's already kicking butt every word. It's really not going to do anything. Okay. And then you go to Symbio Spiderman and maybe he could help in a city node. Speaker 4 (00:51:44): Um, but you're not touching dark dimension three more than likely, uh, for quite a while months, you know, more than likely. And so it's like, do you really need these things when toad comes in, it's like, do you really need towed? When block comes in, do you really need blob? Like you probably already have someone with your, you know, Magneto, pyro and juggernaut to fill in because you've put saber tooth and mystique on marauders. There's, there's decent fill-ins for all of these things. And so to me that's where they really, they'd be in the Fox next where it's like, you know, whether it's intentional or not, and I'm not going to say what, cause I don't know. I haven't been sitting in their meetings, but that's what happens to, in my mind, our conscience is that's like, I have to have this, I have to have this. Speaker 4 (00:52:26): And from my experience, I see I don't have to have these things anymore. I don't need them. You know, I'm going to get a five star Cyclops, which is going to be fine, and I can have a five star Cyclops for six to 10 months and it's, I don't, okay, fine. Hopefully at some point I'll give them seven start a year somewhere. Shit on Colson teams. Exactly. Exactly. And I've got nowhere to put storm anyway, or storm Psylocke or Wolverine, whoever you're pulling off that team, you know, is like whoever you pull off the team, you don't really have anywhere to put them. So it's like, okay. So anyway, that's, I know that's a little bit so boxy, but I just, I want to encourage people to hold the line, you know, um, we want you to get up on that soapbox, man. I just don't, I don't know. I don't, that's the thing about this that really is kind of where my passion starts coming out about it because I just don't like that. I don't like when people get taken advantage of, so to speak, whether it's intentional or not or I don't like when people are made to feel like I have to do this, especially in a game. Again, we're not fighting for our freedom here are doing anyway. We're in a game. Speaker 1 (00:53:26): We're competing against each other. Like, do I have to be ahead of Ash and raid seasons? No, no. You, yeah. It's like, Oh my God. And think about it. Like, I'm sure you guys have been in chats. I've done. It's like, what are you doing? Like you're, you're tacking this and it's like, okay, hold on a second to take a beat. Like, all right, so we didn't 100% and this just happened us the other day. We didn't 100% on alpha because somebody had, uh, he had, he just started a new job. His boss was shadowing him all day and he couldn't finish final three notes and, and a lot of alliances, you know, you could just, what are you doing? Get outta here. And I was like, dude, what's up? And he told me and I was like, Oh, okay. All right, one day. All right, let's just move on. Speaker 1 (00:54:06): You know what I mean? And it's like, but it's like depending on where you're at in the raid season ranking somewhat, people could be freaking out about stuff like that. That's like, anyway, so that, that's my, I think that's the end of my soapbox for, and I'll probably jump back on it again later. Yeah. So I kicked your sorry ass out. No, I'm just kidding. You're already [inaudible] that. Moving on. Speaking of tone and blob, kind of moving onto what's coming up next is a, so now we have two new characters that we know about that are coming out as prayer. The, uh, the end game mail that they sent us because heaven forbid they'd tell us anything in game that has to be outside of the game, you know? Uh, so we have two new characters coming out blob and towed to fill in the other two spots for the brotherhood team. Speaker 1 (00:54:52): So I'm curious to see what the other two characters that they're going to come out with. Maybe beast and someone else. Who knows. I don't know. Let's spin the wheel of characters. I don't want [inaudible] next to the wheel of characters that we do want. Yeah, maybe beast, maybe a, I don't know. Who would you think? Well maybe red school. They red school with legendary grad school. I'm trying to think where this is. Is this this patch or the next batch? I've been saying this for so long. Well I don't see dr doom for a while now. The not in dark dimension three. Everybody was anticipating him coming out in DD three. I'm pretty sure everybody was kinda like please guys. And they were like four. Honestly. I think I all kidding aside. I think that could be an aporia ends up cause I mean you want doom, he's such a monster character in the Marvel universe. Speaker 1 (00:55:44): You need. If they don't release him in a monster way, they're missing out. Like there's so much. Yeah, it's like, so they really need to capitalize on that. And I, I, I think VASH is right. I think it could be DD for G 15 characters, Navy skill 99 99 we got plenty of gold for that. For only $99. You could get one material out of a hundred Savage. Oh man. Scope Lee, please don't listen to this. Don't worry. They don't, what are they telling her they don't. What are some things, uh, coming out that you guys are looking forward to? Is there anything that's coming out and you guys looking forward to? I personally Speaker 6 (00:56:25): [inaudible] new stuff that have been like, no, maybe that's been announced or what's coming out the new campaign for the 20 minutes that I did it. I mean, I can't, I can't complain about it because I'd been asking for that for like when they have another, they have another one coming out soon. Like that's like one a month coming up villains right now. This is gonna sound bad. Does this sound really bad? I would like Speaker 5 (00:56:51): a little more of a cha like in between say that because I came and get an amen, but I still think should be scalable. Things should be scalable. And that's the point of that. That's like, this is the prime example. It's not, the challenging for you is who John is. You run me great. This difficulty should scale to your TCP make it so to where someone at your level and it's challengeable for me, but it's not like absolutely terrible. Speaker 6 (00:57:16): I'll take the whole rework of the game. I do agree with you. I gotta be honest, those, they do not have the brain power to pull that off. Like they can't even, they can't even write code properly to implement new game modes in the game without screwing something up like star tech or whatever back when it fucked up. Everything with dark dimension too. And so like I just have no belief that they could ever come up with something like that without completely breaking the game. Speaker 4 (00:57:44): I think Ash is going to kick me off of the podcast and never had me back here after I say the same thing. Yeah, thanks. Um, but it was funny, it was the chef was saying that, I'm like, I wonder where he's going to go with this. Cause what I was going to say is this, you guys might view me as a little sadistic, but I actually was hoping it'd be a little bit harder to, um, but I know the heart and so in response, so, but let me address kind of Ash, what you're talking about. And I don't necessarily expect this