June-boree 2026.mp3 Hey everyone, it's Jason. This is a programming note for June Berrie. This is not a regularly scheduled episode, but rather an update on Junebrie 2026. For those of you that don't know what June Brie is, I don't know how you don't, but since you don't and you've admitted that you don't I will say go to June dothemisphericviews.com to learn more. It is a reimagining of Arcadia June for this year 2026, and we think everybody really will have a good time with it. So I think if you have not jumped in or you've been kind of cautious, it is a 30-day challenge event. Challenge sounds hard, it is not hard. There are 30 unique things to do throughout June, one announced every single day, and you can complete any of them at any point throughout the month, just as long as you do them in June. So we are now halfway through June, today being June 15th, and just to give you an idea, if you haven't been keeping up with it, what we've been doing so far, so I will do a quick rundown of the first 15 days of June Bree. June 1st was easy just to create the forum thread, which you can get to at chat.hemisphericviews.com. June 2nd was to create a hyper specific meme about a running joke from the podcast, which honestly has been absolutely incredible. If you've for no other reason have not joined the form, get in there just to see the incredible memes that have been created. June 3rd is listen to an entire music album from start to finish without looking at a screen, being distracted, or even skipping a track, and then post that album and the album length. June 4th was to record a 30-second audio clip of an ambient sound outside your house, maybe it's birds or traffic or whatever, and then post that specifically without context. June 5th was to take a screenshot of your phone battery. Brace yourself, hitting 1%. This was tough for all of us, but we got through it. June 6th, take a photo of a classic regional snack or beverage unique to your part of the world. Are you catching the the the theme here of uh everything being as hemispheric as possible? June 7th, take an artistic photo of something interesting on your daily walk or drive. Please be stationary while you're doing that. June 8th, write down a thought or quote or a goal even for the day on an actual piece of paper with a physical pen and then post a photo digitally. I get it. June 9th, for a real world find a real world sign, menu, package, whatever, something with words that has just terrible font spacing and then post a photo of that. June 10th was to take a before and after photo of your desk setup after a deep decluttering. So going from zero to a hundred on your desk. June 12th was to get active, we're gonna walk 10,000 steps and then post a photo of that. June 13th was a 15-second recording, uh like a voice memo or whatever of pronouncing a difficult local place name for your area. Uh June 14th, which is taking a photo of a local transit pass, train ticket, or a unique road sign from your neighborhood. And then finally again halfway through June 15th, Arcadia is back into it. We're gonna say score 50 plus in bounce and that is in arcadia so as you can see fun challenges unique around the world experiences you get to see and hear things from all around the world which is awesome. So if you haven't joined, please do. It is a lot of fun. You know, there's gonna be trophies once again for our sixth year here. So thank you to everybody for listening and we hope to see you in the forum to participate in Junebury 2026.
