how you guys deal with that amount of rain water destruction yearly. I don't understand. I don't get it

because it was a lot. Well, first of all, we don't have basements. Second of all, after Hurricane Andrew, there was a this is something I learned back when Irma hit us, because Irma was the last hurricane that hit Fort Lauderdale.

That was super bad. Well, it was going to be like catastrophic. And that the last minute it kind of curve balled out into the Atlantic. But. They after Andrew hit, which I think was back in, I want to say like the mid 90s or early 2000s, they had to go through and they completely redid like the the

zoning codes. And, you know, your your home has to be like as have certain tiling for roofing. And I mean, they really change like everything. And they built a lot of irrigation systems. So that flooding isn't really as bad in my neighborhood like the last hurricane that hit.

Yeah, the water got in my garage. But it's like my my garage is on a slant. Like most garages are built on a slant, like an incline, because that's how they mitigate this kind of thing. But you're right.

I mean, like anything near the beach, man, forget about it, dude. It's going to get flooded. That's why they don't have anything. Like usually the first floors of most homes are barren. And then like mine, for example, I live in a three story, one bedroom place.

If my house got flooded. My living quarters would be unaffected by it. So it's kind of the way that a lot of the buildings are built down here. But I can't even imagine being in like one of those high rises on the beach when one of those storms come slapping at you.

Man like that would scare the shit out of me. But I'm glad you guys are fine, because I woke up and I saw the damage. And I actually I was on Instagram and I saw Amanda's posts of her like like like pushing water or spitting water out of the

ground, reaching the

freezing the water out of the garage. And I was like, hell is going on up there? Like I f

we were like literally two inches away from water, completely overflowing into the basement, which I

mean, I wish I was any inches away from not having water, but luckily it's no more. Well, I mean, it's actually not that's not true. Nothing's been fixed. So if anything happens again, I'll instantly have water, my garage or my basement.

And so until. Well, the problem is, I won't there won't be any work done to fix this issue now for at least like I mean, because Rosh Hashanah is coming up. So there's no work Tuesday, huh? It's Tuesday.

Pretty sure, sure, there's a holiday on Tuesday. We were on I

wish I could spell it. There it is. Oh, it does. It starts OK, though. It's only it's the sixth to the eighth. So hopefully Thursday. But it'll good. So hopefully Thursday. I mean, I will get we told them we're not paying rent in this month as compensation for all of the problems we've had to deal with, because

the fifth flood in our basement in a bit, because it wasn't just rainwater. Our next both our next door neighbors, they didn't get any water in their basement. And like this was this had been a drain problem now for months.

All right, so well, I can talk about a little bit about the Andrew did either when you guys play the Diablo two beta by any chance?

I did, yes. Josh, Mike down a tiny bit. Josh, come in hot. Moved away. Yeah. It's like a modulator.

Yeah. Yes. So, yeah, I absolutely loved it. I know that there are a lot of on

console or PC.

So I actually tried both because I wanted to. I like the console, OK? I have pros and cons of both. The PC version was better, much better graphically speaking. It's just all the quality like features were better on console.

I had more fun playing it, but I found that it was harder to deal with the UI because like it's easier just pointing click and drag things. However, this morning I read in the queue that they have already made twenty seven changes that are all like really good quality of life changes based off the beta.

And they have like I guess like twenty something more slated to be fixed before the release of the game, which is really cool because a lot of times, you know, these companies I mean, this is the point of a beta and a closed alpha and all that kind of stuff.

Right. So it's cool to see that they actually are like taking people's critique and things that people didn't like about it and they're fixing it. One of my biggest gripes in general was that on the PC version, it was just slow, like it was laggy and the color was not as vibrant, whereas on my PC, it looked

beautiful, like it absolutely played just and I'm going to be as five. So I expected similar quality because, you know, its next Gen Garai is supposed to be next gen graphics and all that kind of stuff. But overall, like I'm very excited I was bombed.

I couldn't play a necromancer or an assassin, because those are the two that I actually wanted to play. But it leaves more for me to look forward to when the game out. The all the other really cool thing I thought was the fact that.

When I loaded it up on my five, I didn't have to input any of my information. Like, I just I just installed the game, loaded it up, and it had my characters and my Binet already auto loaded into it, which I thought was super cool and convenient.

It's like one of those little, little tiny things. But it was cool because my homie and I'll be playing on the PC. And then, you know, when he went to bed, I went down on the couch, got bait and was just sprawled out playing some Diablo two.

That's where I thought it was fine. But it just it just lacked in. Oh, your character's

like transferred over like it. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't know that.