to make you feel better. I don't. Um, but it is the flip side of the argument, so to speak. And that's the, in my, I remember when, uh, I first started playing the game. I knew how hard it was to get to vision, a vision note and how hard it was to three-star it. Speaker 4 (00:58:26): And it took forever, you know, months. And I was just like, Oh my God, this sucks. And I just stopped trying. I just stopped. I didn't even try. I was like, you know what, I'm not getting vision or I'm not unlocking or I'm not building them up for an extent, amount of time. And I just went away from it for months. And eventually when my, my power got stronger, I went back to it and I kept trying it and it was still a struggle, but I w I was eventually able to do it and I think chef was the one who are you actually, you even made it up like the, the concept of grinding, you know? So there, I'm, I, that's where I say, you know, look guys, I don't expect Fox next to necessary releasing and want us to walk through because then we're going like, all right, that was done. So now what? You know, and if there's too much of that, we're, we're all just gonna eventually turn to be like, this just sucks. We're not doing anything. And they're not gonna be able to pump out content fast enough. So that's where I'm like, okay, little grinds. All right. Little difficulty. Um, anyway, that's all I got to say about that. Yeah. So I have one question about movement. Speaker 7 (00:59:22): Um, actually let's make this a two part question. One you personally will vote for? What would be the end of the, of the movement for you? Like what? And I know, I know that's, I know, I know you're, you're, you're chuckling cause it's like, that's a really tough question. Like maybe give me like a, a shred of like what you aim to achieve with this because like I think that's one thing that a lot of people are confused about. I mean, I understand where you're coming from completely. Cause we're in the same boat for the most part, but I think there are people out there that do not understand what like the cutoff point is or like what the main goal Speaker 4 (00:59:56): and that's fair. Okay. So, um, first and again, for anybody listening, this is me personally, this is not the movement. This is me. Um, and if we don't get these, that doesn't mean I'd support like if somebody wanted, if the whole, you know, movement wanted to stop because of what we got and I was against it, I voiced that. But I'd just be like, all right, if everyone stopped and cool. So, but again, anyway, that's my giant disclaimer. So on a whole list of holistic macro level, I want to see some something in game towards these points we're talking about. And something that actually like moves the dial a little bit. And for me personally, I really look at gold and I look at red stars, you know, um, orange gear. I'm kinda like, okay, I could use some orange gear twos, but those, to me, those are the three biggest things. Speaker 4 (01:00:42): Um, I'd want to see something in game in game, again, not talked about. And that's the, uh, um, Tony's and golly, he, uh, I always screw up his last name, but Tony made a great boy. Uh, he, his point, cause everyone saying daily, uh, like a couple a weeks ago, we got a blog at said a bunch of stuff that I see. They're listening or listening next guy. Like he said this to the community, I think on the stream or it might've been [inaudible] stream. That was like, what are they doing though? They're just telling us they're going to give us flowers. I haven't given us any flowers. And when you've got a relationship that someone's told you, they're gonna give you flowers for a year, are you really going to believe them anymore? So anyway, yeah, that's fair. I'm very macro right now, but so one, I want to see something actually end game now there it's debatable whether the orange gear stuff that they put in the game at the moment turns the dial there for some it has for summit has it. Speaker 4 (01:01:36): For me personally, it's, it's moved it close enough where I think if I got, you know, some gold or red star change in the game, I'd probably be okay. You know what I mean? Like it's just like, you know that gold video that I did, which was, you know, I was claiming 24 years, it would take you to build up the backlog attunes in the game because they gave you just enough gold to build up all the new characters in the game. Right. And it wasn't even full. The 75 I think it was the 71 in a tier 11 or something like that. And I was, I wasn't even accounting for spending goal that many unique surname. So it was like, okay, now some other folks were like, Hey, you know, but something's off there. I'm like, you know what, I'm not even gonna argue if something's off, I'm going to take your number. Speaker 4 (01:02:16): I'm gonna apply it in there. And it was still nine years. And I'm like, look, I don't, I'm not, I don't know about you guys, but like nine years to finish the, you know, all of the original characters in the game, while it's like, that doesn't make any sense to me. So, you know, if you move the dial and goal to get that, I don't know if it's one year, two years, three years, I don't know what the right number is, but it's not nine years and it's not 24 years that I know. You know what I mean? So it's like, okay, yeah, it's like [inaudible] die. Yeah. I mean, so to me, so it's like do something for gold to swing that pendulum closer to the one two year Mark. Again, I don't know what our 66, I'll say six months, maybe not six months. Speaker 4 (01:02:54): That's too low. But anyway, you get what I'm saying? 100%. Um, and then red stars, some targeted progression, you know what I mean? It's like, and that ties in with the orangy like, you know, I say are red stars because our red stars, because they're the biggest, um, there's the F the, the face of the RNG, you know what I mean? There's so many different oranges in the game, but they're the face of it. It's the biggest lottery system that I've ever seen is the biggest slot machine I've ever seen. It's, yeah, it's, so it's creme de LA creme. Yeah. And again, I've seen great ideas where people were talking about when you have a Redstar arm, have some promotion credits on the side pillars or at another, uh, what are like, yeah. And I, it wasn't my idea, it was someone else's. I've seen that one floating around the one with the promotion credits on the side. Speaker 4 (01:03:36): That's probably the best suggestion. Am I? Yeah, yeah. And it's like, okay person, you get some more of those and look at costs. 300 silver promotion credits to get a five star. Yeah. I think the most I've ever had is maybe a hundred and I think it was only when they gave us 50 and 50 back to back. Yup. I'm sitting on 14 right now and I'm like, okay, what a couple of them. And I've gotten all the ones that they've given to us and I still have 200 right now. But I mean I've only spent probably like 30 or 40 of them cause I was buying 10 that's impressive. 