Hello out there Adstrata! Im Dante Pendragon and if you are hearing my voice, I am still stuck within these walls! So gather around as my sidekick, the evil undead skull I call Tony, and I share with you our continued efforts to.... Escape from Unknowable Conservstory...or as you call it....the news.. Intro music Its a cold day here at Unknowable Conservatory! I am Dante Pendragon and With me as always is your favorite undead dark lord and mine.....Tony. :REDACTED: Well no, but my real name sounds stupid here. I always used this name back home and it just fits better here And as for you....you dont know you're own name so I will continue to call you Tony until you show me otherwise. Pilgrimage season is coming up in a few short weeks and the Ministery of Answers in Tvulia would like to preemptively welcome you to the city of Thorvulthia. They welcome all who seek enlightenment but they have a few reminders for anyone attempting the journey this cycle. 1. The journey is incredibly dangerous, and can be fatal. Please consider not making the journey if losing your life is not worth the answer. 2. There are no winners to a pilgrimage. Everyone benefits if you work together. 3. The Rouge's Workshop is NOT a misnomer! Please do not attempt to stop at the workshop for supplies. It is run by ACTUAL thieves and brigands! They can not emphasize enough how important it is not to stop there. :REDACTED: I...look..the fine people at the Ministry of Answers have asked us to make these announcements. If you prefer to take the advice of an undead lord of darkness of some mid level beurocrat...hmm..just be careful. If youve been to the Rogues Worshop in the past, let us know. Is it a death trap or cant miss destination? :EVIL LAUGH: Lastly, the city of Thorvulthia provides you an answer to your question. There is no guarantee that it is the answer you expect, understand, or can even use. BREAKING NEWS! I know everyone has been curious about the Klynn :REDACTED: And I have received an update. Chrysolophus, the Eudyptest of the Klynn has reached out to let us know, and to tell you, faithful listeners, that yes, apparently a large portion of the Klynn nation DID wander onto a floating mountain some weeks back. Everyone is safe, but at this time the location of the floating mountain is unknown. Chrysolophus did let me know that the Klynn are very greatful for everyones help investigating. If we get any additional information, we will pass it on, but for now...safe travels our Klynn friend. Thats crazy Tony! You guys have Avatar islands?! Do you have Unobtanium here too? :REDACTED: Avatar is a...movie. movie is moving pictures..the pictures move-y? Anyway in this fictional movie, this world has floating islands. Some really cool and smart people in a really terrible place made an awesome fake version back home. You can just ignore Unobtanium, everyone does. But floating islands...do you have lots of them? Arr they all over? :REDACTED: Huh. Always amazing when you can find something in your world you never knew about. Speaking of finding new things... Today we are going to combine some segments! First...in another installment of Life Inside the conservatory, I found...like...a sewing room? Lots of upholstery and and some old garments...so Im looking PRETTY Adstrata sheik right now...or..sheik hundreds of years ago probably. But Im rocking it. :REDACTED:..on fleek. Ill be honest. I dont even know if you are using that right but I'll take it. :REDACTED: Oh yes we do. :REDACTED: Oh yea, we cant deny everyone their favorite segment....realive Tony! Also in this sewing room, I found like a full body mannequin. So we couldnt bring them back, but Ive been Weekend at Bernies-ing Tony on this thing for a few days now and it is awesome. Its like their a real full person. :REDACTED: I think it was for money or something? Maybe to keep his job? Work on earth is reaaaal messed up. :REDACTED: YOU said you liked the outfit. :REDACTED: I knew you would like it. You're welcome. :REDACTED: What? :REDACTED:. Of course buddy. Now we are ready to hit the town! Which town? Why Vhel of course! This Community Outreach segment is brought to you by the Split Deck in Vhel. Bringing you the finest libations in Vhel. Now featuring TWO outdoor seating areas, the Split Deck is sure to be THE spot in Vhel when things start to warm up. We have a special message coming to from Vhel. A young woman by the name of Kertha is looking for an adventuring party. She'd like to make the pilgrimage this year, but is looking to get a group together. Shes hoping to get some adventuring done before then, to bring the group together and pick up some new gear before the journey, so if you are an adventurer looking for a group, head down to the Split Deck and ask Cyxxte the bartender for Kertha's table! We're really picking up a fan base Tony. I wish there was some way we could get compensated for mentioning these businesses but since we are trapped in this tower with no apparent means of physically contacting the world outside...we're happy to share your messages! As always, feel free to reach out to us here, share any requests you have, offer any suggestions for us to escape or to send me back home. :REDACTED: Right...or to fix Tony...contact us through whatever magical device you listen to us on. More breaking news! I have received several messages from the Keep of Gur in the Marsh of Moss? Marsh of moss? :REDACTED: Right. They would a) ask the factions of the city and the forces of the cities outside to stop fighting, but more importantly wish to remind BOTH sides that while during winter, the marsh becomes passable when frozen over, the winter has been unseasonably warm and things have started to thaw early. The marsh is very deep and you will likely fall in, drown, and haunt their dreams perpetually. They ask you to please TRY not to fall in and die. The hauntings have been known to make even there toughest soldiers cry out during the night. And also the flies. Well thank you to the brave soldiers from the keep for all they do and hope this message reaches any who might plan to be traveling near there. That brings us to the end of our broadcast. Tony. Anything from you? :REDACTED: My sentiments exactly! That will be it from us at "Escape from Unknowable Conservatory"! I have been Dante Pendragon, that had been Tony, and we want get out of here! BURGER TIME Tony! Lets go! :REDACTED: Me too buddy, me too. Thanks everyone and we will see you next time! Some new lore for this episode inspired by the Deck of Worlds from the Story Engine. Gameplay footage of this game and others can be found at youtube.com/dantependragon in our series Building a World: Adstrata.