That's cool. Yeah. Yeah. So like like we were playing on the PC and I was like, well, I'm just going to go do a couple runs on my sorceress, you know. And I mean, actually, no, I was going to go start a new sorceress because I didn't like the one that I made.

And I went down there and I saw it there, and I was like, oh, shit, all my characters are here. Like, this is dope. You know, I thought that was really cool. The one thing I thought was weird, which I guess is probably a technical hold up, but I couldn't play with people on p.c.

I could only play with people on Pacifies or on the PlayStation Network, you know. And I used to be. Yeah. I thought it was supposed to be that I could play with people on Xbox and PC. But I guess their idea of cosplay is the fact that I can take my characters from PC and play them on

my GPS five as well.

Cross Save, I would say.

Yeah, cross right. Which I thought it was going to be the other way around. But either way, I mean, it's still it's still a cool feature. I'm sure that they're probably working on trying to get it done, but it seems like they were pretty focused on smoothing out a lot of the bugs and making sure that people

are enjoying it because, you know, blizzards under fire. And so I think they have to be really careful about not putting out bullshit anymore because, you know, they're in Fuego. Yeah, they're they're losing a lot of steam. And while like it's actually really sucks because of, you know, the fact that I'm like hardcore into right now.

So people are shitty. Oh, man. But you know what? Hey, they're making they're making they're trying to make improvements to the company. I mean, it's a big company. You can't just fire a whole slew of people overnight and replace them overnight, like replacing

that kind of jerk. Everybody's expendable.

You can't. I'm just joking. I mean, it is a little salty little. He starts the farting firing of everybody. The farting out of it is easy. Bringing in quality workers that aren't going to do the same scumbag kind of shit.

That's the part that actually is is tough in today's society, I would say.

Yeah, I'm mean our gentille until like I see widespread change to that place. I'm not buying anything new from them. But you know, those mean like, you know, I can still give a subjective opinion about a video game that they may be putting out, but I'm not going to like get it or play it so I just

can watch it.

I mean, I did wasn't go to stuff, it looked OK. I'm just like. For me, it's like I'm not going to I was never I didn't play Diablo one or two. So there's no nostalgia factor for me, even if I wanted to do it.

It's 100 percent nostalgia because it's the same. Same sounds. Same music. Yeah. It's literally the same. Just like really well done. You know, like the little things that I like. If I if I were to log into DTU right now and I were to say to myself, you know, if they could remake this, how would I want

them to remake it without compromising the integrity of the game itself? And that's pretty much what they've done, which is

it's funny because, you know, this is the third remake of an older game that they had, the first remake, your Starcraft brood, where you make phenomenal Warcraft three, Reforge not the best, but then the Amadeu apparently is good.

So it's it's like, you know, there there are two for three now with with the remake.

I mean, the classic quite well. Classic, I guess.

Technically, technically that's I guess that's a remake, too. So I'm hearing an absolute three, four, four.

I guess I'm having an absolute blast of it. And you know, I'm just going to flex this right now. I'm rated one of the top 100 islands in the world that I like 20 sell 20000 or something like that.

It's terrible. It's awful. I mean, they're Shadowlands is in the dumps right now because they when when Asman and a lot of the other big streamers, when they went to Final Fantasy 14, pretty much all of their fans went with them.

And then you add in a there's like three factors. They're right. There's like the streamers slash influencer brigade that pretty much took like, you know, probably a million plus people over to Final Fantasy. Then you've got dogshit development and, you know, just completely tone deaf developers ignoring their player base, just absolutely ignoring everything that they're saying about

how they're unhappy, how the content sucks. And the number three, you've got the lawsuit thing and there's people that don't want to like you that actually that don't want to support the company until they fix the problems within.

And so, I mean, you combine the three and it's like I think they're down like

here's a question for you. I'll tell you how much are down, but who do you think has more of a population, a Shadowlands or classic?

but you're off by nearly three million daily players for classic is one point to two. I was surprised by this. I figure it had been diverse.

classics, mostly full of people like me. That played it when I was younger. And we don't like modern style it,

but it has, you know, in December of twenty twenty. Yeah. Shadowlands had a population of around seven million and it's gone down quite a bit since December, which, you know, nearly a year ago. But even so and then for for classic it had a population of it had the highest at two million, this with six January from

March, April, May, June.

And I'll be you to see I'll be interested to see what happens with it, because you've got new worlds, which I know Vache is really looking forward to. Yeah. Yeah.

Would you say that it reminds you of a certain pastime that you used to participate in when you were a youth? What I don't know is how, a.k.a. Magic the gathering

seem a magic magic. The magic isn't as I would never go to Friday night magic and drink beer and like and like, but

I mean, if we. OK, so we playing with friends at a house. Yeah, totally. OK. We would do that stuff. But like when I played Magic, I did it mostly at like our local game store, more than like playing with buds.