10 upgrades on while I was holding off thinking like, Hey, maybe someday I can get the 300 and get a five star version of somebody because I can't fucking pull one. Yeah. So I don't know if that answered your question directly or not. Speaker 4 (01:04:17): Um, you know, I tried it, it was a good answer. Yeah. I mean those for me that would really move the dial where I'd be like, okay guys, let's seriously look at stopping. Because to me, you know, people are like, how long can this go? How long? I'm like, for me personally, and I'll encourage everyone else's way, this can go for as long as I needed to. I'm like, I, you're asking me how much I can restrain myself from spending money on something that I don't really necessarily need. Right. You know, I'm like, I should be able to do that forever. And in theory. Yeah, exactly. I'm like, I'm not year and a half without spending very, very easily. Yeah. I'm not, you know, I'm feeding myself. I'm feeding my family, I'm clothing myself. You know, I'm having fun with my friends outside of game. I'm going to bars, I'm doing different things. I'm like, I'm doing all the things my life truly requires. And you know what? If that means not spending on MSF, I could do it for a year. I can do it for two years. Okay. I do. I want to know. It'd be fun to be able to buy some things in the game again, here and there to showcase. For me personally as a content creator, I'd love to be able to more quickly showcase Speaker 7 (01:05:18): some characters. But you know what, I, I, Speaker 1 (01:05:21): I can find free to play ways to show guides like the five star Cyclops things like, Hey, this is how to get five-star cyclists. Speaker 7 (01:05:27): Okay. Yeah. So I, this is outside of MSF, but I want to bring this up because it's a system that I think is a good idea that they should, they should capitalize on, but raid shadow has just released a battle pass, right? You spend $25 in the last two months. There are a hundred levels of collectible achievements that I can do. I get dailies, I get weeklies, and I mean, I'm getting off fucking massive bang for my buck, right? And everybody in my clan bought it. That's, that's 30 people, right? Every bird. Everybody in my claim 130. So, yeah. Everybody. But um, the point is, is that here you have a company that had a problem, right? The problem was they don't have a good way to get energy. They don't have good way to get like WEX P there were there, people were asking for ways to get more things done. Speaker 7 (01:06:18): Right. So they listened to their community and they provided a way with a very affordable price to get people to spend 12 bucks a month, 12 and $12 50 cents, you know, a month. You know. And that to me like something like that shows that they're listening and that they're coming up with creative ways to answer the problem that the community is having. Right? So to coincide with what we're saying, like they're never going to just give out a shit load of free gold. Like let's face it. I mean, yeah they could, they could scale it up a little bit and give us a little bit more every day. But as a company they're never going to do it. It's just they're just not going to. So another way for them to monetize that without doing gold gate again, which we all can say that that was like the best month anybody's ever had on the game. Speaker 7 (01:07:03): And if they did something cause contest of champions did it recently too. And it's a system that they've, that both games have benefited from it greatly. The player base. Well, I mean if of course there's gonna be people that don't like it and there's people that really do like it, but I don't know, I just think that their, their, their, their monetization system is scummy. It's dried up. People are sick of it. And for me that's the number one thing I think they need to fucking work on. But then again, I'm also like, I will give them my money because I think that it's, there's no value in what they're providing. I felt that a year and a half ago I stopped spending, I haven't looked back cause there's nothing that they've come out with makes me say like, damn homie, I need to buy that man. But that battle pass came out. I didn't even play, I'm not even hardcore in grade shadow. I've not bought that shit in two seconds man. I was like, I get all of that for 25 bucks. Like, Oh dude, Speaker 1 (01:07:52): call of duty did the thing with their mobile game. And I was like, but when that game first came out, I was real heavy into that game and I was like, yeah, sure. And like it's the Fort Knight mentality of like, Hey, like if you want to all this stuff you can earn, but if you spend like 25 bucks over the course of two or three months or whatever it is, or eight weeks, um, you get like X amount of stuff and I feel like that's a better value then, you know, spend $25, you get 30 shots, you know, God bless. You're kidding me dude. It's the worst dog shit I've ever smelled the mind. Bless it. What about the gold calendar for a week where it's, I think it's 15 bucks for a million gold or whatever it is. If it was like two 99 or like under $5, I would say that would be worth it. Speaker 1 (01:08:34): But for a week long calendar, that gives you a million goals. Right. I agree. I would probably buy that. Yeah, I think that's definitely without looking at, you know, actual worth of it. It, it feels, again, to use that word again, it feels more in the right ballpark. They had a one of those like you get a month for, uh, of the, uh, the promotional credits. So you get for a dollar 99 or something like that. It's like, or if something, essentially, I think it was two 99 so it was like a, a dollar poorer or 10 cents per promotional credit for a month. I bought that because that's a good deal in my opinion, cause you get, you know, over the course of for Y for $3, you get 30 promotional credits. Great. I'll just have to be patient and wait it out. So that'd be fine. But anyway, moving on. Speaker 1 (01:09:18): We have the loving or hated segment where we talk about one thing we love about the game. One thing we hate about the game, I can't wait for this one. A little more thorough. Since you're, you're, you're our guest this week, since we, you know, always talk about what we love and hate about the game. What do you love about the game right now? Um, if what I love, yeah, no, I can't, I mean, I don't know financially feel like I know what this answer's going to be. Go ahead. Okay. Well what I actually love about the game right now is the way the communities kind of come together and it's just, that's what it comes down to for man. Like, look, as much as, you know, some people are outside of the, uh, fix MSF thing. But that ties into a part of it too, where I, it has been, this has been the coolest thing I've ever been a part of an a game ever. Speaker 1 (01:10:02): Like I played wow back in the day and I loved my, uh, what is it a Guild in that and we were super tight and like we met in real life and all that different type of stuff. Nice. And this is like the super, this is the coolest. It's just, just to see everybody working together and like trying to communicate. It feels almost like a business. It's just, it's not so, but yeah, the community, I mean it's, so that aspect of the community and like my Alliance, like you guys, like, you know, just the content creating community, that's, it's just fun to talk with people. And I don't know, I, to me that's what really pushes it, which is crazy cause it's like, wait, what about the