Brad Interview Theme: work-life balance, caregiving and caretaking, parenting as a faculty member Jen: Hello, my name is Jen Moon, I’m an Associate Professor of Instruction and a Provost’s Teaching Fellow Stephanie: Hello my name is Stephanie, Assistant professor Stephanie: Today we're thinking about care, well-being, that elusive idea of balance, caregiving and caretaking whether nurturing folks around us, neighbors friends and family, or the care we give to young people in our homes, parenting, or though our caring for the previous generation or the next generation, care-giving. Jen: Brad Love joins us today to talk with us about care giving, parenting, the work life balance. Brad has served as the chair of Provost’s Teaching Fellows and is currently on the steering committee. His primary research interests include investigating the persuasive capabilities of mass media, particularly as applied to pro-social topics such as public health. This includes examining the social and psychological elements necessary for persuasion and the influence that digital media can have on the process.