So like in that atmosphere, it's definitely more it's not as casual, you know. Yeah. Like we're we're hemer. I'm never going to play like a Turnham. And so like I'm just like get like once a month, get together.

You could be a champion. You have no idea.

I like using not official games, workshop models, which are not allowed in any of any tournament for that that type of stuff.

So all your effort would be go out the window. Would you say to all your effort would be out the window, be off or not?

Kind of like there. I think that unfortunately, games workshop is doesn't have a big ask. I mean, they have a big catalog of all their stuff, but like I'm like, oh, from my army, this demon prince doesn't look like it would be in my army.

It makes no sense. So I'm going to ordered this cool thing off Etsy that looks that makes more sense to me, it sounds like. And that's not allowed at. So, you know, it is what it is, but that's our job.

But yeah, I mean, it's really fun to get together and watch Clamor get really drunk. And you know me just like yelling about I don't know any of the rules. And yeah, it's. It is tight. Can if you can't for you to come.

I know. I need to get my figurines. I still haven't taken the Reimer out of my backpack. That's fine. That's fine. But either way, it'll be fun and exciting. All right. What else? Yeah. I haven't really

Aliens fireteam.

Oh, how was that? You didn't mention the last week or last time?

You know, I do enjoy a lot the. The back for blood, the left for dead to style zombie shooter. I think back for blood is definitely a nice because like there's three, as I mean, actually saying that I'm an alien.

So technically there is three to in them. You know, you have roadworthy left for dead, two aliens for our team and then some point back for blood. Right. I think Byford blood was a really good addition to the genre.

Like you have a lot like that. I really like the card mechanic. I think Robers is better left for dead. Which is funny because I'm sure there's a lot of left for dead players that probably in on World War Z.

But always he was actually a very, very fun, very fun. It's a very it's just is a breath of fresh air in that genre.

Zombie wave mechanic is.

Oh, it's amazing. It's really well done. So Aliens Fireteam is I'm really enjoying it for a couple of reasons. One, the classism is nice. There is like definitely some some fun. I have a technician, so like, you know, I'm putting up sensory terrorists.

It's like throwing out like electroshock shit, like stuff like that. I have like a shotgun and a pistol. So I'm not really like killing shit the gun, but I'm like throwing shit out, you know. And so the the class mechanics are cool.

But also just straight up, the the the I mean, I guess it's is the soldier, but it's an you know, it's I love the alien verse, whatever that may be. And I love the movie. Aliens is one of my favorite films.

So it's really funny to of sit there like pretending I'm fucking Vásquez, you know, like just being an idiot, just like button gets up, gets, you know, as like a wave of aliens are coming at me. And the story is pretty cool.

So far I haven't. And like it's a nice variety of like imagery, guns and like customizations. Your skill tree is kind of cool. Like I'm fully just going to it. So like I'm just adding tourt stuff to my skill tree and shit like that.

So like it's definitely it's it's a nice addition to the genre because it's not just zombies. The zombie thing is fine, don't get me wrong. But it's like, oh, fuckin cinema. That's awesome. That's like, you know, I don't know.

It's it's I'm more engaged because of how much I enjoy aliens and stuff, you know, and like, you know, the have all the classic sounds and stuff of it, like the sound, the assault rifles, the Marines shoot. It's like, you know, or you can say, I'm sorry.

Oh, no, no, I didn't see you play Fantasma Fogie or Fast Biphobia again. U.S. officials call it phantasmal phobia.

It's funny, I. Yeah, it's pretty much a new game. They redid like everything from the ground up.

Yeah. Somebody was telling me that it's like way different from how it was when it first came out. What did they what did they add to it?

It's a lot more difficult. The ghost is a lot smarter, a lot more intuitive. I died three games in a row because the ghost, you can't hide the same spot twice, you know, it'll come back to that spot.

So they may die of the ghost like way, way better.

Way better. They changed up like nearly all of the items. So the parabolic microphone, which I used to, like you, point in direction. The ghost is making like paranormal sound. They'll just register like a meter, you know what I mean?

But now if you point that direction, the like, you'll hear that goes in there like like whispers. And it's creepy, of course. You know, so there's just like a lot of the items have changed. They added a thing called a dots meter, which like you put against the wall and it projects a bunch of dots and ghosts

that normally wouldn't show themselves will get shown. You know, I did lose my ankle breaking skills Owusu. I died so many times the other night and I've started playing again. But it's having more fun because it's not as just like you walk to a room, it's cold.