game? Well, the game brought us to each other. I was like, but it's each other. Who, yeah. So that's, that's my love at park. Speaker 1 (01:10:45): Um, we all go through love. It's first and then hate it's, or how do we do, we already did an hour. Let's go ahead. Let me get my list. Yeah, I know we, that's one of the things that we keep saying, like if it wasn't for this community, we wouldn't be doing this podcast. And that's the whole point of like us wanting to do this is we like talking to different people in the community, talking to everybody, what they have to say about, you know, not only their, their experience in the game, but their experience that they bring to the game. The, to the community. Speaker 3 (01:11:14): One I think is the best part about it. So cause there's a lot of cool people out there, a lot of people who have different opinions on things. Not everybody thinks the same, which, uh, which I think is what's interesting about being alive personally. Like you know, there's just people just, you know, you make friends with w with people either in your Alliance or outside of your Alliance or people you know all over the place, whether it's on Reddit or whether it's on Facebook, discord, whoever. It's just, you know, it's interesting. So everybody always says community and we're just noticing that like maybe MSF shirt or a Fox neck should like start to focus on their community. Just saying anyway. What do you hate about the game right now? Is there a general, I'll say blitz. Speaker 4 (01:11:57): Oh man, what's, where's, what's the, the, the one thing that I hate most about the game right now, I'm trying to decide. I'm like, is it, I, I'd say the RNG, honestly, if I'm really gonna like, you know, I could pick just in general, just like you, I mean you could gold orbs too. You know what I mean? It takes, did they add to mind aside pillars? Yes. But if you didn't really pay attention, they took the 1 million, that was 1%. So now the 1 million is 0.7, 5% and the 2000000.25. So yes, they gave you a chance, fucking watery man, microscopic chance to get to a million. Yeah. Did they do it? Yes. Okay. Yay credit. But you know, like, I dunno, I mean anything. No, it did not for me then. You know, it's like, I, you know, I still have this giant RNG, I think the, the, the metric, the medium average of the golds, uh, orbs went up like 20 K or something like that. Somebody was saying, I didn't do the math behind it, but I think it's around that, which is like, what can you get for 20 K in the game? Nothing. You know? And it's like, okay. So I, I, if I had to answer, I'd say orangy aspect of it, um, which applies to everything else we talked to, you know, on different levels. I just, I'm not sure I'd pick one. So I'd go to the kind of the hierarchy of that where it's really the RMG, it's, that's the stuff that hits you. Speaker 3 (01:13:21): Cool. Yeah. I mean that RNG just goes all over the place with you. Seven and alpha raids. And then like there was one thing where I was trying the training note or whatever. One of the challenges today that I was doing, I was like tier 11. I was so close to finishing it. I literally had one hit on the last guy and I had one character that was like one hit from dying and I had like seven characters on the board because I had a, you know, hella out with two Gregs and one not. And of course like the computer had to hit that one person with a sliver health make it the uh, you know, make me complete this. And literally the next person who was able to hit a node or take an attorney was able to clear it. I was like, mother fucker, like literally just the one thing. Anyway, so I just, it feels like it's tuned a little bit. The orange is tuned a little bit, not in our favor, which is, it's fine. You wanted to make it, you want to have that like, Oh well I can Speaker 6 (01:14:12): get it next time if I spend X amount of money or something like that. Which I understand to a certain extent, but at the same time it's like don't make it to the art. Don't make the orangy to predatory outside of everything. Yeah. But anyway, what do I, what do I know? Can I tell you one other thing? I hate the game about, I'm hated the most about the game right now. Sure. I can't wait real quick. I can't farm as guardians and I fucking hate. Yeah. Well you can talk to star hella and to star SIF and I mean while the argument can be made like, well it's just going to make things a lot shittier in Wars. The same thing could be said. Maybe I want to fucking, maybe I would like to finish my team off. Maybe I would like to farm that I'm tired of American Chavez and the hydro team. Speaker 6 (01:14:47): Like, you know, cause that's probably infuriating when you see black bolts everywhere. Yeah. I mean I wouldn't like black bull, you know, I'd like at least a chance to start working on farming black bull. I mean, cause you already know he's going to come creeping up next time and it's going to be like, well like here's your budget, here's our buttholes, here's Fox next coming through and just breaks through that bitch cause they don't care. Cause I think he's supposed to come back in April. So we've got, you know, month to month. Two months. Yeah. And how long does it take you to actually farm a character to five stars? Six stars. I mean six months time. I'm not even exaggerating really. I think it's really six months. Like I'm not even bullshitting. Put a laser focus for, for Phoenix. That was how that went. I mean, you gotta think like, honestly you're averaging two a day. Maybe if you're lucky. I'm also, since I'm low TCP, every energy counts for me. I'm sure every day I'm, Oh yeah, I'm putting it in so many different characters every day. So then for the last, like what? Like when w when, what does announce a Phoenix was coming out like a week ago. Speaker 6 (01:15:51): All I've done is Loki and hand assassin, which for the last two I needed, I was lucky I was already doing a Nobu, a Ronan and a, what's this but more ditto for the double date. Was the Doubleday fruitful for, you know, actually I got my orange, he was so bad. It was so, it was Stericycle zero dude. Like it hurts so much going through like 600 power cores and only getting like maybe 20 of worst. Man. I was hoping, I know, cause if you're lucky you get to like 80 right? Like if you do the double day and then at midnight you hit it again. Like, you know, but like man, I just got so sucked. Yeah, I got it. It sucked. But here we are finally getting Phoenix after a year later, you know, feels good man. You got that six red star Phoenix. So lucky. Do just one day long people up. You'll, you'll enjoy six red star Phoenix has red sarcasm, no pun intended, huh? Yeah. Yeah. That's going to be brutal. That's forever. Cause the game. Give me your account. Anyway. Uh, starting and talking about red stars. What'd you guys pull for red stars this week? Six left. Four red stars. I got a four star group and a four star shield trooper. No way. 60 fucking, that's brutal. I've pulled a hundred and I had 104 Speaker 1 (01:17:10): charge to pull for invisible woman and got zero charge for invisible woman. That's so scummy dude. I'm like, Nope. That's gambling. Gambling. What about you? What were you get anything better at gambling and that is, that is some sad shit. That's true. Yeah. Um, in the last, I don't know if it was within the last two weeks. I did pull my first seven. No, it was Merck sniper. Oh, still good though. I mean, Hey, he could hit like a truck with, I threw them on like some, I think I throw them with I captain Marvel on defense with like a couple toddlers or century or something. Hope that he could one shot somebody. Um, besides that, I think for S, let's see what I got for psych claps, uh, for Symbio Spiderman, I got three for Cyclops, I have four. So besides that, I don't think I remember pulling anything. Speaker 1 (01:18:03): I think I got a five upgrade for Luke cage from three to five. Eliane did, I was able to get a five red, I said earlier if I had red stars and had Spiderman, um, yeah, that's solid and solid now on that time. And I don't mean to derail us too much. I know, I'm sure we're running out of time here soon, but, um, I saw a post on Facebook where a guy had I think a 340 K Symbio um, team and he said it was mad and I was like, is this real? And you know, there's an emoji movie all about it. Me one bit. Yeah. So I'm curious to see if that's true or not. I, I don't know what that's based on. It could be somebody trolling. I don't know. I'm curious. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised, you know, you know, walk condom. Speaker 1 (01:18:53): Then what condoms were supposed to be the, you know, ultimate rate seven or you seven or eight teams. So apex, apex. Yeah. I pulled a bunch of red stars as in the past two weeks so that I was saving up for, um, Cynthia Spiderman specifically. I did not, I really didn't open anything for, um, for Cyclops, but I was saving mainly, I had, I think 25 saved up first and made Spiderman. I pulled up three red stars to get Spiderman. I've pulled a reds, four red star, Cyclops. I pulled a five red star, Jessica Jones, Craig's. Now that gets my a defender's team almost to three. And I pulled two dupes of, uh, ms Marvel at firewall. Yeah. Those hybrids are orbs were dupes of ms Marvel, both fibered stars. Ouch. Fat adult under like, uh, like somebody in the chat earlier said, uh, like, you know, if you pull, like Duke should be like, rewarded or refunded. Essentially, if you pull a duplicate, you should be able to reroll again, like I understand like I think this is closer to a reroll. If you can't fully roll, give me like 70% you. But what is it now? It's like a, not even a quarter. Speaker 7 (01:20:08): So for a dupe, one star, you get 100 tickets. For Duke two you get 200 for Duke three you get 400 and that's a joke. I don't know. I don't even know. Assume it's 500 for the five, you know? So that's what does that, how many is it taking over? 5,000 you know, the other thing, the other thing that that bothers me is when I open a duplicate four-star ticket, or I'm sorry, if I went to a guaranteed four-star and I get a dupe for, I don't even get a guaranteed five-star ticket from that, I get another guarantee, four-star ticket. So it's basically like, Hey, guess what? Fuck you better luck next time. That's literally what they're saying. Speaker 1 (01:20:49): Yeah. If I were Fox next, that'd be one of the things that I would rework about red stars too. It's like make that a little bit more and I'm fine with the one through four being that one through four, but once you start getting to the five, the six and getting on those, they're so rare. And how infuriating that is to get a, I mean you said to ms Marvel dupes to ms Marvel dupes and not only that, the last time I opened to five red stars, I got a dupe of uh, I got uh, two miles back to back and to a night nurse noobs rural Berto genuinely frustrated. I still, I've been, I don't know, I just don't really want to open my red star Wars. Speaker 7 (01:21:33): Right, right. Is like if you're the kind of person that actually keeps up with looking at where they are in the power leaderboards, when these kinds of things happen to you, you will notice that you start to rapidly decline on that. And I mean of course that doesn't mean anything that's totally like, I know you don't care about it. But the point is, is that there are people out there that are still benefiting from this reward system and there's other people out there that are getting wrecked on it. And it's like that like to coincide with what you're saying about R and G in the game. It shouldn't be that orangy heavy. Like there shouldn't be this like random factor involved in whether this guy becomes God tier. And this guy over here stop fucking looking at four stars. You know, like it's just, all right, well we're beating a dead horse over here. Speaker 1 (01:22:22): There's a couple of, while we got a couple, we've got a couple, two other ones, then we can go into the podcast. We're going to almost almost all beard. So we'll combine two real quick. So we'll do, we'll combine our war advice and team advice into one quick question. So we'll have authority. You have any or will you have any war team advice? How about that? Um, I mean probably everything that's pretty much obvious. Um, you know, as guardians are great, um, uh, high Thor is huge, uh, you know, fantastic for, for some Aw fence. Uh, aim Tron, that's pretty old news at this point. I feel like versus aim guard or, uh, versus as guardians. Uh, if anyone doesn't know, uh, aim Tron, you drop out monstrosity in my opinion and put an Ultron and use that against a as Speaker 4 (01:23:05): guardians typically you could get some bad and gene lose that. But typically it's, you can get some pretty decent punch ups there. Um, you know, I've stopped using Wakandans on offense for a while. I had them for, uh, using against captain Marvel. Uh, cause you know, you can get the heel block with Shuri. I had a high Shuri, they've got the defense up in Baku taunts before captain Marvel does her ultimate. So it always goes in Baku he's got deflect and defense up and does basically nothing. Um, so if you have a Wakandans that you're kind of like, ah, I don't really know what to do with these. And I mean, let's be real. You always face a captain Marvel on, uh, that you see on defense and it's hard to be stars now since everyone. Yeah. So I was doing that for a while, but I, I backed off a little bit cause my Wakandans were too over like my shirt. He's like 70 or 80 K and the rest of them are like 30, so it wasn't kind of became problematic. Um, Speaker 1 (01:24:00): okay. Speaker 4 (01:24:00): I think, I mean the fantastic forward Drax over thing can sometimes beat the as guardians, the two tap against as Gar. I mean that's the biggest problem right now is as guardians. Right. Uh, the, and you could to tap as guardians and I think fantastic for cleans it up pretty well. Uh, on the second go if you, if you don't have that. So those are probably my biggest things that I can think of. Take a break once a week if you can for as an Alliance. It is good for the mental state of everybody in the Alliance. That's what we've shifted through. Fridays are chill days now. We do workstations as well, so which is nice. So that's great. Awesome. Do you have a favorite character in the game right now? Black bull. I hate to say it. Sorry. I know it's a paywall character. Um, I know that hurts to say