Great. We find the ghost, you know, now, like the ghost moves around the house now, too. So you may have found it in a room. You start putting you shut down. It's like, oh, wait, it's certainly not cold here anymore.

The fucking ghost is gone. Everything. And it's like frustrating in that sense because some of the some of the items, they're not handheld. Like if you have to put down a pile of salt, that's see the ghost walks through it and the ghost of that room.

Great. You just wasted the salt. You know, it's it's everyone. It's the gravagna. Everything got updated about it. This was like a huge, huge update for this game. And it's definitely more fun. It's it's you know, the scary factor is like all but gone, really.

There are some gems, scares, stuff like the scary factor is I'll be gone. I did get scared the other day. Really good. One of the ghost is a little kid. It's like a little girl in the garden. You know, the face is just one big mouth with a bunch of teeth laid.

There's no isor it's just one big mouth omal. It's like the silak pit, you know. Oh, you know, see that? Yeah. And we were goading it and and it flashed in front of all of us, like walking towards us and and then disappeared.

two ghosts and that are still scary. There's a little girl with the face smallmouth and there's like a ring type ghost where it like crawls. Like a creepy crawly crawlspace that's a hard knock on all fours and has a really long black hair, you can't see its face.

So the creepy crawly ghost is like obviously pretty good. Anything that you have to look down at because you're looking at like eye level, you're looking up and you're expecting like the ghost, like the dude with the do with the ax or the woman with, you know, whatever.

But then like when they pop up, when you see this flash under you and you look down and it's looking up at you, you're like, oh, fuck, that's that's scary, you know. Yeah.

The games of the games have is like a lot better. I think the problem with a game like that is is like how much can you really do in the long run with that? You know, there's only so much you can keep doing to like keep people engaged in it.

Like I enjoy it. I, I have a lot of fun playing it with him, but I don't play it on my own time like I do with wow. Like wow to me is just the ultimate game. Like I freaking love that game and I can I can get lost on it for hours with my Palladin.

But on 14, it's like I only like playing it when I'm playing with my friend. And it has an amazing story. You know, I think it is is I think that 14 has an amazing storyline, whereas WOWOW does not have a storyline.

I mean, it does, but it's like inconsequential to the gameplay, like most people don't play. Wow. Because of the law. Most people play 14 because of the law. Like the story I write, the story is. Like right now I'm in I'm in storm blood, which is about the the warrior darkness.

And it's it's really cool. Like I, I spend more time watching cut scenes than I do playing the game, which is like a weird thought. Right. But it's good. Like it's really, really good. The story is very well thought out, very well executed.

It's I mean, on this new PC, the game is absolutely gorgeous, honestly. Like I had to turn the spell particle effects down because when I go into the 24 man raids, it's like I can't even see my character.

It's just like, yeah, just like spell particle effects going frickin crazy everywhere. So which is a good problem to have, I suppose, the first time I've ever experienced that. Thanks. But look, I don't know. It's like it's a weird thought, right?

Like like the game's phenomenal, but I just it doesn't do it for me. On most occasions, you know, which is weird to say, but and I and I have a feeling that that's going to be the same thing for New World with me, where like I'll enjoy playing with you guys and I'll enjoy playing it, you know

, if there's like a raid or like something. I think the thing is, is I like these games. When you're teaming up with other people, like that's the most fun part about Animos is teaming up with other people, like the solo gameplay, whatever.

I like that's like all mobile gaming rather than price points, but they were like one of the first to do it for a game and they were really successful about it. So you don't pay monthly for it. And that's why, like I play it all the time and then like I wouldn't feel bad about not logging in

for two months because like, oh, well, I don't have to pay a monthly for I'm not hooked on it, which is what my problem with. Wow, I should just I just felt like I'm paying fifteen dollars a month.

There's a card system where every game you you have you have cards that you either unlock or you find them in

a map or whatever, and it might be like a faster reload. Or instead of a melee, you have a passive knife that, you know, whatever you can hold to primary. What I don't I mean, so it's like, all right, I think you already can maybe I don't know.

But the card system just allows more because it's almost like. You know, you're just you're just picking from a skill tree every single level, you know, and then just get better as you go on and like if, you know, if you're like the explosive guy, you might have a card, you know, you're explosive as a bigger blast

radius or some shit like that. Um, and then the there's just like some cool there's like some cool zombies and there's also a PvP, which is really fun. Was new to this. I didn't try it either, but I watched like some like some sweaty like pro motherfuckers do it, which was really funny, like watching Shrout with a

team like Play the Back for Blood PVCs. Ah, is hilarious because it's like, yo, you guys are not playing on it right now. You could probably relax a little, you know, if you guys could chill, you know. But that's new.