for someone who's not hella nah, I'm fine with the, yeah, black bull. I been saying hello. I've been running with him. Uh, I run the cosmic lane and alpha and it's just, I mean a whole up there. I'm like alt and fantasies is right next to them all and it just like clears the board. I'm like, this is so stupid. It's like a rocket of old, you know, 100%. Yep. So yeah, black belt for sure. Speaker 1 (01:25:12): But yeah. Okay, cool. Real quick. Can I throw in a team and war that I really like using? I take hot, take the bro, boom dude bro, boom, the bro boom. What is that? The brotherhood boom. Yeah. Also called boom hood. I've heard boom hood. I've heard both. I don't know. It's, what is it? Magneto juggernaut, para pyro kingpin and crossbones. I really like that team dude. In the last note, second last war and I blew some team up with it. No fun. You can punch up easily 50K if not more with a against a BKT with that team because King pin goes right before a rocket does. So you have defense up and oftentimes, um, for crossbones to do his [inaudible] he'll go, yeah, King pin goes right before rockets away. His rock, his ultimate doesn't do anything right. Essentially hits for like, it just tickles the team. Speaker 1 (01:26:10): And I would taunt with crossbones first T turn so that you don't have to get hit the Groot and get slowed. Yeah, exactly. So that's what that would be for that. So anyway, let's go through some Q and a since I'm sure we hear it's a bunch of questions we have from everybody who's streaming and if anybody who wants to hop in the chat and whatnot for the next time we do this, we will be streaming live on Sundays. Whenever we do this. Um, we'll put that in all the discord content, by the way. Uh, not yet. We'll figure that we've got to, you know, we've got two weeks to figure it out. Um, but anyway, we, um, we'll be doing Q and A's in the chats. So if you have a question for us, you can always put the [inaudible] the letter Q followed by Colin or whatever you want and uh, ask us a question in chat. So anyway, what do we got queued up for the first question? The first one we got is Seminole warrior 77. Uh, realistically what would be reasonable fixed it to the red star system. Speaker 1 (01:27:03): I think we kind of touched on it a little bit. I think the, you know, being able to reroll if you get a dupe, especially in the high level, like maybe one through four continues with the credit system they have now I feel like if you pull elite orbs you should be able to reroll uh, elite, large. If you get a duplicate, in my opinion, with the basics, giving you the credits for the other stuff in my, so if you'd like, you get a, if you like for me, I have a six Redstar carnage. If I pull a four red star carnage for whatever reason, I have a basic, I should get forward. Star credits, if I pull a five red Sarkar and judge you get five red star credits, that kind of stuff, so on. So that's personally, that's what I think should be the case. Speaker 1 (01:27:38): But you guys know, um, yeah. Uh, should you want to hit one? No, I felt, I, I'm, I'm, I agree. I mean for me, I'd add a little bit more where it's, you know, we talked about the, those pillars, you know, with promo credits. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, definitely. That's something that I'd be looking for. I this flash event concept, uh, I think is good. I think it's a year. It's a year behind schedule. Um, but the concept of it again, but it, it basically ties into giving us more, you know, promotional credits. So, you know, however you get this promotional credits in there, um, Oh, what Charlie just said too, with, you know, the, the idea of the credits you get when Duke, you know, especially when you get to that five, six red star, uh, uh, Duke that it gives you the ability either re-roll or darn near close, re-roll, know it should at least be half of a full orb at least that, you know, and the fact that it's like a 10th or whatever it is is just, it's demoralizing to an extent. Yes. Sucks. For sure. So I think those are probably my biggest, uh, my biggest comments about trying to fix it. Yeah. I think that uh, they have no real way to fix the system. It's a dog. Shoot. My God. I'm like, huh. You're, you're on a podcast talking to the mic. Talk into the mic. Sorry. I was leaning back. He was getting ready to use go comfy. Yeah. I was to company. I'm in this new chairs. I'm like, I'm getting used to like actually having like lumbar Speaker 7 (01:29:02): support and shit. Um, I think it's a fucked up system. There's no way to fix it. So the only thing that can really do is give me more red star Wars so that I can finally, when this dumb shit fucking lottery, I'm sorry. Like that's just am I, I have very optimist. You know, what's the, what's the, what's the expression? Like you can Polish a turd any way you want to still uttered. Like I think that's honestly, that's red stars to me. So, um, give us, give me more of them. I dunno. Like what the, what's the way to fix it? Just throw, throw more salt or fuel to the blue. Sorry. I'll get more one-star. That's satisfying being every week like, ah, fuck. Like that's what I want to feel every time I open up these things, then blue stars are coming. I'm, I'm, I know it. That's hilarious. When I say I know it, it's gassy and I don't know that Speaker 5 (01:29:49): you already here first. [inaudible] uh, those up Lucy, uh, Brene beard asked the question, we kind of answered it in, chat me in a mean incredible state. Anyway. How do you see that they are losing money? The numbers you see on the app store don't dip pretty much. It doesn't seem that they are losing a bunch of money but it's not good press and yeah. Um, there they are not losing like amount of money that they're going to shut down next week. But I think that a dip in the revenue specifically when the strike has started is still significant. It may be the amount of money has been exaggerated, but the fact that they've lost money at all due to the dip are still, is still significant and still important, especially because the money that the people that are losing money from the big boy whales are the ones they want to keep more than anything on this planet. Like at the end of the day, all of us here, um, even though we have spent money, regardless of who has spent the most, are not anywhere near like, I don't want to shop specific names, but like people in like Legion and white pants, stuff like that. And people who aren't spending those dudes are spending five to six figures. You know what I'm saying? So like that's, that's, that's money. And when they are not spending money, then the company has to have, they have to pay attention. They have to, and that's the important thing. Speaker 4 (01:31:05): One thing to think about that, to think about it from a business model, um, when you talk about companies and their projections for quarters or yearly projections or whatever, it's not necessarily about maintaining the status quo. They are always looking to come up. You know, it's, it's, it's, this is their curve. It's not this or you know, even flat they need, okay, it was a 1% growth last month, 2%. So they're looking for a growth. They don't want the status quo. So the fact that it's not even, it's not even, it's, it's, you know, it can be a 1% decline. The fact that's not a zero or an increase, it's, it's, it's hurting them. You know what I mean? So you've got to think of from that perspective as well and including what Ash said. I don't care what any graph shows. If you've got people who are typically spent that amount of money on a game not spending and a majority of them, they're taking a hit. And in my opinion, you talk about the fact that the responses that we're getting shows that it's making a difference. Totally. Um, great. Speaker 5 (01:32:05): Uh, shadow shadow skill two five, six, five is MSF fixing the orangy duplicates, dupes and red stars on the 21st 21st of this month or near future. Did you guys hear anything about that? Speaker 4 (01:32:15): So yeah, let's talk about that for a little bit because that was one of the big things in the book. So if I understand the timeline correctly, we were supposed to get something on the 21st about red stars. We weren't necessarily sure exactly what that was. We, uh, I, at least in my interpretation was like, I didn't know if they were going to say something that they're going to do something. My hope was that they were going to do something. Um, in this week's blog that we got, there was a big writeup talking about how they were going to change the curve and introduced this flash event with the Wakandans and that they moved that up a week. So I'm wondering if what they were going to do on the 21st we've already got and in what we got this week, it says that flash event is coming by the end of April. Speaker 4 (01:32:59): So the way I interpret this is, is we're not getting any Redstar changes in the game until the end of April and that's still subject to change based on their testing. So right for me personally, and again, this is not the penis, this is not necessarily the opinion of the fixed MSF moment, but when I read this, this is just more talk. It's like, okay, you're going to do something, just give me the damn flowers already. Like, like this isn't [inaudible] again, credit where credit is due. Thank you for telling us early. Thank you for telling us your, we work in these, you know, the the curve and thank you for introducing something. Yes, I want to give credit for that. But again, until you do it. And so you give me my flowers and I mean like I don't, it's, yeah. I was like, what? I was like, I was like, what the heck? I'm like, I think my TV just went off randomly ghost. Exactly. If somebody is watching Netflix, I was watching it. I think I had it on earlier. I was watching dark night. Um, but uh, or last night I passed out the watch and dark night and I forgot it was on. But, uh, anyway, so that's what I mean, it's a long winded answer, but I don't think [inaudible] Speaker 5 (01:34:06): uh, that, that, Oh, that was good. I think that, I think that hit it. Um, Scoota [inaudible] I don't know why that makes me laugh so much. Scooter skewed of five. Uh, uh, have you guys seen, have you guys seen two burgers disrupt video and if so, what are your thoughts with the overall message he conveyed? I am fortunate. I did have some, I feel bad. I didn't watch it yet. I don't, I'm sure. Yeah. Yeah. Speaker 4 (01:34:25): I showed my wife and she dug the beat. You know what I mean? I was like, you got to check this out. Cause she's like, I, I share the things that are going on with the community a little bit with her. And I showed her that and she was just like so funny. This is amazing. She's like, I don't know what this guy does, but this is Speaker 5 (01:34:42): Manitou burger. He, he, he's, he's such a big dog. Uh, great. Yeah, I'm going to watch it. That's a good thing. Maybe ting dangling. Sometimes I'd say I say the words Dingus and ding dong so much. And even you saying King Dingaling Speaker 1 (01:34:58): threw me off. I'm kicking pitches. Out of curiosity, are you guys saving red stars to see the end results of the red star rework? Uh, no. I always think I always hoard red stars for the next key character that I'm looking for. And that's pretty much what it is because I'm at the point where like me opening basic red star orbs doesn't do anything for me. I gotta tell you guys, I, I know that everyone's luck on red stars are really bad. I think I might actually have good luck up red stars cause you got a new player to catch all the candidate has to be right. Is it ketchup you think? Do you think there's some kind of it's my tinfoil hat. Yeah, I think so. That's an incentive thing. I was thinking, I was thinking myself that this has to be some kind of ketchup mechanic. Speaker 1 (01:35:37): Uh, I mean, look, I can't prove it. Um, and I know miss SARS a lot. Yeah. I think it's something that got introduced into the game to help people who came along later to catch up and incentivize them to stick around and show that they could be closer to those people who played a longer time of the game. And for personally, I don't think that's a good model. I think they need to go something along the, the consistently good for everyone. Yeah. And look at, wow. You know, you could get new players into that game and catch up pretty quick and getting a high end goat, like the stuff that's no longer like matters that give that stuff away, basically just give it away so people can catch it. I mean, within reason where you don't upset a whale. It's like I bought all that. Speaker 1 (01:36:16): No, I don't, you know, it's like you got to balance that. Right. But anyway, no, I think that's fair. Um, brain beard. A second question. Thanks Brian. Beard, what do you guys think? Ryan? Beard. Oh shit. Brian Beard. I am totally ready for a bro dude. I looked at it and thought it was brain beer. [inaudible] Brian. Uh, I'm done. What do you guys think of the proposed flash promotion event? Which I think we kind of covered over with the Wakandans being stupid outside of it being what continents, which I was kind of bummed that I just had to focus, switched focus from supernatural to one continence. I'm, my goal is to take the Wakandans to 250 K and see where that is. I have a feeling that that'll be fine cause they're all essentially it's going to take me maybe a week to get them all up to snuff. Speaker 1 (01:37:02): What's your sharing? You're sure? He's probably so strong. Right? My Sherry's at like 65 K cause I use her in, well she's only three red stars. Well she's three wrestlers. That's why wait, what's yours is at 90 K what is your sure yet? Hybrid stars. Oh my God. Okay. Fair dude. And I put and I put two of her orange abilities into her. I'm the same. So jeez. Uh, one of the things I do want to add about this flash event that I want to make sure everybody understands is how many tokens do you get for each event when they come around? Speaker 1 (01:37:36): We're only going to be able to experience tier one, two and three. Exactly. Right. So that's one of the things I want everybody to understand is you really only need your Wakandans to be able to, if, if Fox next does it, how they've done it before. And I'll talk about where I think they should change it in one second. But you only really need to get through three-star, right? So don't feel necessarily, unless they do about what I'm about to say is that you have to get them up to a seven star level because it's going to take three iterations for you to get to seven star and which is going to be like November, December. So you've got tons of time. No outside of that. If they do do this the way that they're talking about do, do, if I was Fox maxed, what I would personally do is say, look guys, you know what, we screwed up red stars. Speaker 1 (01:38:15): We should have released this flash event a year ago because of that. We're going to give you enough tokens to run it to through seven star the first time and at least auto it twice that seventh one. So it's nine to 10 tokens. Um, well they do that. I don't think so. Absolutely not. But should they, I think they should, given the way the communities felt about everything. Um, so anyway, man. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. So anyway, that's my no. Yeah, that's, that's, that's the, yeah, that's perfect. Um, and our last one we have so far from a Colonel one, I'm sorry bud. I don't know Speaker 6 (01:38:53): one L S G one I think I'm probably asking Dingaling gotcha. For doing. And then our general thoughts on ISO eight. Speaker 1 (01:39:04): I have no, I don't Speaker 6 (01:39:07): butthole. Here's Fox next. There's goddammit Josh. Yeah. Yeah, totally. Dude. I think we'll overthrow his face. Kinda, uh, was a general face of disdain. Speaker 1 (01:39:24): Yeah. Yeah. No, I know the episode of the community. Butthole blob. Speaker 6 (01:39:28): Yeah. Yeah. People weren't complaining about us being too vulgar before they, they definitely will now with that one. Oh yeah. We've had this discussion before. Look at your face. Well, not to say vulgar that we curse too much, but also wants it banal and here's Fox next. He didn't blammo yeah, you got to hear that. Yeah. The kid in the car won't be able to visually see that, luckily. [inaudible] what does that mean, Dan King? Dingaling you know, my, uh, my, uh, my parents let me watch Goodfellows I was like five years old, so I don't know what the problem is with, with vulgarity and stuff. Anyway. Uh, yeah, I still wait like [inaudible] education. If there's not already enough things to work towards that required money in this game, if you're not free to play, uh, why, why give us one more hard thing. Speaker 1 (01:40:19): Yeah, that's, that is basically the summation of mine too. It's like we're not asking for it. We can't even do the red stars. Right. You know what I like ISO way to be able to do all seven when it's stealth buffed or whatever's going on with that easier then. Yeah, sure. But I don't, dunno man, they said they had that stealth buffed. All right, so you need to slow your roll. [inaudible] so they didn't stop, but they said they couldn't, uh, they couldn't reproduce the conditions that we would all talk about. There is, there is some, uh, there's some talk if you guys haven't heard it, that to try to figure out if they, it's related to war Speaker 7 (01:40:54): at the moment. Yep. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah. So basically what the thought is, is that if you launch a raid before your war, it will not be affected. But the next raid that you launch will be affected somehow because of the coal thing going on. Yeah. And for us are, the rates we're running right now is falling into that after war category. And I will say I am definitely noticing like, Hmm. So I'm going to watch throughout this week to see if fats, the raid that continually is difficult to want to right after or I mean just listen for from a coding point of view. What that tells me is that they have some kind of conflict where the, the statistical bonuses that this thing is giving you, they didn't tell the raid to not take into effect that there is some kindness, statistical boost going on in the ecosphere of the game. Speaker 7 (01:41:43): So that means that they're using some kind of global variable system. It's overlapping in different game modes and they didn't go through and sanitize the data so that it's not conflicting. Alright. Nerd. I am a nerd man. So that's, I think that's awesome. And like how difficult is it now out of curiosity, I love you. How difficult is that to take care of and like a mobile phone game is that if they had two devs, man a week tops, really just they had to devs dedicated a senior dev and a junior sitting there picking through code, writing out the logic to say, Hey, when there is a war into effect, don't use these global variable. Or like how about they just don't do that. How about they don't write code that overlaps in different game modes. I can all be different. Goes back into that, uh, of all the, um, uh, like not re-skin stuff. Speaker 7 (01:42:33): But I mean they, they definitely are. They copy and paste a lot of things. Like we see the a hundred percent because I didn't know this until, until I, somebody mentioned this in, in our discord a few weeks ago when I was talking about how, uh, when the scope, the deal went through and I said some of the effect of there's no, I cannot see how they have the same people that developed this game working on it. And they said that the company that came up with this game no longer has anything to do with it and they haven't had anything to do with it for quite awhile. And it's like, well, you know what I can fucking tell because you can, you can definitely tell when shit like this happens, that that is indicative that they don't actually know what they fucking bought. And they hired people that don't know how to go in there, read the code, keep using that same code and building upon it because that means that there's the, they have a, they have a inexperienced team, but that doesn't really know how to work with it. Speaker 7 (01:43:25): Honestly. They parted ways with seismic about six months after the game launch. How hard is it defined and what I mean, and this is again, super tangent, but like why can't they just get someone like, you pay you enough money for a month, two months, three, whatever it might be to figure this stuff out. I mean, it's that homey. They just don't want to spend the money because it's like that. It's like the concept of, um, well, you know what guys, they're going to eat shit anyways, so why do we, why do we need to, you know, because the whole point of this movement is to show them, Hey, we're done with this shit. You don't want to deal with it anymore. And essentially they've been sitting there and their meetings and they're like, well, you know what? People are upset, but who cares? People are the number. Speaker 7 (01:44:08): Look at the numbers, man. It's like you were saying with the graph, they're like, they're saying, okay, we could have like 150 miserable people on Reddit that are threatening to quit. Does the graph go like this or does it stay like this? And it's been staying like this. So until it dips down there, they're not going to care. So, um, and now that, now that they eat, like you said, even if they see a 1% loss, the higher ups are going to be like, Oh, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. What's going on here boys? I've got to step in and what's what's happening here. Anyway. Speaker 1 (01:44:40): Cool. Any other, any other QA stuff or is that pretty much it? That was it. Yeah. Well a Woolworth though.
